This was so easy to do global entry at this location while visiting Miami. Couldn't get an appointment in Houston for months so choose this location while traveling. Although it took me basically a year after applying to Global Entry to be granted the possibility of making an appointment, the actual appointment itself lasted less than 10 minutes so I was quite relieved as I was tight on time that day. Once you make your appointment, you'll receive an email with parking instructions and which terminal to walk through for access to the enrollment center. Some incoming international flights will allow you to do your interview without an appointment if you've already been conditionally approved yet the wait time can differ depending on the day and time you're landing. I do recommend taking that route if you wish to expedite your process after already being approved. They do take an ID picture the day of your appointment so make sure you look groomed and photo ready. It's a small black and white photo from the neck up so it doesn't matter what color you're wearing. Parking here is sometimes a hassle but you'll be in and out very quickly so that's your saving grace. I do recommend Global Entry for those who travel often and wish to avoid long lines in customs and passport control. read more

After reading all the reviews, I thought I would have a hard time finding the office but it was very easy. If you are getting dropped off, it is at the departures (level 2), door 32 (the second to the last door at the end). After you walk through door 32, you go straight and turn right. It is on the corner across from the Lufthansa counter. My son had an appt at 9:40am. We checked in at 9am and we were out the door by 9:30am. Flew out of MIA last week and Bam Im now TSA/ Global entry vertified!!! Not sure why I waited so long to complete this...it was a breeze, took 15min, they ask a few questions and your out! Fill out the application online ahead of time, it took me 6mths to get the notice for a appointment. You can actually use it the same day, I had no problems leaving and coming back in to MIA for Guadalupe. Remember most credit cards companies offer this for free every 5yrs. They are located on Terminal J. I used the free shuttle from my Aloft hotel, so parking was not a issue for me. Jus do it! read more

Ok, I must admit that I had a hard time finding this place. I applied for Global Entry last November since I was planning to do a lot of international traveling (DAMN YOU 2020!!) and my approval took about 2 weeks. The hubs is still waiting for his conditional approval. Once I got the approval I scheduled my interview in Miami rather than Fr Lauderdale. They had a ton of appointments. The office is located inside MIA. I parked way far so I had to walk the whole airport to get to it, but once I did, it took all of 5 minutes. I was asked a couple of questions, got my picture taken and off I went. Very easy process for me. Not to see if it is worth it. Everyone I have spoken to who has it says it is. read more

With family in the US and abroad signing up for GOES seems like a good idea especially when its free with an approved Visa credit card application with Chase's Sapphire Reserve card. Otherwise, GOES costs $100, $15 more than TSA Pre-check, and includes TSA Pre-check with the application. Having GOES approval allows you to go through domestic TSA Pre-check lines and US re-entry customs boarded lines, which saves time. The application is good for 5 years. US Customs and Boarders Protection agents handle your application. There is a mandatory interview at a GOES office and the application is a bit more involved (than TSA Pre-check) asking for address and employment history, which is a bit cumbersome. Once your online application is pre-approved, you need to go in for an interview. I chose to visit the GOES office in Miami airport which is correctly addressed in the J terminal which is in the South Terminal (not the North Terminal with American Airlines). You will need to park in Flamingo Parking lot, walk to the ground floor cross over to the J Terminal and take the elevator to the 2nd floor, then head down J until you are across from Lufthansa. Otherwise look for GOES signage. Parking was $6. The interview was pain free. I made an appointment at 8:30am in the morning and arrived 15 minutes early. I sat down for 1 minute before an agent saw me. I answered a few questions, had my fingers scanned, and that was it. Within 15 minutes I was on my back to work and had an email notifying me my membership was approved. Your Global Entry membership number is what you'll use when you book flights online which is also your Known Travel Number for TSA Pre-check. I really do hope I save a little more time traveling. Quick and easy process. Arrived 5 mins after my appointment time and they still took me. Unbeknownst to me, I parked on the farthest end of the Flamingo garage away from Concourse J Door 32 so I still had quite a walk. I went during a week day and the airport was very busy. I walked Conc. J on the 3rd floor which barely had any foot traffic then went down to the 2nd floor once I reached the end of the terminal. I advise you make an appointment or call ahead about walk-ins because when I was there in April 2022 they still weren't accepting walk-ins. read more

Wow! 5 years goes by fast! I came to this location for my interview to renew my Global Entry membership (there's plenty of info out there about what GE is, so I won't go into that here but if you have any questions about it, feel free to msg me). The schedule to make an appointment for an interview at this location was wide open, making it easy and convenient to get an appointment on the same day that I had a flight into MIA. I was about 10 mins late to my appointment because my flight landed at literally the entire other side of the airport (FYI it's about a 30 min walk from D60 to the GE office). However, a super friendly CBP officer took care of me right away and I was outta there in under 5 mins. read more

Not the easiest to find..park in flamingo. It is by entires 31 and 32 as others have pointed out. Have an appointment, wait until called, be prepared, and it is a quick process. If you have not done your due diligence and don't have everything ready, the process may not be so easy. I think I was there for maybe 15 minutes. I did everything online, made my appointment, showed up with my documents, and it was very painless. I highly recommend getting this done before international travel so you can avoid some of the lines and not worry about being stuck while changing planes or something like that. read more

Super fast and super friendly. The customs agents were all joking around with our group while getting us in, out and on our way. The entire process took less than 10 minutes. It's located in terminal J opposite of the Lufthansa counter, making the Flamingo garage the most convenient for a shorter walk. Parking was $4, that speaks to how quick the entire process is. Very quick seamless process. My appointment was at 11.. I went there 10:45 ish and within few minutes officer came by and was asking to make sure we are all checked in.. there were only 3 folks waiting. But I was called in pretty quick. Had my passport and driving license ready. Fingerprinted both hands 4 fingers and then both thumbs. Asked some questions from the application like past travels etc. Took my picture and gave brief overview of the global entry. Everyone there was nice and friendly! :) The location is in Concourse J.. When you enter for parking first you will see Dolphins Parking, which is North.. You might want to park in the Flamingo parking. which is South terminal, where Global Entry is.. I didn't realized but parked in the Dolphin and had to walk all the way.. But there were moving escalator. Once on Concourse J. Use the escalator to go down one level. The 'Global Entry' sign will be there and it's close to Lufthansa counter. read more

Got there a little early - like others say - park at flamingo parking and follow the signs .... easy to find. I was in and out in a matter of minutes with Global Entry taken care of. Parking was $6 bucks - paid $2 per 15 minutes. We had a 9pm appointment, but arrived around 820 and out the door by 845.... Elevator in parking garage was not working - had to go up to 3rd floor to crossover - no sign on first floor elevator advising of broken elevator....however was a sign in second floor. read more

The GPS is pretty accurate as to the location. It's all the way at the end of the departure terminal. Enter through door 31 Lufthansa, then make a left. Interview process was super easy and only lasted about 10 mins. Just have all your documents ready; including interview confirmation. It is located in terminal J of Miami Int'l airport. Had an appointment at 7:30, arrived at 7:05 and got right in. Found out this office takes walk-ins also. In and out very quickly. Only drawback is we parked in the first short term garage as we entered the airport, couldn't find any so went to next one. We had a mile walk to terminal J. Saw garages as exiting closer to J.
