What a great hotel. Me and my 9 yr old son stayed there last weekend for 3 days. 1 Br Suite had a huge refrigerator, washer / dryer and a full kitchen. Excelent location and staff very friendly. Free valet parking was included in the price and when I requested my SUV it was ready in less than 5 min. If any one from the staff see this, can you please let me know the brand name of the shampoo and conditioner that was in the dispenser. I really liked it. Thanks! read more

This is not a hotel it's a motel. They advertise as free parking and there is none. When I went to my room there was no electricity. This hotel is a scam and the google reviews are fake and breakfast as well. One of the worst breakfast I've ever ate. They use so much bad quality food that it would make you sick!! read more

Definitely my experience was the worst at Nuvo. The management sucks. Roberto the person in charge of the pool is totally unpleasant, he plays Bad bunny all the time at the pool bar even when you requested not to do so. Not nice at all, for that reason I never wanted to go back at the pool. Some neighbors are despicable like the neighbor at the apt R-709 Kelly Montes that happened to be an insane neighbor that needed to be thrown out of thrown building long time ago. Awful experience1. I recommend never rent rooms or apartments at this location that is very expensive. read more

The whole staff is great, front desk, valet, room service and maintenance even. The building and our room seems to be clean. The furniture is like ikea rejects. Not a comfortable room all in all. The pool closes early. The bar hours are short and closes early. It would be nice to hang out somewhere other than an uncomfortable room. read more

What a great hotel. I was so anxious leaving my little safe haven of Key West , coming to Miami. I was literally about to have a panic attack. I pulled up to Novu , the front desk guy,Robert, immediately put me at ease, met me at valet , he and the valet person, extremely courteous, showed me to my room which was spacious and very modern, so far , a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Nuvo.. read more

If you have disability this is not for you or has a child. When checking in lady question me about handicap and disability to point I ask her would she like to see my handicap sticker or talk with my doctor. Fast forward my child pee little on bed i ask for new blanket. I also ask for a mop to clean up. They send me no mop lady gave me two old dirty towel and told me to use my hands and feet. No mop or broom. When checking out they send me a 250 bill on top of my 100 dollar hold for clean up fees. Told me they have to mop the floor and bedding. I then told them I told about the handicap and ask for mop which was never given. They then told me to dispute and hung-up. Remind you the room was not damage nothing was broken . 350 to mop and wash a blanket is too much. Customer service was terrible, will never go there again. read more

BED BUGS!!! BED BUGS!!! I stayed at Nuvo Suites in December 2019 for 3 days. Come to find out they are on the Bed Bug Registry!! My stay in the hotel has caused me a nightmare. I'm dealing with bed bugs thanks to this hotel. The bed bugs got in my suitcase and followed me home. I have tried to contact the manager for 2 weeks now and neither one of the Jose's have returned my phone calls. I had to pay thousands of dollars for my entire home to be exterminated and all of my belongings have either been thrown away or are in trash bags to suffocate the bugs. DONT STAY HERE! Nuvo Suites does not return phone calls when there is a problem. Everyone there should be fired. BEWARE!!! Bed Bug Registry link https://www.bedbugreports.com/details/558428 read more

This review it toward their customer service. In April 2022 I had a trip booked and planned to Miami. I booked through Expedia and even insured the trip. When I got to the airport my flights to Florida were canceled with no explanation. Not knowing what was going on in Florida or why they were canceling flights, I decided to cancel the trip. I received a refund for my flights, but the Nuvo hotel refused to refund my room because I "supposedly" no called/no showed. As soon as my flights were canceled I called Expedia and an agent handled everything. I waited on the phone as she attempted several times to contact the Nuvo hotel. They did not answer the phone nor call Expedia or myself back. They cheated me out of $700. This set me way back financially and I fought with them for months just for them to say "oh well you should have booked with us directly and then we would have helped you". I'm writing this review because I continue to receive promotional emails from them stating how thankful they are to me even after I've hit unsubscribe. read more

