If you like sodas mixed together and additional mix ins then this is your place. I am not a big soda fun but they have some other options like horchata. I go here though because I get a craving for the sugar cookies ($1.62 out the door). I was disappointed they stopped offering piña Colada though. Great drink after you add in some milk. The sugar cookies are tasty but they come out of the fridge cold and are best at room temperature. I have heard commissions about that. Sugar cookies can be chilled temporarily without losing the taste quality though it can be a mind game that it is not fresh. I prefer these to the Swig cookie though they look 90% the same. Watch our for the lines. It often turns me off from going altogether seeing half a dozen cars in line at the shack and it's not at a great location. We got 3 drinks and they were all new drinks, but I don't think that it should've tasted like that, we got blue bombshell (it was flat and had too much syrup) rosy water with sparkling water no lime (Also flat and had no flavor except pickle), m-ty (it didn't taste good even though the staff recommended it) there was 2 people working, around 1 car in the drive thru and took 10 minutes to order and 7 minutes to get even though all they were doing is stoking and cleaning. Got in line at 9:40. Employee came out at 9:56 and put cones down in front of our car indicating we would not be able to order. The employee had the audacity to put on a large coat with a hood so we couldn't see them. They did not make eye contact and would not even respond to me when I asked why we weren't going to be able to order even though we were in line and it still wasn't even 10pm. Sodalicious is good. Fun drink combinations and friendly staff. I've been to this location several times and it is great. One thing to keep in mind is that the majority of the cookies that I've gotten here have been cold from the fridge. You have to let them sit and warm up. No big deal. The parking lot requires some tight turns so if you have a 1978 Lincoln Continental, or some other long car/truck, keep that in mind. Sodalicious is the perfect place for a quick and easy dessert fix. I prefer Sodalicious over Swig because at Sodalicious, each soda is paired with simple flavor combinations. I don't want 5 different, overwhelming tastes mixed with my soda. Sodalicious usually keeps their drink combinations to up to 3 flavors, and that is about all of the sweetness that I can handle! I'm a Diet Coke fan, and I keep my order basic because I get just a Diet Coke "extra dirty" (half & half) and it consistently hits the spot. And for added deliciousness, making your drink "dirty" (coconut and lime) usually complements any soda pretty well. I've never been disappointed with the soda that I've gotten from there. My biggest pet peeve is when I go to McDonald's or some other quick place to get soda and the drink is either flat, or it does not have enough soda syrup. But when I know that I'm in some serious need of caffeine, Sodalicious is my go to! Yesterday, I tried one of their new cookie flavors - white chocolate macadamia nut cookie with coconut lime frosting. The cookie was cold, which is somewhat unique to Utah soda places. I love the drinks and the service is generally really good, but lately they have not been adding the half-half when I specifically ask for it (and pay for it). When they hand me the drink I can see that there is no cream in the foam. When I hand it back and tell them it should be extra dirty, they tell me there is cream in, when it's clear there is not. I honestly have no major loyalty to Sodalicious or Swig. I love a Diet Coke in any form from any place. Their sugar cookies are more dense, their icing more solid than Swig's-- but both are delicious! Their drinks are usually mixed well and they have a great menu. We've had to return drinks a couple of times because they've given us the wrong thing. The only big issues we've had are finding hairs in our drink (happened twice). There are lots of fun soda shops in the provo area. It is a great place to swing by after classes or work. You pick your base soda (coke, dr. pepper, mt. dew, etc.) then you add all sorts of syrups, creams, and other flavors. I like to get Diet Dr. Pepper with cherry syrup. I tried adding vanilla cream as well and that was too much. They also have specific creations that are tried and true such as Big Al, which is Diet Coke with coconut and lime. They also have delicious sugar cookies that are always freshly frosted. The drinks are about the same cost as a gas station fountain drink, but definitely more delicious here and a fun experience. I prefer swig over sodalicious because you can actually go inside swig. It is snowy and rainy a lot of the time and there is no covered area to wait in line at sodalicious so that is unpleasant. The drive through line is also really long and in is in a bad location so it runs out into the street. read more

