Since my best friend is continuing her work, I am taking Brightline back home. I purchased the premium seat for the lounge and better sized seating. The lounge area had some light items for breakfast and I took advantage of it since we did not have breakfast at the hotel. The hashbrown was a bit limp and there was not syrup for the waffle pieces or French toast so that was a bit off. The coffee/tea machine prepared my Chai latte pretty well. They announced the boarding and the premium grouping was able to get on first. It was quick and easy to get my seating and my bag up for the ride back home. The service has been lovely so far, an hour in. We are being served snacks and drinks from the hostess which I believe is named Jenny and she is very friendly yet professional. I am happy that the Premium was worth the extra bit for the super comfy seating and add-ons. My lunch was quite tasty with a good amount of chicken, farro and Mexican pasta salad. The dessert of caramel cheesecake was good.

Pretty easy system. Trains ran on time for of my trips- which is a huge plus. Train seats are ok- missing out on footrests- that would a huge improvement.

Brightline MiamiCentral Station is conveniently located by metro stations including Tri-Rail, Metrorail, and the Metromover, which are great options to seeing Miami. Brightline covers longer distances than the other three. You can buy tickets at the station entrance lobby using either a kiosk or a staffed counter. You can also purchase tickets online at GoBrightline.com or through the Brightline app. Tickets cost between $79 and $270 depending on what your needs are. Reservations are required to travel on the Brightline. You can bring a carry-on and check one luggage bag. The ride between Orlando and West Palm Beach is approximately 2 hours. It is 3 hours 30 minutes between Orlando and Miami. The central station is modernistic and has 12 restaurants at the Central Fare Food Collective to serve you from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. You can also buy snacks on board plus 2 alcoholic beers and wine. No limit on non-alcoholic beverages. Full information can be found at GoBrightline.com.

If you're tired of the I-95 shuffle to go watch the Miami Marlins play and want to feel like you've just leveled up your travel game, Brightline Miami is where it's at! From the moment I stepped into the sleek, stylish station, I felt like I was boarding a flight without the baggage claim drama. The Station: Bright, colorful, and filled with Miami vibes - from the bold "BIENVENIDOS A MIAMI" signs to the Instagrammable murals and artsy "MIAMI" letters that practically beg for a selfie. It's part train station, part art gallery, and totally hassle-free. Navigation? Easy. Vibes? Immaculate. The Ride: Smooth as cafecito and fast enough to make you question every past road trip decision. Just a little over 3 hours to Orlando and I barely felt it. The seats? Oh, honey. Comfy like your favorite couch, with plenty of legroom, headrests that cradle you, and tray tables for work, snacks, or binge-watching your guilty pleasure shows. I even managed to get some work done without a single jostle. WiFi was solid too! The Extras: Onboard snacks and drinks are available for purchase, and the staff was as friendly as a Miami beach breeze. No TSA lines, no turbulence, and no kid kicking the back of your seat--just good vibes and glowing cabin lights that make you feel like you're in a futuristic travel ad. Final Thought: Brightline is giving "first-class on rails" and I am here for it. Whether you're commuting, escaping for the weekend, or just want a comfortable adventure that skips the airport chaos, this ride delivers. 10/10 would trade my car in for this experience again.

The premium lounge at Miami's Brightline station is well worth it when the premium ticket is not much more than the standard ticket. I only paid $32 more than standard and was able to enjoy a super comfortable seat along with breakfast, specialty coffee, and Savignon Blanc prior to my train. I didn't end up having to check a bag, but the first checked bag is free with a premium ticket. When you're on the train in premium, you get snacks and a meal when traveling between Miami and Orlando. It also includes a couple alcoholic beverages and all you can drink non-alcoholic beverages.

Always a positive experience at the station, clean, plenty of food and beverage options, the premium lounge is well stocked... etc. boarding the train is also a smooth experience...cero complaints!

Great location, lots of food options spacious and easy to find everything. It is a very busy area but employees are always around to help if needed. We were running late on our train for the way back and the staff make sure we got on on time thanks.

We are from St. Louis Mo. we traveled to Florida for a cruise, we were driving and discovered Brightline from a cruise vlogger I am soooo glad we did. For the second time we stay in Orlando and take the Brightline to Miami and Uber to the cruise port. Now we love it so much we have told others about it. When cruising from any Florida port it's BrightLine for us it beats driving and it is a relaxing way to start our vacation.

