My family and I stayed here 3 nights while visiting one of our favorite cities, Miami. The hotel is…read morelocated in a perfect spot for walking to bars and restaurants on Collins Avenue. Really easy beach access and access to the cobblestone walking area at the back of the hotel where you can ride a bike or walk. If you are an early bird, definitely recommend getting up early and utilizing the complimentary bike rentals. I believe you get 2 free hours which is more than enough time for an early morning ride. We rode our bikes to Starbucks, drank our coffee and then rode back. Again, try leaving early because the area gets really busy with walkers, runners, bikers and also people on rollerblades. One other thing to note is that we visited around July 4th. To view the multiple firework shows, grab a chair and walk along the beach. The pool area had great entertainment and games including bean bags and ping pong. The pool itself was not the largest pool but we were able to find a place to lounge each time. The pool was also heated which typically I would say was a plus but in July, it was a bit much at times. Great staff, very friendly and always smiling. Let's talk about the rooms. The rooms were above average in terms of design and cleanliness. The bathroom was an interesting one. Small. Too small. Made it hard to enjoy the shower or find places to put your stuff. The weird thing is that there were two closets. A large one specifically on the opposite wall of the bathroom. Why did they not use that space instead to make the bathroom bigger? No clue. As always be careful if you remove stuff from the fridges since you will get charged on your room bill. I have stayed at hotels such as Loews and Fontainebleau and this one is definitely a step below those hotels. Would I stay there again? Absolutely.

Let me start by saying we had a blast here! We've been here in the past, but this time we had an…read moreopportunity to have a balcony, ocean view pool suite, and I jumped on the opportunity. From the moment we arrived with check-in, getting our bags to our room, we were treated like true VIPs. Once we got to the room, we had time to change and head to the pool. The evenings were great as we were able to sit out on the balcony and relax, while at the same time being in the lobby or hitting the restaurant was always great. We took advantage of the on-site yoga classes and the beach every day while we were there. The beach area was nice, in the servers supporting the beach I felt did their best to accommodate all of the guests outside. If you're a frequent AMEX user, I would definitely recommend going through your AMEX as it really did just make a difference. The grounds were well kept the pool was clean. The staff was friendly and most importantly, we had an overall great experience. I would definitely recommend it for anybody coming to South Beach to come here, as it's centrally located and it's easily accessible to lots of other activities you may want to consider.

If being close to the beach is important. Stay here…read more If having no TV`s in any of the four bedroom is okay with you. Stay here. After hearing my friend admit that she`d paid $3000 for a four day, three night stay here, I realized that the real estate rental market on South Beach is a rip off. Our place was very clean, there were four bedrooms, two with queen beds and two with two twin beds each, and I think we were sufficiently supplied with towels, although I don`t really know since I knew going it there would be 8-10 of us sharing the space, so I took my own. The concierge (Sonny) that showed me up to the room was really nice, and the people that arrived before me told me that he had given them a tutorial on working the TV and speakers that were hooked up. Good thing he had, because even turning the TV off and on seemed to be a chore. The speakers piped through the entire unit, but thankfully each room allowed your to mute your speakers for some peace and quiet while everyone else continued to party. There was basically two living rooms and a fully stocked kitchen and that was it for rooms. I think our unit is advertised at 1700 sq feet. The owner even left us a bottle of wine and some other staples. Three bathrooms with an ample supply of hand soap, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner and while they weren`t the cleanest bathrooms I`d ever seen, they were clean enough to step in and out of with your shower shoes on. Free wifi. And it was pretty good wifi. There was an inventory check list along with a binder full of helpful tips about local businesses, rules of the property. The quiet hours are marked at 11pm - 6am, but overall I found the building to be pretty quiet throughout our stay, there is also a night security guard There is a restaurant directly in front of the building, and the outdoor tables were full any time I exited. There is a surf shop store also underneath the building on street level, which is a good place in Miami to stock up on souvenirs etc., the cheapest lighter they had was $2.50 and the shot glasses were $3.99 and up. They also had a good selection of Ray Bans and Oakelys. And some Miami t-shirts. I mostly avoided the store, because the first day I arrived, once I hopped out my uber, I was confused as to which of the three doors to enter to get to the concierge and asked the shop owner, and he looked at me and said he didn`t know and kept sweeping the sidewalk as if I wasn`t standing there. For sure, you know which door is the entrance to a condominium that you share real estate with. Not sure how the numbering of the unit goes, but we were on the third floor facing Ocean Drive and had it not been for the palm trees, we would have had a view of the ocean. Overall, I`d never pay $3000 to stay anywhere for four days but for the location aspect of it, your are right in the smack of Ocean Drive, so go for it, but I`m sure there are less expensive options that offer more bang for your buck. The unit was equipped with an X-box and some game and a few board games and a set of ping pong paddles. None of which we used. There was a washer dryer combo which made it helpful not to have to return home with wet swimsuits and the owners supplied us with a container of Tide pods. They also provided some beach towels and an umbrella. The info binder stated that there were some businesses directly across the street that rented beach chairs. The place was closed each time we went over to the beach. Within walking distance of multiple restaurants, Fat Tuesday, Wet Willies, TGIF and Haagen Daaz.