If you've ever been to Provo you've probably heard talk of Sodalicious or seen people walking down the road with their cups with the iconic red symbol. It is a Provo staple. And it is something everybody deserves to experience. When I first moved to Utah I wasn't a big fan of soda, but after my first sip at sodalicious, my mind and heart were changed. They have a huge variety of flavors that they mix in so beautifully with the sodas and then if you order your drink "extra dirty" they add in a short of half and half that makes it just to die for. While you're sipping your unique, outstanding drink with your friends at the picnic benches outside of the shop, or opt for the drive through to take it somewhere else, I highly recommend the entire menu of cookies and treats. The workers will put extra frosting and/or chocolate frosting on the sugar cookies if you request and the famously cold cookie is insanely delicious. One winter I decided to be bold and I braved the hot chocolate menu. This one's interesting. In general I'm a fan of Sodalicious. Their location in the tiny barbershop off of 300 W and University is a fun spot to grab a quick pick-me-up of sugar, while tasting better than just a dollar soda from McDonald's. The tongue-in-cheek Provo college humor is a fun quirk with drink names such as "Your Mom," "Second Wife," etc. It is only a drive-thru, so you get what you expect: a quick, pretty good, pretty cheap comfort food (or drink in this case). It is somewhat of a pain, however, that there isn't really any parking. If the line gets longer than 7-10 cars, your only option is to stop traffic on University Parkway. Something I felt was odd is that they've taken to using the term mixology. Mixology is a term used to classify the art of mixing drinks in the cocktail revolution, a renaissance of using fresh juices or handcrafted ingredients in making cocktails; a craft. While technically, yes, mixing flavors of drink is mixology, that term I've felt has been reserved, most bars don't even use it unless it's a cocktail bar. It's like heading into Burger King and asking who the Master Chef and Sous Chef are. Their use of mixology cheapens the term. The product is still delicious, and still at a great price, but Sodalicious should embrace what it is: cheap, tasty soda flavors, and keep its presentation as such. read more

No. No. No. Stop it. It's soda. Let me run some numbers for you smart people on Yelp. Soda costs are variable. But let's use the average. Let's say each BIB (container) of Soda Syrup costs $50. You can usually get around 3800 ounces from one. That brings us to about 1.5 cents an ounce. If you order a 20 oz soda, you get 30 cents a soda to make. Now add ice, and the ounces you get are less. Cups are around 7 cents each. Lids and straws maybe 3 cents total. So think about it, you're paying $$ for something that costs $.40. Is it hard to make? No. Can you do it yourself? Yes. Is it delicious? No. Is it bad for you? Yes. BUT I'm giving it two stars because out of all this time, they still have not solved the problem with causing traffic on University Avenue. For you Utah soda lovers, rave on. If you're addicted to soda, I guess I can give it 3 stars. Try having virgin drinks, much better alternative. It's a great place to quickly stop by for a soda and they have some great drinks. However, this location has terrible menu placement. It's right by the door/window that people order at if they aren't in a car, meaning they block the view of the menu for everyone who is in a car. Also the employees like to come up to your car and ask for your order before you're close enough to even see the menu, let alone figure out what you want. It's extremely irritating! Also, they switched from punch cards to a rewards system that is nearly more trouble than it's worth and requires a much larger investment before the free soda than the punch cards did. Boo. We frequent this Provo location the most. It's close to our home and we have enjoyed our experiences here more than any other soda shop. Listen, if you're not into soda, then this place is obviously not for you. But this place is good enough to maybe change your mind. They've got a huge variety, and many different flavor combos to choose from. If you want to create your own, go for it. Sodalicious is the best drink and treats establishment I've ever been to. First of all, the vibe of the whole place is spot on. What really sets Sodalicious above others is the fact that they have a bunch of different popular drink concoctions on their menu so you don't have to figure out what's good for yourself. The cookies are to die for, I always get the peanut butter cookie with frosting. The Castaway drink is amazing. Workers are always super nice and friendly.
