Who are you??? I booked a bus with my parents that had NO AC working, even the driver was complaining and made a stop to call the mechanic or to change buses. No solution, so all the riders had to deal with 3 hours of no AC, and it was about 90 degrees Fahrenheit that day. My dad is a senior with a medical condition, so we couldn't continue on this bus with the heat. Therefore, I had to pay for an alternative route from there. This day was the worst for all of us. Yet, I had called beforehand to confirm if y'all do additional payment vouchers for these types of situations, and you said yes. I filled out BOTH forms for a refund request AND an additional payment reimbursement. I waited a week and called to check the status. The lady on the phone pretends she doesn't comprehend me and is giving me a robotic, dead-end talk. So I asked to speak with the supervisor, and the lady made excuses/refuses for me speak with them. So I filled out the forms again, and the same thing - acting like y'all dont see my forms. So since y'all aren't helping me, I called my bank to cancel the charge. You have NO customer service email, which is super suspicious. I have receipts for everything. And now you are declining my request to cancel the booking charge?? Yeah, I see the game I'm in now. Y'all are greedy, lying, and DISGUSTING for not considering health and safety for the elderly. Shameful AF. Y'all breached the policy, and legal action will be taken. I'm standing at the Greyhound bus terminal in Miami for a 5pm bus to Naples. It is now 6:30 and no bus. The agent here is completely inept and isn't acting responsibly and updating us. There are at least 20 people, most of them Hispanic, Latino and Black. I am Asian--is this how Greyhound serves people of color? My suggestion--take another form of transportation! read more

My mother in law lives in Key West and we drive regularly over there to see her but sometimes she comes to Miami on the Greyhound bus to visit, she can drive and has her own car but it's more comfortable to use shuttle services for long drives and we also feel safer having her being driven by Greyhound. We always drop her off and pick her up from the Miami airport station and have never experienced a delay on the departure and arrival times. Sometimes we have arrived at the station to buy the tickets and have waited 5-10 minutes for someone to show up to the counter but have never received awful or disrespectful service, so overall I think the shuttle service is great but customer service is just ok. read more

My father took this service from Miami to Indiana 2/19/2023 It was an nightmare. South Carolina, he waited 10 hours to get another bus, the fact there is nothing to eat at the terminal. They treated people worst than animal. The new driver was supposed to stop at McDonald's, but he was so sorry to get at the terminal on time that he "passed" the stop. Hopefully, the next bus stopped at gas station and my father was able to eat something before he was able to take his medication. This is unacceptable at all to treat people like that. A nightmare experience. I have been traveling all over the world, 30+ countries and I have never had such a bad experience with a transportation company. My first experience was with the Miami airport Greyhound. I booked ahead of time, arrived 10 minutes early, and watched the driver drive right past me and out on my way in. At the ticket counter I asked the ticket guy why it left early and if he could call the driver to get me since he was less than a minute away. The ticket guy was incredibly mean, told me it was my fault I missed it and there was nothing he could do and kept shooing me away with his hands. I dropped $100 on an Uber to get to my destination. After calling and emailing customer service, they gave me a voucher. I decided to use it on my way back from Key Largo. I got there an hour early this time just in case. The bus never came. After an hour and a half of waiting, I called customer service and was told it was already gone and there was nothing they could do about it. An email yielded nothing. I took the $150 Uber back. I am now disputing it with my credit card to get my money back. Seriously. Listen to all of the bad reviews. Go with literally anyone else. read more

