I was waiting on my boyfriend a few stores down and decided I would get my nails done. I should have looked them up first. When I got in the lady greeted me and immediately sat me down. Which I thought, great this is nice and quick. But then she sat down and pretty much got started before I could even look at the colors. So I'm picking colors while she's trimming my nails but doesn't do any cuticle care or anything else. I pick and she just gets straight to it again and hadn't checked my length or even asked me how long I wanted. Got powder all over my hands and never was offered to go wash them, I had to ask myself. I went here bc I needed my nails done last min. I was the only customer in the store and she was the only employee. They were about to close within the hour but there was still plenty of time left to create precise dip nails which I had requested. The lady told me ever since Covid their business had slowed down quite a bit. Once she had started working on my nails I understood why. She did not clean my cuticles or push them down. She did not file my natural nails. She clipped my pinky's longer than the rest of my nails. They are all uneven lengths. My middle nails and my thumbs are so short compared to the rest of the set. I do not feel elegant. I do not feel pretty with these nails. They are expensive for $50 dollars I would hope they are at least straight but NOPE my nails are crooked. They are filed crooked. I am pretty unsatisfied to say the least. Won't be coming back here ever. read more

NEW MANAGEMENT!!!!!!!! I have been going to Sydney for over 2 years every 4-6 weeks. And my mother in law gets SNS nails (powder dip) every 3 weeks as well. When she arrived at her appointment in late August, the shop was closed. She waited 1.5 hrs in the parking lot before she left because no one was there. I went for a pedicure the last weekend in September. It was extremely disappointing. My three biggest complaints were employees dropping their tools on the floor+reusing them, leaving dirty tools visible and I have never left a nail salon with paint so poorly painted on my nails. read more

Every one here is very unkind and rude. First there is a language barrier, so any communication is difficult. The nail tech is very rough and does not have any conversation with the client at all and if you have a question or request, you are dismissed. The owner came in the shop and did not wear a mask the entire time, as required by Texas law. When she was confronted about this, she said that "it was her shop". There were no other customers there in the entire 2 hours that I was there. The prices went up since my last visit here, with no explaination. So I'm a little disappointed... I had to change my nail salon arrangements... I was coming here for over a year... like once a week... and everyone was so nice.. one my situation changed, total services + tip amount slightly decreased, I was no longer a priority. I walked in 30 minutes before they closed and they were so friendly and understanding. I had a powder dip manicure and Joe did an amazing job and really took his time. I also had a pedicure by Long and she gave the best leg and foot massage I've ever had getting a pedicure. This place is under new management and it's a wonderful place to go. So me and my cousin tried this salon today despite some of the reviews being negative. I have to say I'm glad we went here. My cousin got the premium pedi, she loved it and said it's one of the best massages she's received during a pedi. I got gel nails with black tips and I have no complaints, they look great. Also we were both in and out in a hour! I didn't mind that there is a language barrier, in fact, I think it's great. People coming to a whole different country to make their dreams come true. Unhappy!!! I have been going here for about year, with no concerns or issues. I don't normally post reviews, but I truly felt this time was needed. Last month I noticed changes in the service, which I decided was just one of those days (everyone has them). Then Saturday May 22th changed my mind. My husband and I had an appointment for pedicures, so we got right in. The woman (new person) doing my husband's pedicure was rough handling and did a terrible job. This is the absolute worst nail salon I have ever gone to! I went here for about 7 years and the managements and staff changed and i will never go back. They overcharge, they are unkind (even to my daughter I brought in) and the end result was disgusting and painful! I had to get them redone the next day. My girlfriend had the same experience. They are also completely unethical as i wrote a review previously and they chose to delete it. As I'm sitting here waiting on my polish to dry, angry that my pedicure was rushed and only so so .. The technician was on the phone during most of the treatment & even managed to massage my feet with one hand while talking. The polish she used was old so she diluted it, and when I questioned her she didn't really respond and seemed frustrated when she had to re-do an area. I have been coming here for over 7 years, and it's still the best deluxe pedicure in the area. I have tried several places in the area, and always feel like I leave disappointed, but not here. Their $40 deluxe pedicure typically costs $50-$70 at other places. And the staff takes time and does not rush through the best part - the massage!!!! The tech did not get all the red polish off from before so when she polished white, it made them look pink. The other day the owner literally harassed me about payment when I had already paid and then harassed my mother who didn't even get her nails done. She also started arguing with a tech, which I thought was wildly unprofessional. Other than the girl that does my nails, everyone else is so rude. I have gone to this spa for pedicures for years now and have always been impressed. I decided to start gettin my manicures done here also and they do a great job on acrylics. I got gel done and within 2days they chopped and peeled. 4 days later they cracked and when I went in they told me to come back at 12-2pm, when I came in at 12:30 they said I was late and tried to tell me to come back tomorrow. When I told them I had work tomorrow I need them fixed today they made me wait 30 minutes and when they got to me they told me my nails broke and they will charge me $10 to take them off and replace them. Funny how all 5 nails broke. Instead they peeled off the broken pieces, since I refused to pay, and painted over the leftover nail polish. They were rude, sloppy, and by far the worst experience I've had. I wish I would've just asked for my money back. read more