Our experience for three days was great. Front desk and bar staff were welcoming and warm. Room was impeccably clean and had a beautiful pool area complete with bar and two large screen TVs. Room had fully equipped kitchen with bowls, plates. X pots, silverware, and wine glasses. At pool All chairs cushioned and comfortable and they allow smoking which was great for my husband who loves cigars. We were rained out every day here but they had karaoke and live dj planned. Only Negative is water doesn't get hot in tub, only warm and there is nothing to do in Doral so you drive 25 minutes to coral gables or elsewhere every day. Other than that it was great. read more

I have to say that my stay was quite poor. First of all Upon arrival I was sent to the south tower the 7th floor. The smell on the floor was outrageous. It smelled like fried fish. I did report this to the front desk and they move me to the north tower. Then the power went out and no accommodations were made for my comfort during that period of time. I know this is a situation that was out of control of the hotel. Then, During the evening after the power came back on there was a commotion in the hall with people yelling and screaming. This went on for quite some period of time, about an hour! It was frightening. The next morning I spoke to the front desk. It was a young man. I believe his name was Juan or Jesse. I told him what happened and he said To me why didn't I come to the front desk.? Well to be quite frank I was fearful for my life. I asked him to report this to the manager and apparently he did not. As a result of this in activity and poor customer relationship I will be making a report to TripAdvisor, yelp and Google to report how horrible my experience was at your hotel and no accommodation was made to adjudicate this problem read more

Great suites! We can't say enough good things about the staff here, though, especially the front desk folks. What we really like about the hotel: 1. great staff 2. very clean hotel 3. suites with washer / dryer / kitchen 4. very good free breakfast 5. location near Dolphin Mall, which is a fantastic shopping mecca. We used hoteltonight to book a very good rate (code tofoster6 ) but were given a basic hotel room, when what we really needed was a suite. The front desk very generously allowed us to upgrade to one which had a full washer dryer, spare sitting room with couch, tv, and kitchen, and full walk-in closet. They even found a rubber ducky for my 7 month daughter to play with in her bath. We used this hotel as a recharge between key west and miami beach, where we were able to get our things cleaned up and cook the last of the fish we caught a few days earlier. They provide in their kitchen all the tools you need to make dinner for your family and so if you're doing a shopping in miami trip i recommend this hotel ahead of other ones, because traffic is nasty around the mall so it is nice to be close. read more

My wife and I booked a room at Nuevo suites in Miami for NYE 2019. We had a guaranteed reservation. At check in they advised us the hotel had been oversold. They offered no help in rebooking, and kicked my family out into the streets of Miami without a care. Avoid this hotel at all costs. read more

Management came through and gave us a hefty discount. Also cleaned our room like no other and gave us chocolate and wine. That alone they deserve to have 5 Stars. Not only was there a roach in the bathroom, the front desk guy working night shift checked me in and handed me a key, then came around the desk to take it back and say here is the right key. The room looked horrible. Smelly, dirty, hair on floor. Went downstairs, he refused to move me. I was moved the next morning, there is where I saw the roach in the bathroom. Asked for towels night before because the ones I had, had actual dirt on them. A disgusting experience. When I asked front desk at 9:13am on Tuesday if they wanted to hear about the experience..her immediate response was, "We move you." So instead of hearing about it, without getting a review, you chose to shut me up in your face. Would never stay again. read more

I will let the attached photos speak for themselves. Maybe we got a tough room but it was very uncomfortable. We were there for a few days to visit a sick family member and we roughed it out so as not to waste time and energy. The towels are paper thin and very small (hand towels) Holes in the curtains, poorly designed and maintained. Would not recommend this place unless you have absolutely no other options. Staff was friendly when engages thus the second star... line was way too long to get any of the breakfast as the space was inadequate for the volume so not sure how the food tasted. Stay away if you can. read more

