He asked for photos of our equipment, and he quickly diagnosed what he thought was the issue. He told me that the office would call to set up an appointment. The office called me soon after, and we had an appointment set up for the next day (another company told me their first available appointment was in 10 days!). Jack showed up right at the scheduled time, and let us know that we needed a new pump. Two days later, he came back, installed the new pump, and had to do some other minor adjustments that he did not anticipate. He didn't charge us anything extra for these adjustments, and his price from the first moment never changed. He got the work done quickly, and was on his way. Everything is working great! I was super impressed with Jack's communication, clearness, and promptness. He is super professional, and we will only use Backyard Pool & Spa Repair in the future!

Meanwhile, Santa Ana wind blew tree branches, leafs, deck furniture into the pool. I was devastated. Crystal blue that is. I've never seen the bottom of my pool this clean. I can't thank Tom and his guys enough for their honesty and professionalism. I highly recommend their service !

It has taken me MONTHS to write this, but I was waiting for our full yard and pool area to be…read morecompleted and here we are. We got quotes from several pool remodeling companies and Smart Swim came in right in the middle. We are strong believers on "you get what you pay for," and opted to go with them even though they were not the cheapest. From beginning to end, the guys at Smart Swim were easy to work with and truly wanted our project to come out great. After 30 years, it was time for our pool to have a remodel! Through the remodel, it was uncovered that we had many severe leaks, down to the rebar that needed to be fixed in some areas. Sam was great at making sure we understood the severity and that we were okay with any new costs that needed to be added. Not only did they do our pool, but also installed turf by the pool area and put pavers all around the pool and yard area. We also got the new gray gate installed from them as well, to replace the wooden fence in the yard (between the pool). **Noting that the perimeter wall/wooden top was painted black and sanded/stained by a different company. We truly appreciate their hard work and even when we had an immediate death in the family during their time working on our project, they were very respectful and gave us some space as needed. BIG THANK YOU to Shai that really has the ultimate patience and knows how to give amazing customer service!! You all are lucky to have him on your team!

During my research process, I read numerous online postings advising that a nearby, trustworthy…read moredealer is the most important aspect when buying a hot tub. Although I was about to purchase a hot tub from a large, well known dealer in Corona, I decided to look at Custom Spas Direct, which has good online reviews and happens to be very close to our house. I'm glad I did. I was not familiar with the Vita spa brand that Custom Spas Direct sells. There's very little information available online. After doing some digging, I determined that Vita is a decent, mid-range spa with competitive pricing. Nothing fancy, but it's built with good components from companies like Balboa Water Group. Dealing with Custom Spas Direct has been fantastic. It's a small company and we interacted directly with Jim Galpin, the owner. Jim is a straightforward guy and he was very helpful in choosing a spa. Since I was unfamiliar with Vita, I had a lot of questions and he patiently answered all of them. He quickly responded whenever I sent him a text with a question or request. After the purchase, he was super flexible with regard to delivery, setup timing, coordinating with the electrician's schedule, etc. The delivery and setup was quick and well done. The installer did a good job answering all of my questions. We've had the spa six months and have had a couple of minor issues. One was probably due to user error on my part and the other was not. In both cases, Jim responded to my texts immediately and quickly resolved my issue, even during a holiday week. I'm so glad I purchased from a local dealer that provides such fantastic service after the sale. I'm sure a larger dealer would not have given us the same treatment. Thanks Jim! Five stars!