We were a group of 10 college friends and spouses in town to celebrate an anniversary. We went out for the afternoon on a 55' Azimut flybridge sport yacht and spent the afternoon cruising the beautiful waters around Miami and Miami Beach. Captain Carl was a seasoned veteran and took all the right steps to make this a wonderful day for our group. The ship also included a steward who took care of serving food and drinks and seeing to it that everyone was comfortable. We were in excellent hands with this crew! All the upfront arrangements were quick and easy and and everything came through exactly as promised. I definitely recommend Deanne, Captain Carl and crew and The Charter Agency. This was my second outing with them. I was a guest the first time and was excited about coming back to book my own cruise. I will happily use them again. Thanks Deanne!

I contacted Captain Matt about chartering a boat (or 2) for a bachelor party. He was incredibly…read moreresponsive and flexible and willing to work with me on price and timing. We had a bachelor party of 8 people and he suggested chartering two 4-person fishing vessels and having an open seas fishing competition. Payment and booking were handled quickly and professionally. He informed me that the boats can be catered, or we could provide our own food/beer. He still provided water and soda. Once the group split up we got right to it. Unfortunately one of the boats had a mechanical problem and had to come back to the dock where we quickly switched to another boat. While this is mildly frustrating, there the boat crew handled it well and apologized profusely. Once on the water, the crews on both boats gave solid lessons on what types of lines we were using, how deep the casting lines went, and advice on how to best secure a catch. The entire crew also offered interesting tidbits about the types/temperature/depth of waters that we were fishing in. Since we were all novice fisherman, the crew was very patient. All of the boats were clean and the inside area was air-conditioned and spacious enough for 4-5 people. The groom to be was very happy about the experience and Captain Matt and the rest of the crew were very fun to work with. I highly recommend this as a regular or bachelor party activity (be sure to take Dramamine the night before as the seas gets rough)

WARNING: THE PICTURES THEY POST ON THEIR WEBSITES ARE OUTDATED!!!…read more Rented a townhouse through this company and it was a SHIT HOLE! Yes, the place was located on Ocean Drive but for the EXPENSIVE PRICE, it was totally NOT WORTH IT! - the FLOOR WAS FILTHY, it's like fckin slumdog millionaire up in that shack! - closet doors were FALLING OFF THE RAILS - including the privacy door for the 3rd bedroom. Did a fckin HURRICANE go through this townhouse???? - there was NO DISHWASHER SOAP, so a lot of the dishes and glasses were DIRTY and had a FILM. - the SHEETS were DISGUSTING, they were COVERED WITH STAINS (See Pic)!!! - the 'WHITE' bath mat in the bathroom was now GRAY with YELLOWISH SPOTS! Time to hit up Target for a new mat, MICHAEL SUMMERS (the manager that NEVER RESPONDED to the emails/calls)! - there were extra pillows, but NO PILLOW CASES. PILLOWS were covered in some SECRETION you don't want to know about (See Pic). - there is a MISSING DOOR on the downstairs SHOWER, not in a swanky boutique hotel kind of style but in a "GHETTO, YOU NEED TO FIX THE SHOWER DOOR ahole" kind of style! - CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRENDOUS! Called AND emailed for soap, garbage bags and to follow up on the extra key and NO ONE RESPONDED. - CINDY, (putting her on blast for NOT SHOWING UP) said she'd bring by the spare key, so WAITED AROUND FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS before giving up and going out. She NEVER SHOWED UP! Someone needs to take a class in PROFESSIONALISM....oh and yeah, BRING Michael Summers with you! - they ADVERTISED the place slept 10 but failed to mention that 2 WOULD SLEEP IN AN AIR BED!!! Nice advertising, Michael Summers! Anyways, there are plenty of options in Miami, AVOID South Beach Vacation Rentals like the PLAGUE!