I reserved rooms for March 26-28th on June 24th, 2021 through a commonly used and well known 3rd party booking site. I booked my room about the same time as a very large group I was traveling with began booking their rooms (80+ rooms). After several people in the group booked at the currently published rate, the rate doubled on their direct book site, but not the 3rd party sites. We all continued to book our rooms either directly, or through 3rd party sites. Today, March 22, 2022, four days before check in, all of us who booked with 3rd party sites at the original rate were informed our reservations were cancelled. When I contacted the property directly they told me that there was a "problem" on site and they had to cancel some bookings and that I should contact my 3rd party site for alternatives. I then contacted the 3rd party site and they had no idea my reservation had been cancelled. They reached out to the property and were told that they had double booked their property and needed to cancel. Out of our entire group who booked, only those who booked through 3rd party sites had their reservations cancelled. Never mind the fact that my room was reserved, and paid for in June but people who booked months later directly still have their reservations, but everyone who called was given a different story, as though they didn't expect us to communicate. Horrible business practice, horrible customer service. I guess I can't even comment on the state of the property. And when I reached out for my refund they told me I needed to EMAIL them my credit card information. I told them I would not be sending such information through an unsecured email and that they needed to handle my refund over the phone. Once I said this, they recited my credit card information back to me and issued the refund. If they already had that info, why did I need to send it in an email? Very sketchy all around and I would not trust them. read more

I had a large suite and I enjoyed it. Unfortunately the Grill on the roof top was under construction, but the hotel is beautiful.

STAY AWAY FORM THIS PLACE! This has been the worst place I have ever stayed at. It is not what it seems. First, there is no self parking only valet at $18/day. I had a visitor for 1hr and she too was charged the $18. The front desk man was so rude! The lobby is the nicest part of the hotel. However, the rest of this property is ran down, Carpets, walls are filthy. Shower had very minimal water coming out. You get woken up with loud Spanish music and loud conversations that can be heard through the walls. This place also has long term resident living there. If you look outside through the bedroom window you'll definitely feel like your in prison. If you must start at this disgusting property place DO NOT STAY IN ROOM L806B!!!!!!!!!! Some demonic things have happened in that room. My self and my sister felt the same thing at night. We were not able to sleep at night due to this. We asked the grumpy old man at the lobby to please change our room and he did not help at all. I had booked for 7miserable days. Besides paying for the 7 days I was charged another $150 for their only option parking which was Valet parking. Do not waste your money on this filthy place. read more

My Stepfather passed away and I had to cancel my trip to Miami. I gave advance notice and offered to provide the funeral home information. They refused to cancel my reservation and charged me for the stay. I called the hotel directly and they reffered me to Booking.com. Booking.com said it was up to the discretion of the hotel. So not only did I get a runaround, but they were not understanding of the unfortunate circumstances surrounding my need to cancel. read more

Don't stay at this hotel unless you absolutely have to. My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a wedding this week. We stayed for 4 days and our room was not cleaned at all, not even once. There was no sign to even put on the door. So we asked the staff if we can get the room serviced and they told us it will be serviced at 6. Well we came back after 6 and nobody ever came. Also we were charged an extra night without consent! We demanded that they return the money that they charged our card and they said it can take up to 10 days to go back on the card! This hotel has awful costumer service. And I do speak a little Spanish but I'm not fluent and unfortunately most of the staff here are not fluent in English. I rated NUVO 2 stars, one star for the room that was decent and one star for the continental breakfast which was pretty good. read more

I really liked this hotel. Idk why it got 3 stars but it's really fun. Their pool is nice. Gym is small but it's decent. The pool bar is good but expensive. Our rooms were good. Had a kitchen with utensils ready to go. Breakfast was decent too. Staff was friendly. The only thing is you're far from Miami Florida and the fun things. It's a nice hotel in the middle of a suburbs area. So if you're looking for regular stores/restaurants than they have it. So you do have to drive 20-30+ to go somewhere else. I would recommend this place. read more

From the evening of March 19-22nd we stayed in room 709A, On the 20th, the toilet wasn't flushing it was clogged. I called the front desk explained what was happening and a maintenance man came about 20 minutes later with a plunger. Later that evening again the toilet was clogged. The maintenance man came 30 minutes later with a snake this time and unclogged it. On the 21st same problem, I couldn't believe it! I called the front desk and she told me there is no emergency maintenance man, so she couldn't change my room because they were booked, however she gave me a key to a room in the opposite building we were staying in to use the bathroom there (keep in mind there are no rooms available). I spoke to Sabrina from the front desk and she gave me the managers name Lourdes Martinez email because she wasn't available. I am still waiting for a response from this manager. This was very inconvenient and unpleasant stay in this hotel, and I'm going to make sure to get a refund. If any of you book third party or directly to the hotel, save yourself from this place. please don't stay in this hotel. read more