On Jan 6th we were supposed to take a bus from Atlantic City at 10.08 am to New York. I bought the tickets, got the confirmation email, in which it said that the departing station was Atlantic City Casinos, and when I clicked on it, it directed me to the maps app and it showed the address 1133 Boardwalk ave. So, we took an uber to that address. It was a boardwalk indeed, so no vehicles were allowed there... so how could a bus stop there? We are not locals, so we didn't know the lace at all, and we just spent the night at Atlantic City so we could go to NY. The place was a desert, there were no shops open and nobody to ask if they knew were the bus stopped, It was 9.30 at this point. We are not locals, so we had no idea where to go. We walked a few blocks and found a few people but they had no idea. So I called Greyhound Customer Service to ask for the bus stop address. The first rep gave me the address 1901 atlantic ave, but I got it wrong, so I had to call again to confirm. The second rep corrected the address, 1901 atlantic ave (that is the address for the bus station) ok, perfect, we were like 10 blocks away, by this time it was like 9.50 am, so we took an uber to the bus station. We got to the station and just in case, I asked the guy that sells tickets there if he knew where Greyhound buses stopped. He told that from October 31st Greyhound wasn't operating there anymore. At this point I'm already super upset and frustrated, we are a party of 5, with a child, all our bags, stroller and everything running in circles around Atlantic City. So I called again to customer service. I asked the reps if they had another address, she kept telling me 1901 Atlantic ave, I told her I was there and that it is no longer a bus stop, so she told me to go to 1133 boardwalk ave....the address that was a boardwalk and no vehicles were allowed.... she kept looking for another address, in the meantime a local told me to go to Ceasars Palace, we walked there, the rep on the phone didn't have any other address, and no way to get in touch with somebody to tell the driver that we were looking for the bus stop, so she just asked, is there anything else I could do for you today? After getting no help at all, and running to the Caesars Palace, the guys at the Valet parking showed me where the bus stop was. We got there at 10.11 am. There was no bus. I called again, already in tears and defeated. The rep told me we lost the bus. We had tickets already bought for activities in NY at 2.45 pm. They offered me to reschedule at 2.30 pm. I refused, cause we needed to be earlier in NY. At this point my frustration levels were atop. I asked for a refund, cause that time wouldn't work for us. She told me that I had to request the refund online. So I did. Today, Jan 16th I got an email saying that as I didn't pay for the refundable ticket, I had no right to get a refund. read more

The staff here is extremely rude. They bark orders and have ZERO customer service skills. At least this station is newer and had vending machines and working bathrooms. People are rude and take all the seats for their feet or bags. So plan to stand. They have awful line system for "gates" but then people just do whatever they want so you waited in line for nothing, but they'll pick and choose who they scream at. read more

Based on previous reviews here, I am glad I have not had to deal with the desk employees.The office seems to be a relatively new construction, but the inside looks pretty well-worn. As I am a frequent rider of Megabus which stops at the same area of the Miami Intermodal Center- the greyhound bus line is nothing more than 2 vending machines, not enough chairs, a dilapidated bathroom all with a general air of sadness and traveler's fatigue. I imagine there is supposed to be a unified office for the bus terminal, but it seems greyhound has taken over the office, and is doing a poor job of managing. Little seating and lack of information. The bathroom is usually dirty, and has stall which don't lock or close. In general there is a lack of seating around the bus port, and the roof covering is so high above the ground, rain often slants in, so you'll have no choice but to go hide in the office read more

Worst station known to man, I arrived at 4:00 pm to ship One simple package via greyhound. Instead , I found no one at the front desk. After walking around for a while I spotted the agent just sitting behind the locked the doors of the office. I asked her why there was no one to help send off a package and she stated that the next person was running late for their shift. I thought it was weird she was refusing to help me even though they were having a scheduling issue so I left to get some food and came back an hour later. She was still sitting in the same spot when I came back and again stated she wasn't going to do any work. There was a bus driver standing around with packages on the bus waiting for the said person to arrive - they never even took those packages off the bus and the driver said she was just going to go park the bus "at the garage". After 1hr and 30 mins of waiting I left completely unsatisfied and upset with no one even making an effort to help me. Totally unprofessional and waste of my time to drive 30 mins from Homestead. Please get better scheduling in place or instructions on how to handle things when an employee is late because this is RIDICULOUS. read more

