The Brunch was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel buffet style. The selection of what to eat was pretty good. The best part was once you get on the boat. When you get one they give your Valentine a rose and some chocolate, which was a nice touch. They also had Mimosas during your trip around the Miami Skyline. Now I will say this I which the music on the boat would've been better suited for Valentine's Day. They played more of the Electric/ Techno music but it was still a vibe so can't complain to much about it. Will definitely try to come back on other day. I was a nice experience.

Let me start by saying that I love that this service started from Miami Beach to Downtown and vice…read moreversa, it is GREAT to finally have a ferry, so I am very pleased about it and the ride is beautiful Yesterday I took it for the first time, the boat is great, very comfortable, just perfect, but a few things need improving, I hope that with time things can get better, first of all the slope getting on the boat from Miami Beach is very steep, I have an ankle brace and it was not easy to get on the boat, it is not disabled friendly, then the website, there should not be a service fee to buy tickets on the website, this saves time for the personnel on the boat selling tickets, why a service fee? Also, I could not find anywhere the $3 commuter tickets or packages, I have seen ads from you where you advertise that but, I could not find these anywhere on the website and then, most important of all the delay, we were there 15 minutes before departure as requested and nobody was there, at 6 pm the time the ferry was supposed to leave nobody there, no ferry, no personnel, so I called and they told me the ferry was 15/20 minutes late, I told the guy it would have been good if they texted the people that purchased the tickets online given they have all our details, he said it was posted on the website...............so, who goes back on the website once you have purchased the tickets? You should implement an automatic text alert for the customers that purchased the tickets informing them of the delay, so at 6.15 pm I did receive a text, this was 15 minutes from the original departure time, the alerts should be sent 15 minutes before departure or even earlier if you know there are delays, but ok, room for improvement, the problem is that we only left at 6.40 pm........ 40 minutes late; if you are planning to have commuters using this service you need to make sure that the ferry leaves on time otherwise you will never get this part of business, people need to arrive on time at work and if they are relying on the transportation you provide, you should really make sure to be on time, 5 minutes late it is fine but 40 minutes late it is definitely not. One more thing, you advertise that the crossing takes 20 minutes, yesterday by the time you leave and the time you get there and get off the ferry, it took 40 minutes, I think this is an important information especially for commuters that need to know the right time, if it is like that all the time, maybe you should specify it, I don't mind the 40 minutes but if I had to go to work I would want to know. Overall I love the service but you need to improve the service and if you expand to other places, I saw on the website that you will be going to Coconut Grove in the future, I will for sure use it but please get better so next time I can give you a 5 star @poseidonferry

Downtown

I booked the Miami on the Water sunset boat ride by Fiesta Cruises…read more It was a really nice experience and well worth the $35 per person. We went around the mansions and islands of Biscayne Bay for about 90 minutes as the sun set. The tour guide was informative while keeping things light and fun, and the DJ added to the atmosphere by timing songs from artists like Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, and Ricky Martin as we passed their homes. There were plenty of photo opportunities, and although the boat was on the smaller side, it didn't feel crowded. The top and front were open-air, with covered seating downstairs. Approaching the lit-up Miami skyline at the end of the ride was a highlight. The boat had a bar with reasonably priced drinks ($5 beers and $10 cocktails) and snacks available for purchase. The only downside was unclear check-in instructions. The email said the booth was inside Bayside Marketplace behind Chili's on the second floor. Right across from Chili's is a storefront for a different tour operator, and downstairs there are at least ten other booths with similar names, which made it confusing. After asking around, we learned the Fiesta Cruises booth was actually outside on the dock--you have to walk through the Tasca Paella restaurant to reach it. Once we found it, check-in and boarding were smooth. Parking at the garage can also be challenging, especially on weekend evenings or during events. My tour coincided with a Miami Heat game next door, which made traffic and parking more difficult and expensive (a $57 flat event rate). The company did send a warning email recommending public transit or rideshare. Even arriving an hour early, it still took about 40 minutes to park and locate the check-in booth.

We live in Miami, but wanted to bring some friends in town for New Year's on a boat cruise to see the cruise port/downtown Miami area and the value for $70-80/per person was really great for a 2 hour cruise! Ask to be dropped off at the main parking/taxi area and walk straight back to the boat docks and you'll see a red umbrella for the Fiesta Cruises booth and they'll check you in for your reservation or sell you tickets if you don't have them. All staff were so warm and welcoming and we were shown right on the boat and got drinks from the time we arrived and the bar staff had a great selection of drinks and were all so warm and friendly. The captain and staff all were warm and welcome and had a great personality and were all knowledgable and had a great tour of the Miami area. The tour was truly outstanding and is a great tour for Miami locals and anyone visiting the Miami area from out of town!

Above & Beyond Service - Thank You, Captain Patrick!…read more We're staying at the beautiful Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel and decided to head over to Las Olas Boulevard for dinner. On the way back, we chose to try the Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi--and it ended up being one of the best decisions of our trip. It was an easy walk to the stop, followed by a gorgeous boat ride through the canals, and we were dropped off right in front of our hotel. Everything about the experience was seamless... until I realized I had left my purse on the boat. Panic set in immediately. I scrambled to find the Water Taxi phone number, fully expecting to leave a message and hope for the best. Instead, after a quick recording, I was given the option to speak to a supervisor--and to my surprise, a real person picked up. That person was Captain Patrick--and he was absolutely incredible. Calm, reassuring, and immediately proactive, he asked which boat I had been on and then called the captain directly while I was still on the phone. Within seconds, he confirmed they had found my purse. Without hesitation, he coordinated a handoff to the next water taxi heading back toward my stop. Not even 10 minutes later, the boat arrived--and my purse was safely back in my hands. I truly could not have asked for a better outcome to a situation I completely created myself. The level of care, urgency, and professionalism Captain Patrick showed was beyond anything I expected. He turned a stressful moment into a story I'll actually be grateful for. The Water Taxi is already a fun and unique way to experience Fort Lauderdale--but it's the people like Captain Patrick who make it exceptional. Highly, highly recommend!

Got a day to waste? Take the water taxi!…read more Took the taxi to get to one restaurant. Just one. Left at 11am. Didn't get back to my point of origination until 5pm. It was an OUTRAGEOUS waste of time waiting for this taxi, then that taxi, not knowing when the next taxi would appear. One taxi was pulling up to the restaurant where I had been waiting for an hour. Finally! I thought. Nope, suddenly the 'captain' changed his mind and left me standing there dumbfounded. Had to wait another hour for another boat. That's TWO hours of waiting outside after completing my meal. Gross lack of coordination between boats. Passengers were confused on which boat to jump on; it's three different routes. Boats are not marked as to which is going where. The boats move as slow as molasses, too. The good? The staff were nice and gave tour information as you crept along. Other than that, save your TIME and money and take a taxi on wheels, instead. You just want to get where you're going. Who has time to waste like that?!?