I absolutely love this place! I have been coming here for about 8-9 years now. Most of the women that worked here when I started coming still work here and I normally get an appointment made with them. The new younger girls on the other hand I tend to not get a service done by them. They are extremely sweet and very nice but when it comes to certain things I would like they don't do. The first time I had received a pedicure from one of the younger ladies I had asked for zebra stripes and I had even shown her the picture, next thing I know she has her friend (who was doing my moms nails next to me) looking at my toes and laughing, when I looked down she had done white zig zags (very poorly) that didn't look like the picture I showed her at all. It was embarrassing and humiliating. I asked her to take it off and redo the plain polish. The second time I had this lady I needed to take my acrylic nails off. Now normally they would ask me to soak my nails for about 10-20 minutes and then grind the nail down with their little machines. Instead I soaked my nails for maybe three minutes and then she took another fake nail and ripped my acrylic off.. I had fully intended to get another set put on but my nails hurt to much for her to try anything else. On a positive note: The women that have done my nails in the past have done wonderfully, you just have to know who to ask for. They are, what my mom and I like to call, "The Originals", because they have been here for so long. They always try to strike up a conversation with you (even though their English isn't not the best) it's the though that counts. I am always asked how school and relationships are going, and it is nice to have a manicurist remember your stories and ask about them the mext time you are in. They always ask if I would like a drink and they try to stick to a design that you want as much as they can. I absolutely love this place, but I do recommend making an appointment with one of the women who act like they care about you and the service they are performing. read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE....I was a regular customer there getting manicures and pedicures UNTIL I got the Shellac manicure. I was told by every staff member there that it was the best thing....and that it would last 2-3 weeks. Well, I tried it out....and it came off in 3 DAYS...literally it started lifting and peeling off on every nail. So, I called there and drove over to show them on DAY 3. The lady at the front said...oh, we've never seen this before...you must have too much oil on your nail and it doesn't stay on. I said...I've had this shellac done in other cities and it was fine. She said, we are getting ready to close in about 20 min, come back and I'll give you regular manicure. I said well, I'm going on vacation, I'll stop back when I return. I did just that about 2 weeks after. I said, I'd like to get pedicure and manicure or even try acrylic...she said I won't do acrylic on your nail because you have too much oil it won't take...I said I used to get acrylic for years and it was fine...but I said...well, ok...I'll just get the pedicure and how do you want to reimburse me for shellac manicure that went bad? She said...It's been a month...we don't give credit for something that long. I said it hasn't been a month...she said I told you to come back next day...I said...no you didn't. She then said...I told you to come back 3 days later...I again said no you didn't...then she continued to argue in front of everyone and said...I would have fixed it that day but you couldn't stay...you had your kids with you. I said...listen...you didn't tell me to stay...I would have gladly stayed to get it fixed (like I enjoy walking around with peeling thick polish)...my kids would have been fine...you were closing. I told you I would come back after vacation you said that's fine. I'm here now...Please redo your work, give me a credit toward a pedicure or something else or better yet, give me my cash back...She went on and on about how it was my fault I went on vacation...I told her she made no sense...If I showed you on DAY 3 the shellac came off...what's the difference if you fixed it the next week or 3 weeks later. You should stand by your service and products. If I went to Walmart and returned a faulty item, they would replace it, give credit, or repay me. Plain and simple. I stood my ground and proceeded to tell her she made no sense. The place had some customers who couldn't believe the exchange that was occurring...eyes were rolling. I finally said...Where is the owner...she said I am the owner..I said no you are not...I asked you before and you said you weren't the owner. Finally, I just said, are you prepared to lose a regular customer over a 30 dollar shellac manicure? She didn't say a word...so I said..well, consider me done with this place. and I left. Ridiculous! I should have listened to JD's review. DO NOT WASTE YOU MONEY!!! I came to this place for a fill. Horrible job! I broke a nail at work & decided to look online for near by nail salon with good reviews. This place was close by & closed at 730. The first try coming here, I was told they couldn't take me because they only had 1 nail tech working & she was with a customer. No big. I understand that. Came back the next evening for a fill. When j got there I told the nail tech that I wanted a fill & for my nails to be trimmed down. I don't get a color over my acrylic so, you can see a huge difference between my nails & the acrylic tip. So, she asked if I had my nails buffed or with a gel on top. I told her buffed. So, she proceeds to do my nails. While she was doing my nails, I asked if she was gonna cut them down. She started talking to her friend, never answered me, & got an attitude. She started getting rough with my hands. She didn't trim my nails down & she put gel on top instead of buffing them. I got my nails done on Thursday, it's Saturday & my nails are already lifting. You can see where the nail was originally lifting & the edges are lifting.