Tears, screaming and open hostility to coworkers were to be found at the new Miami Greyhound station at Miami Central Station. While the facilities are new (and thus relatively clean), someone decided to make the station much too small to handle multiple departures, making it extremely difficult to organize the chaos. Thankfully there was a staff member whose sole job appeared to be sorting the crowds to the correct location: nothing would be possible without her. The lack of sufficient staffing also makes checking baggage a real pain, so show up early. (We couldn't check ours in time but thankfully the baggage carrier let it slide, or else the driver might have laughed while pulling out without us. While the website has finally updated with the correct address, trying to figure out where to board before then was a nightmare. The outsourced customer service line was more clueless than me, and multiple calls to the station went unanswered. We honestly just showed up hoping it would be right and lucked out. The trip to Key West really wasn't too bad, but since the station is connected to the Airport mover station, it is baffling why the first stop is still at the terminal. This makes it also very confusing to book tickets considering that the Miami station is practically at the airport. These are all easy fixes that could have made riding Greyhound nice again, but no one from Greyhound corporate seems to care. The new station was truly a missed opportunity. This does not even deserve 1 start. We had a horrible experience going to and from key west. On our way back to Miami the bus was canceled due to weather which is understandable, but the next day when it was running again, they decided to make a 2 hour delay. There was no staff at the station therefore we had to wait in the HOT summer sun for hours with our service dog. (No water/ bathroom available). The worker that was there had the doors all locked and finally let me in to use the restroom. He was extremely rude and yelled at me to hurry Up "I'm leaving!". That's a great way to treat customers who spend their money on your company. Then when the bus finally shows up earlier than the delay, the bus driver started screaming at me about my luggage. Since the bus wasn't scheduled to leave for another 10 minutes I asked if I had tome to fix my ticket to accommodate the luggage. He said no and at this point walked away and gave me the hand He then proceeded to take off on the bus early & has my main luggage bag aboard. "We asked please wait I need my bag!" He spend out. He THEN dumped my bag at the Miami international airport to get rid of it. The airport security found it and contacted us about lost luggage when we were STILL IN KEY WEST. We were lucky to retrieve all our belongings. The manager at the station was nice when I went in to file a formal complaint but nothing has been done about this matter. All of my essentials were in that bag the driver dumped, including essentials for my service dog. Staff are very rude...Claim to make announcements that the buses are leaving, but they definitely do not. They are very defensive as soon as they can see you are upset, and the customer service phone line is exactly the same. I was made to feel that their mistakes were my own, and basically yelled at for it. Very dense, inhospitable employees. When booking online, there is a glitch on their site that autofills and changes the name of the passenger (to the one originally typed) to the credit card holder's name (when different), resulting in an obvious problem for the traveller. I realized immediately after I booked and called the ticketing number right away to switch the name. They told me in order to do that, they'd first need to cancel my ticket and then book another... only problem was that the bus was already sold out and they could not perform the switch. They offered for me to take a later bus, which didn't work for my schedule, so I asked for a refund. They refused, because it was a "non-refundable" ticket. I asked to speak with a supervisor and waited on hold for almost half an hour, and was subsequently denied a refund. I was told they are only the ticketing office and to request a refund, I need to submit an online request. They do not have a phone number for customer care. Three days later, I got an email back denying my refund. BUT... I showed them! I filed a complaint on them with my credit card company and disputed the charge for services not rendered. Now, just doing my part to let others know they should stay away from companies with lousy customer support. You're welcome!! Hope I saved someone else the trouble. read more