I was able to easily navigate to this Brightline station via Lyft. I was dropped off at the front door, and you take an escalator ride up, and you are at the station (similar to Orlando). Again, the security was easy to get through and moved fast. This station was fuller than the Orlando station, but I was still able to find a cozy bench to wait until boarding. There is a bar to order drinks at. The bathrooms were very clean. Water bottle fill stations are available. The TV screens provide a listing of all the departing trains, which makes it easy to stay informed and be prepared to board. Announcements are made over the speaker when to board. This is a quick process, so be ready and move to your cart swiftly. I appreciate that there are assigned seats on the Brightline. I like knowing where I am going and picking a seat in the direction the train is moving. Service on the train is quick and easy to order via QR codes. Perfect choice of transportation to and from Orlando to Miami.

Super easy to get to the train station with the metro mover, clean and good tracking of the train. Love the new food hall. Going through security is always a breeze and there's always friendly staff to help. Gift store and bar inside the terminal is a nice touch, especially is your train happens to get delayed.

I wished I used the train more than what I actually do. It is an underrated way to get around. I love how Brightline is transforming the train industry. All of their stations are state of the art stations, with a lot of light, spacious, modern, check-in simplicity, and easy to get through. All in all, you would never think this is a train station in America. Their latest addition, the Food Collective food hall at the second level of the Miami Central station, is not only a nice add to the station itself but also for this downtown area in general.

Absolutely love this! Clean, organized, helpful staff. Large and abundant waiting area with plugs. Food. And may I say the empanadas were divine. I'll be utilizing this to explore Florida in the future

First time here at this stop. IT was very nice. Clean wide open. They had ample security as well. A ton less walking to get out in comparison to the Orlando branch. They have a bar with some simple microwave foods as well.

The Metrorail comes in here but over the last thirty years as the City of Miami has evolved so has their central station. Years ago it was Government Center and I would connect to the metro mover. Now as Downtown has changed this truly is the main station. I come into here from Miami Airport to get to Downtown. Also it backs up into Brightline which is around the corner literally steps away. Lastly all the City buses come through here around the building there is a place a block up for the buses that go 595, in front of the building is buses going every ten minutes or so to the Golden Glades than a few steps from that at the side entrance to Metrorail is the 95 express buses. This place is literally a pu pu platter for all your transportation needs in and out of the City of Miami. I highly recommend it as parking is getting increasingly harder to find as well as expensive. You can get monthly passes which make it even more affordable if you come here daily as I do. Also across the way is a brand new Einstein's for a quick morning bite. It is very well lite in the area so don't let the name Overtown fool you it seems very safe. So far so good.

Like any big city, you do need to use your common sense when taking the train. Still and all, with the growth Miami has experienced in the last few years, it is certainly getting better. There are a nice amount of apartments, bars, restaurants and shops right next to the Brickell stop. The Brickell station also connects to the Metromover, which puts downtown and the Edgewater area a short ride and definitely cheaper than an rideshare. Walk a few blocks down the Underline Park under the tracks, and you're in the Coral Way / Roads area as well. Case in point, this last Friday night I was able to enjoy my Elite Experience Burger at Burgermeister (2 blocks away), run an errand on Coral Way and jump on the Metrorail (30 minute wait at that time) to the station closest my house and uber over. Glad to see this growth in multimodal transportation for our city.

It doesn't work well for those with heavy luggage and it's too expensive for families. After checking in, the app dumps you into your return trip, so you might not realize you're in the wrong seat because it defaults to the wrong QR code. It's also impossible to cancel your trip from the app. Once you're able to access it via Chrome, at best, you're refunded 15% of your ticket and that's just as more BL credit. Generally, I found both stations inaccessible and inefficient outside of the fact they have plugs on almost every chair. The Aventura station had hellishly loud music and required walking across a pedestrian bridge with escalators that were extremely small for a train that caters to people with luggage. Both directions they waited until 5-8 minutes before boarding to let everyone down to the platform (the number of which was an exciting surprise because they don't list it in writing anywhere but make an announcement on the loud speaker which could hamper those who are deaf or HOH) so it was a rush and would be difficult for slow walkers or people with a cane, walker, or injury. The top reason I would not personally recommend BL was the cell service - little to no cell service for the majority of the last leg of the trip. So I got to spend a surprise 2 hours in SOS/one bar mode with a screaming baby on my train. Although my trip back was better (no baby, full 4 seat area to myself, prepared and downloaded videos, train was mostly on time) I just don't see myself taking Brightline again. So what changes could they make? Well they could list the track number on the boards. Offer pre-board to those who need more time. They could have specific trains be direct from MIA/FLL to Orlando. They could have 21+/business cars and separate family cars with stroller parking, a changing table and a small child seat in the bathroom, as well as booster seats with seatbelts. Food could be ordered via the app (not a QR code). And finally they could make sure offboarding can take place from any car. All that being said, I preferred flying and don't see myself using them again.
