SWOOOOP SWOOOOP! in Miami? Save this number: 305-409-6636 I'm sure everyone is trying their best to do good things for the environment and i'm sure even more people are trying to save a buck when they can. Enter Swoop! Need a ride in the SoBe vicinity? Call them up! If you're traveling in the designated area (from 1st to 23rd, ocean drive to the bay) this little golf cart limo will take you where you need to go... for FREE! Call ahead if you need a ride, you might have to wait a while. But when they're ready to pick you up, listen for the SWOOP SWOOP to know that they're there. Be prepared, its a fun ride. and don't forget to tip your driver!

    Swoop, swoop

Miami finally took a page from Orlando! Swoop, Swoop! Yes, you will think these upscale golf cart pedi cabs are insane when they drive by and everyone is yellping "Swoop, Swoop!" and jamming away while being carted to their next location on Miami Beach. However, it will lure you in with the fun it bring to transportation and the fact that it's FREE! Yes, FREE! Tips only. No matter how many people you have, only your generous tip is required to have a fun and quick ride to your next destination. It's a mini club and each driver just loves their job, you can tell and isn't that awesome when someone is smiling because they are happy about their job? Love that! The lights at night time just make you feel like you are in da club while you are on your way to da club but saving your feet from the walk. Yes, the music is loud, the drivers are fun and you have to wear your seatbelt, not only cause they are quick, but because you don't want to fall out while you are dancing!!

    last night in Miami!

On a total whim, we caught a Swoop cab our last night in SoBe. It's COMPLETELY FREE (just tip the driver, duh) and the music is POPPING. We went for a joyride down Ocean Drive and had an amazing time. It's so much cheaper than a regular cab, and they drive down the streets of SoBe frequently - it's fairly easy to catch one. If you can grab one, DO IT.

No solution, so all the riders had to deal with 3 hours of no AC, and it was about 90 degrees Fahrenheit that day. My dad is a senior with a medical condition, so we couldn't continue on this bus with the heat. Therefore, I had to pay for an alternative route from there. This day was the worst for all of us. Yet, I had called beforehand to confirm if y'all do additional payment vouchers for these types of situations, and you said yes. I filled out BOTH forms for a refund request AND an additional payment reimbursement. I waited a week and called to check the status. The lady on the phone pretends she doesn't comprehend me and is giving me a robotic, dead-end talk. So I asked to speak with the supervisor, and the lady made excuses/refuses for me speak with them. So I filled out the forms again, and the same thing - acting like y'all dont see my forms. So since y'all aren't helping me, I called my bank to cancel the charge. You have NO customer service email, which is super suspicious. I have receipts for everything. And now you are declining my request to cancel the booking charge?? Yeah, I see the game I'm in now. Y'all are greedy, lying, and DISGUSTING for not considering health and safety for the elderly. Shameful AF. Y'all breached the policy, and legal action will be taken. Welp, here comes my name everywhere until y'all take accountability.

I was able to catch the trolley a couple of times, but no matter what time of day I caught it, It was packed. Standing room only. Sometimes it was so packed that the driver just passed me at while I was at the stop and just waved me off. The trolley was relatively clean,, but it appears that there are not many rules, at least ones being enforced. I saw people on the trolley with lots of luggage and even a motorized scooter. The trolley has clearly marked stops, for the most part, but appeared to not be on any type of schedule. There would be 30 to 40 minutes between trolleys, then you would have trolleys 2 back to back. I would say that I was able to catch the trolley about 50% of my attempts. You can track the trolley's movement via the app to keep you updated as to where they are at in real time. The trolley is ADA compliant and most have a lift in the back. They also have A/C, which is a plus. I almost wish that they would charge a small fee like a dollar to ride, to free up some space. It appeared that some people were riding because they were just bored. Anyway, I love this concept and that people have an affordable way to get around the city. I just wish there was more space available on them and that heir schedule was more reliable.

The ride going to Freeport was a bit choppy but crew was ready to assist any passengers that were experiencing sickness. Duty free shop on boat had good deals. Food was decent for being on a boat and drinks were strong and reasonably priced. Return boarding at Freeport was again east and fast considering I got there at 530. Boat on return was more lively with a dj getting the more lively passengers to dance and select songs. Needless to Soul train line was formed. Even passengers who didn't get seemed entertained watching others dancing. Once back at Fort Lauderdale the process was a bit more lengthy depart given there were only two agents checking passports. Yes faster to fly but if going in a group or maybe you find a deal I would recommend as a nice alternative to Freeport.