My bus was from ft lauderdale to Tampa and the bus was a hour and a half late. I was supposed to leave at 12:01 and right now it is 1:49 and the bus just picked everyone up. Now that we're on the bus the phone charger plugs don't work at all in the bus. $40 I spent for this ticket when I could have just done the mega bus and not have to be stressed over any of this. If it was possible to give zero stars I would. I had a bus scheduled at 6:10 so naturally arrived about 30 minutes prior to scheduled time, however I spent about 3 hours there only to discover that I would have to wait another three hours for the nest bus. I did not receive any alerts via text message, phone call, or email that there would be any delays nor did they announce anything at the station. The staff said the they did not have any information from grey hound to share with us however they knew that driver that was scheduled to take us was over hours and could drive. I went home for the weekend from college and the bus was 1 hour and 30 minutes late to pick me up from St. Augustine to go to Miami. And was late again, more than 2 hours from Miami back to St. Augustine. The whole process is a mess, they're all very unorganized. You don't know what's going on most of the time. They have a bus tracker on their website, but they don't let you know beforehand if your bus is going to be late. You have no choice but to make the trip to the bus station to then be told there's a delay. These people have no consideration for your time. Very disappointed. Will never be taking Greyhound buses again - not even if they paid me themselves. DON'T DO IT! Update: they have also lost my bag that I checked in under the bus. One of the worst experiences in my life In the first place they charged me a Fee of $15 or something because I wasn't using my own debit card to pay the ticket, however, I needed to take the bus and go from Orlando to Miami and that was the only bus that had the schedule that I needed. Beginning with a really dirty station in Orlando I was going to take the bus that was supposed to depart at 12:01am. The bus didn't departed until 12:45am, then two hours later when we were passing by Fort Pierce the driver parks the bus and says that she is very sick and she can't drive anymore, everyone can get sick,of course, but as the person responsible for that trip she should've communicated us how were they going to solve that problem, immediately I called customer service, it was already 3:30am and our arrival time to Miami was supposed to be at 4:30, I waited until someone responded I explain the situation and the comforting information that the person told me was that the complaints department opened at 5:30am and to please call after that time, I was just so tired that I just waited and finally at 4:30am another bus came, the official arrival date to Miami was at 8:00AM I was one hour late for work thanks to its incompetent services. My wife, son and i had the worst vacation of our lives thanks to Greyhound. This was our first bus trip in our lives and will sure be our last one. We departed on July 22, 2016 and our bus was broke down for 3 1/2 hrs due to the brake fluid leaking. Most of the 3 1/2 hr delay was due to waiting for the repairman to arrive. They offered us no consolation to being stranded there. No food, water or anything was offered, or even an apology. Also we had no a/c due to the bus being stopped. It is very hot here in Florida in July! After the brake fluid leak was finally repaired, the battery was completely dead and needed to be jump started by another Greyhound bus. Then I told my wife and son, surely the rest of this trip would have to be better and things will probably be ok, at least that is what I had hoped! I was so wrong, when we finally got to Tampa we thought this is great, we are the first in line for our bus to go from Tampa to Orlando. This is where the real problems began when I gave him the e-ticket, he said what are you trying to pull, what are your trying to do? I said we are trying to go to Orlando! Then he said these e-tickets that you have are nothing and do no good for this bus. Now you need to get out of line and go to the ticket counter and get "REAL TICKETS" Then I said what do you mean, and he said you are not a real customer, but these other people in line paid for their tickets on this bus and are waiting to get to get onto this bus for their trip. And I said what do you mean these are not real tickets and we are not "REAL CUSTOMERS" We bought these e-tickets thru Greyhound over 1 mos ago online and I said other people also are using these! If I bought these tickets over 1 mos ago and we are not real customers how much in advance do we have to buy them? And he replied "It doesn't matter" Go to ticket counter and get "REAL TICKETS" If you would have bought "REAL TICKETS" from the beginning you wouldn't even be in this situation! It is your fault, you should have bought will call tickets? And I said what is that and he said it really doesn't matter! Then I said how am I to know that these e-tickets that Greyhound advertises, that I shouldn't be buying them? Then he said, you really don't get it do you? When we finally got "REAL TICKETS" we missed our bus and had to find another bus schedule. THE LEAST THEY COULD HAVE DONE WAS TO HOLD OUR SEATS!! First they told us that there are no more buses coming anytime soon and we may need to wait here overnight! Then the bus we had to get on went to Orlando. When we arrived in Orlando they rerouted us onto a completely different route which delayed our trip by over 14 hrs! We were offered nothing for our inconvenience, no food, lodging or drink!! We should have been in Harrisburg by 5:15 pm but only arrived there by 7:30 am the next morning! Due to coming in late we missed our family's steak dinner at a nice restaurant and also a day of our vacation. Or layover in Philadelphia was 5 hr: 20 minutes due to Greyhound's rescheduling us to Philadelphia, where we were not scheduled on the trip originally. Due to being there we were put into a precarious life threatening situation because around 3:00 am we were told we had to go outside because they needed to clean up and count their money! While outside we were put in alot of danger with dangerous people and one of them came to us and tried to make us give him money. He seemed like he was high on drugs and came over to us and kept staring and kept yelling all kinds of profanity at us for quite some time and I said to my wife this is so messed up, we aren't even supposed to be here, we were scheduled to be in Baltimore Md. This may be it and the end of our life and I am sorry for having you in this HELLISH situation! The people outside were very scary and shifty! And like I said NO SECURITY!!This is just wrong, having to be in this dangerous situation!!!! There was also VERY LITTLE TO NO SECURITY inside of the terminal, and everyone who worked there seemed like they left the building for quite some time. Also every terminal was filthy and the restrooms smelled like strong urine and most of the bathrooms had broken bathroom stalls/can't lock doors and out of order toilets. Every bus was also filthy also. No Cleanliness and they also smelled!!!! Also in general,the employees were thinly staffed and hard to get any service, between bus transfers for service questions. In general everywhere the employees were mean and nasty and made customers very angry and restless and more angry when they had issues/problems.Like I tell everyone, NO more bus trips ever again!! Our family desperately needs a full refund of $609 PLUS reimbursements for this failed and miserable trip!! Also Very lousy treatment when we were in Philadelphia for a 5hr 20 minutes layover. No food,drink,or hotel accommodations were offered! I rated this 1 star simply because 0 stars are not allowed otherwise I would have rated this a 0! read more

