I ordered a peanut butter cookie and got a coconut cookie. The pretzel bites were cold, and there's was no structure among the employees. They were all acting as if they were at a party or something with no regard to the customers in the building. The music was so loud inside that I could barely hear myself think. My wife and I went inside because we thought it would be faster but we ended up waiting 15 minutes for a lemonade, a cookie, and some cold pretzels. On top of that, our order came out to $12, but when we added up what we ordered based on the menu prices, it was $8.15. The manager on duty said that it was because of "taxes and some price changes recently" but wouldn't give us a receipt. Honestly, this was the worst experience I've ever had an any fast food place, and I downloaded yelp on my phone just to leave this review. And Nicole T. (if you are still the business owner), please be more transparent and consistent on prices and employee training. I really do love Swig's but the wait is seriously ridiculous. This morning I waited 15 minutes and decided to run. They were not taking orders inside and the girl was just cutting up boxes. I feel she could have been outside helping to get customers through faster. I believe customers come first. This has happened a couple of times when I've been waiting and I can see the girls inside talking when they clearly could be helping customers. I'm also very frustrated that you can't do a refill online or use your gift card that was added to your wallet when you check out at the window. I wish I would have never upload my card. read more

Not all Swigs are created equally (especially the cookies). The Provo location's sugar cookies are almost always dry (too much flour), dried out (left out too long), not cold (their trademark), and habe a SMALL frosting portion (like almost transparent). The Swig in AF's cookies are moist, dense, fresh, cold and they have a HEALTHY frosting portion. **UPDATE: Today I went to both the Provo and AF locations. Love the Red Storm drink. But, twice this week I have ordered it and they have tried to give me leftovers of the same drink someone else had previously ordered. Today that happened again, and I had ordered 3 drinks- which is a full can of rockstar in each- and they were trying to make two plus some leftover make 3 drinks. So I asked if they could just make a third fresh one for me. They rolled their eyes, but still made it. Then when Mason brought them to the counter he sarcastically called out "3 FRESH red storms!" I am disappointed in both that they tried to short me a drink and then the poor customer service and way they handled the situation on top of that. Hope to see better. read more

Don't get me wrong, the cookies were good and the "dirty" sodas were alright..but I'm pretty sure you can get the same thing at Maverick. Literally the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant before. I love sodalicious and so I decided to give Swig a try after hearing good things about it. We didn't realize but we ended up getting to Swig right before they closed. I went to order and told the girl at the cash register that we'd never been here before and she just stared at me while I tried to figure out what was good to order. My husband ordered and it took them a while to make the order, just two sodas. The music was really loud, gave me a headache. Then we go to sit down. The floors were disgusting. Sticky soda everywhere and straw wrappers all over the floor. There was even sticky stuff on the chairs and couches to sit on. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned up all day. Our friends we were with had really awful customer service while ordering also. After we got our sodas, we sat down, having no idea at the time that they were closing. They decided to blast the song "closing time" at a unspeakable volume. Sitting next to each other, we couldn't hear each other. Like yea, I understand that we walked in late, we had no idea, but if they would have politely told us that they needed to close down that would have been fine. But no, instead they blasted the song while completely ignoring us. It was completely rude. Yes, the sodas were good, but I will NEVER be back to Swig. Very fun soda shop, it is a great place to swing by after classes or work. You pick your base soda (coke, dr. pepper, mt. dew, etc.) then you add all sorts of syrups, creams, and other flavors. I like to get Diet Dr. Pepper with cherry syrup. They also have specific creations that are tried and true such as Big Al, which is Diet Coke with coconut and lime. They also have delicious sugar cookies that are always freshly frosted. The drinks are about the same cost as a gas station fountain drink, but definitely more delicious here and a fun experience. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! They just opened a few days ago and I have been 3 times already, and I could not be happier. I have visited them many times while visiting St.George. The sugar cookies are FABULOUS. Perfectly sweet. Perfect soft/crunchy ratio. TO DIE FOR. The dirty Dr. Pepper is my favorite. They add coconut to it and its so good. I usually come here for my drinks, but the customer service has gone downhill, FAST! Especially at this location. Today we went through the drive through and were way overcharged (we got the exact same drinks and sizes a few days ago and were charged way less) and when I asked why it was so much for two small drinks, the worker had the manager come over. She gave me an entire lesson on why it was so expensive, but she made me feel SO DUMB! My new addiction. I love soda way too much and this place is perfect for me. Or horrible, depending on your perspective. I'm a fan of the Dirty Dr Pepper and the Mack Attack (or whatever the Mountain Dew one was called). The Unicorn was good too, though not quite what I like. A lot of my friends hyped up the sugar cookies, so I was apprehensive. To my delight, they're really as fantastic as everyone said they were. Dense, rich, buttery, and tasted homemade (as they should). My only complaint is that they shouldn't serve them chilled. Service has always been really friendly and quick, and the prices are cheap. read more

