Saw that there's a Black Friday sale still on so we took the drive over the Pali to check it out! Got there, there's writing on the door that they'll open at 11. By 11am, still no one there. So we decided to go next door to SoHo Keiki. There's plenty of employees who were willing to help and we found what we were looking for. Discount wasn't as good, but hey, they were open and had what we were looking for. I understand it can be harsh giving 1 star to a pace I haven't been inside in, but we drove all the way over here specifically for this place. If they were going to be closed, it would've been acceptable if there was a sign that said it.

Located in Kailua Shopping Center this newbie is a fun place to get that and so more like a water bottle with their shop name, a tote that's says Vacay is my kinda vibe and the cites shell prints on a tee and swim wear really got me smiling, I just love the selections they have here. My only deal is the ladies who could care less as I certainly don't fit into that thong or shopper they probably are targeting for as there was zero peep from them no hi or hello through my browsing experience and I was interested in a few items but have decided not to sadly as it was all lovely and reasonably priced. She kept her distance and made us feel comfortable (usually employees act dumb in little boutique stores like this, following us everywhere and not asking us for help) but the lady who worked here was nice so it made our experience great. Wound up buying two dresses-- one for my daughter that she liked, and the dress in the window for me. Excellent customer service, and great selections! Also, to the person who wrote a review about them not taking a pair of earrings back: most businesses wont take earrings or underwear back after you leave the store for sanitary reasons. No one knows if you tried it on after you left and no one wants to get stuck with something that they cant sell afterwards. Just saying.

Shopping in Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii…read more.. Lexbreezy had a super long line of customers at the Made In Hawaii Festival a few months ago. I've seen the Instagram posts of their clothing, but never had a chance to look upclose at the styles and fabrics. We were going to lunch in Kailua - next door at the new Oh My Grill - and noticed that Lexbreezy is right here! Wow! With free parking, it's so easy to stop by after a meal. Unfortunately, we took too long to eat and Lexbreezy was closed. I drove back to Kailua and got a chance to look around the cute shop! I liked the prints, but didn't care for the styles. For example, rompers are too inconvenient for me to wear. I'll stop by in a few months and check the merchandise. Maybe new items will come out for the holidays... I noticed a dressing room - it will come in handy since there might not be any returns/exchanges accepted.

It's also pretty spacious if you have a stroller. They have a variety of items -- clothes, workout attire, things for a baby to toddler sized, things for your animals, and accessories for your home, office, or car. The prints are unique and some are bold in color. They do have solid colors if that's what you prefer. Some of the clothes are true to size and some run a little large. It's always best to try it on in store. The quality of their clothes are great. I still have rompers and dresses from five years ago. The color doesn't fade and the wear of it is still the same.

I normally love the brand and have always enjoyed shopping there. That being said, I was disappointed with the customer service during this past Saturdays visit. I've worked in customer service for almost 20 years, and one of the most basic expectations is simply acknowledging a customer when they walk in whether that's a quick greeting, asking if they need help, or letting them know you're available if they need anything. I was the only customer in the store for more than five minutes, and two employees saw me come in but neither greeted me or approached me the entire time. I don't expect anyone to hover while I shop, but a simple "Hi, welcome in" goes a long way and is just basic customer service. I did end up purchasing something because it was on sale and, like I said, I genuinely like Mahina. I just hope management reminds the sales associates how important it is to acknowledge and welcome customers who take the time to come into the store. A small gesture can make a big difference in the overall shopping experience.