I must say I did not bring my printed tickets to the bus stop, the people in the help desk had no intention in being friendly although they were helpful, because I insisted that they help me. I do appreciate that they printed the tickets out for us. But I'm sorry to say this is the first time I write a bad review on a website. The disrespect I received was beyond me. I simply needed to go the 1pm bus route. I asked the security guard for help and she was on her cell phone refusing to give me attention. After asking her multiple times to help me. She finally decided to help me. Than when we were being helped to enter the bus we were reminded that being late was the reason they are being rude. Luckily we got on the bus that was supposed to leave at 1pm which ended up leaving at 1:30pm. All I ask is for better customer service and genuine care. If you arrive on time or even if you are late there is no need for rude remarks from the workers to the passengers. read more

I purchased two tickets because it was advertised that the bus had WiFi. It turned out that there was no WiFi on the bus. When I found out I was beyond mad. Besides the bad 4 hour ride. The lady at the bus station in Miami was so rude to me and to the other passengers. I'm sorry but people like her should have a back office work or somewhere far from customers! This lady's name is Ceci and oh god stay away from her and don't ask for her help because you are just wasting your time she won't help you. She will just scream at you like crazy ! On the other hand, there was a really nice lady named Sara who was extremely helpful unlike Ceci. If it hadn't been for Sara I wouldn't have been able to make it to the bus. read more

When I came here to check-in, some rude African American lady at the front desk almost ripped me off $18 because "I didn't have the credit card i purchased my online ticket with". My parent had purchased the ticket for me with her own card, so of course didn't have it with me. Nowhere online did it say I had to bring the card! All it stated was that i needed to bring the confirmation email and my ID. Nothing about a credit/debit card! Either the greyhound company needs to mention this on their websites or they need to punish that lady. read more

Staff was very rude. Check in line, departure line everything was messed up. There were no one for the guidance or help. They do not accept the digital ticket. We have to print the tickets which is very inconvenient for the travelers. read more