Deeelicious! The sugar cookies are so fat and sugary I got a cavity just looking at one. They are soft, cold, and definitely big enough to share--a great deal for only $1.50! The dirty drinks are pretty yummy, but also really sweet. I would consider the drinks another dessert. The 32 oz is huge and I can't even imagine people ordering the one larger. A friend gave us a gift card for Swig that says it is valid at all locations. After ordering the cashier let us know the gift card wasn't accepted at their Provo location and that the other Swig just up the street would accept it. We drove 20 minutes to the Orem Swig and after ordering and receiving our order, we were told the gift card needed to be redeemed online, so we paid out of pocket. The mango boba is awesome, but I would be weary of getting gift cards for friends in the future. Edit: We just read on the fine print of the Groupon gift card that it is only a $20 dollar gift card and needs to be redeemed online, despite saying it is $25 at all locations across the top. It was only worth $25 for the first month after it was purchased, and then is worth $20 which is how much it cost. Edit: We can't redeem the gift card online, so Swig got $20 from one of our friends that can never be redeemed. read more

You can get a great custom drink here with some large pebble ice. The cookies are good, very dense sugar cookie. We also tried the chocolate one, and I think it was better! I tried a dirty DP one day, it was excellent. But when I added the raspberry purée the next time, it tasted like diet DP. And they made it in front of me, so I know it wasn't. At the End of the day, it's cheap enough to try lots of combinations. read more

I usually get the bubble tea drinks, they're usually pretty good, I like chocolate and avocado (sounds weird but just try it, it's really good) That being said, it seems that have the time they're out of the boba pearls, and/or the flavor I'm looking for. Today I came at 10 AM and they were out of coconut and chocolate. Don't really understand how that happens when you've only been open for a few hours. As an added irritant, I asked specifically if they had the pearls, they said yes, but then didn't put any pearls in my drink? Not sure what happened there. As a place that caters to soda and cookies, I would say it's pretty average all around. If you like soda, you'll probably enjoy it. The menu board was the most interesting to me. They've tried to go for bright colors and draw people in. But honestly, it's kind of confusing and chaotic. It was seriously hard to tell what some drink options/suggestions were. As opposed to their competitors that specifically and plainly list many different options. You do get charged extra for any flavor shot. I wonder if they realize that you can go to a gas station nowadays (and many fast food joints) and get a bunch of different flavor shots for nothing extra. They do also offer a variety of cookie options. The sugar cookie is what is raved about. Personally, it's just a sugar cookie. But you know, to each their own. Overall, honestly wouldn't go out of my way. But they've scored on the location being right across from the BYU track and so when you're roasting after sitting for a few hours in the sun, it's a nice cool down. read more

What kind of hubris has to exist in a company's ownership to think that they have proprietary rights to using the word "dirty" in their menu? This is what happens when you are locked in the Utah Valley bubble and don't understand literally the entire world around you. "Dirty" has been a term in alcoholic beverage mixing and bartending for longer than this soda shop has been around. You don't have first-dibs on it. This swig is delicious. I definitely have had times where my drink was disappointing, but as I go there so frequently, I expect some variance in the quality. While the wait can definitely be long, the employees are always kind enough and offer good customer service. I have never had a rude employee. Swig is swig. It's over priced. That's just a fact. They contacted me after I left them a poor review for their smoothies. I was left a $5 gift card and given some suggestions, and my second time in was much better. I had the joy chocolate and it is really good. Right around $2 for a regular size, which I find decent for the price. I upped their rating I gave them, but I'm leaving a star off because they asked me to go back and leave a better review. I paid $5 for a mango boba smoothie, and what did I get? A watery, crunchy slush with a hint of mango. And the boba were nowhere to be found. I got to the bottom, purely out of frustrated curiosity (it didn't taste good, but where were those tapioca pearls even hiding??), and all I found were 9 sad, flavorless pearls, which were frozen solid, and too big to fit through the straw. I have been here a few times, and haven't been super impressed. The drinks aren't bad, but if you go, make sure you go through the drive-through. The inside atmosphere is terrible. I ordered a single drink and I waited 15 minutes for them to call it out. I watched them make my drink, and set it on the counter to be called, then it sat there for probably about 7 minutes until finally one of their employees called it out. They don't keep track of numbers or names, so its all just on the name of the drink, which could be the same for everyone waiting in line. With all due respect to the employees, they aren't the brightest bunch... enough said... I have since transitioned to a different soda place in town that provides 10x better service and the same, if not better products. read more
