My son and I split one of the large Extreme Sour Patch Kid Blue Raspberry shaved ice at a soccer tournament. The service was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful staff. It was a popup tent at a tournament, so I don't know what their store is like, but judging from the experience we had, I'm sure it is great. Taste-wise, it's pretty sour. Probably too intense for most. But we love sour candy and found it delicious. Very flavorful, equal parts sweet and sour. read more

I come here because this the only place where you get flavor in every bite of shaved ice. It's nice, flavors important! I had them make the orange dream flavor and I loved it! Especially since they mixed in vanilla ice cream in the middle! The place is great too, there's games and stuff so you don't get bored waiting! The employees are nice and they take good care of this place! I'll keep coming back! read more

We love Bahama Bucks! They have soft, delicious Hawaiian shave ice. My family loves shave ice and we look everywhere we go to find the best in the area. They offer huge sizes and have tons of good flavors. I also love the blended drinks with shave ice and ice cream. Fast service, island theme, delicious dessert - just what we want. read more

Meh! Such great variety but it falls short . Nice folks work there. I ordered Bahama colada drink . Flavor was good but texture is way off . It's very watery , almost milk like texture. It's not smoothie or slushy like. Not what I expected. I couldn't get past few sips of that. My daughter ordered some shaved ice ...that again, had decent flavor but texture was wrong. I wouldn't return . read more

I came here because my son got a free sno cone from his school. I was not expecting to come away with something so delicious and high quality! I thought I would get a classic snow cone like the ones I've been getting from local stands for years, but the ice on this one was soo soft and smooth! We got a mix of tigers blood and blue coconut and it was fantastic! I had to steal a few bites of my son's dessert. I will for sure be back to try more of their yummy concoctions soon! The service was also great and the lady at the drive through was very helpful. We didn't get to go inside, but I'm sure it's kid friendly and chill! read more

This is my favorite shaved ice place. And best thing is that it's open year round. The shaved ice is flakey and soft, blends well with the flavors. The smoothies are also refreshing. I love that you can go inside and play games and enjoy your sno. They have a drive thru. read more

What's the best part of summer? SHAVE ICE. What's the worst part of summer? When shave ice shacks shut down. Not Banana Bucks. This place is open ALL YEAR LONG and it is glorious! The sizes are SUPER generous as are the prices. My kids are basic and always get Tigers blood and blue raspberry, but they have some crazy flavors like birthday cake and pickle juice. I haven't been brave enough to try yet!! LOVE this place- especially with ice cream or the added toppings. DELISH. read more

For a gal who almost never craves shaved ice, Bahama Bucks is pretty amazing. It honestly was way better than what I had my expectations set. When I've had shaved ice before, the flavor strips tend to be extremely strong and have a weird aftertaste, but not here. We ordered the Banana Rama Mama which has ice cream at the bottom (your pick between vanilla, chocolate & strawberry), shaved ice on top with any flavors you want, and some coconut based cream. I got just one flavor - passion fruit, but we also got a Horchata one (both with vanilla ice cream). The shaved ice was so good! It didn't crumble into one big block of ice or get melted immediately, the syrup was the perfect mix of flavor and sweet, and the ice cream made it the perfect combination. We had a dog with us, and although we were told that he was not allowed inside, we got a pup sno (shaved ice with sprinkles) for him! 5/5 for their service as well! read more

No need to wait for summer to get shaved ice !! This place is clean, delicious and also employees are friendly.

Our cashier was rude and took our order very slowly and we had to repeat what we ordered multiple times. When we got out Snow cones, they were sticky and when we took a bite, the middle had no syrup. I am not paying 6 dollars for ice and syrup when there isn't even enough syrup and when we asked for more syrup, they were rude and rolled their eyes read more

Mixed feelings about you he smoothie I got. Got the pina colada flavored smoothies. Had a really good taste at first and then was like this is really good, but then my mouth started tasting very funky. It's been 30 minutes and it has left a awful taste in my mouth. So that's unfortunate. But it tasted good at first. Haha but im definitely willing to try some different flavors. read more

I had no self control. I drank most of it before I remembered to photograph it. It was my first time here in years and went for a creamy ice cream drink. The strawberry bliss tasted like a treat but not a strawberry milkshake. And it wasn't a shaved ice. It's a mix of icee and milkshake. Absolutely refreshing and sweet. I've been back 3 days in a row since. Had the Pina colada and it had fresh ingredients. They do a punch card so be sure to ask, I believe Tuesdays are double punch days. Stop by. Bahama Buck's is a bucking amazing place! I have heard of their stuff for a while but I had no idea I would like it as much as I did! I am not the biggest fan of sno-cones, so I ended up getting a smoothie when I visited here. Lemme tell you, it was the best smoothie I have ever had in my entire life. It has such simple ingredients--just fruit and greek yogurt. So I am not really sure what made it SO AMAZING but it was worth all the hype. I thought the service here was really fast; it only took a few minutes to blend up my drink and then serve it. The girl at the window and the girl taking my order over the headset were both pretty nice, which is always a plus! I do wish they had some sort of food truck or just something closer to Lehi. There is the one in Draper so it's not that far from Lehi but I dread point of the mountain haha. I tell all my friends how much I love Bahama Buck's and I will continue to do so because even with all the hype they receive, it is still so underrated. They deserve the world and I would do some crazy things for the smoothie I got! read more

the ambiance and vibes inside were great and the workers were friendly and the wait time was fairly short and they even had a little board games shelf but the the smoothie i bought that supposedly had pineapple and coconut was all banana and the whipped cream left a nasty feeling on the roof of my mouth and I felt the prices were too high based off of the quality of the drinks . read more

Some days its hit or miss, but it's usually a great place. Love their smoothies and creme drinks. Pup Cups are huge! But they do cost $0.99. I love that they're not just whip cream but have a little snowball too. Their snow cones are a nice texture and aren't hard and icy like most. Lots of flavor variety. Imagine a Beach Boys album mixed with a Jack Johnson album in the form of a restaurant. It's relaxed, playful, beach-themed and makes you want to put on a swimsuit and soak up the sun. I used pocket points to get a free small shaved ice with the option of any flavors on the menu. I had the piña colada which was INCREDIBLE. They put the perfect proportions of syrup to ice and the texture was just delightful the whole time. Plus, the small is actually huge! It was a busy night when I went, but there was still plenty of sitting room so it didn't feel the least bit crowded, and there were plenty of games for everyone to pick through. I left Bahama's Bucks with by expectations way surpassed and already decided to come back lots more times this summer!! read more

Ok I don't get it. My kids love this place and say it is real good. They took me for the first time and I have to say I was not super impressed. So why a 4 star review? Well the grand kids enjoyed it and that is a four star in my book. Sometimes when you review it is important to see what the others in your party think and incorporate that into your review. Everyone had different flavors. The snowie type of machine made the ice very light and fluffy. The flavors are noting out of the ordinary but there are a lot to chose from. The staff was nice, service good and the place was clean-- a plus in my book. Next time you want your kids or grand kids happy take them to a place that has snow cones. The price is also reasonable. Cheaper than taking them to Disneyland. read more

Been here a few times now and I'm loving it. The service has always been really nice albeit not always the fastest. I love that they offer hot and cold options so you can come year round for any type of dessert that fits your mood. I haven't tried any hot options yet but I got the Frozen Hot Koko and liked it. I would recommend getting a smaller size cuz it gets tiring after a while, but it's enjoyable for the most part. I love love love the snow cones though. Their flavors are diverse (pickle juice flavor included), toppings are creative, quantity is astronomical, and quality is top notch. Highly recommend coming here vs some of the other snow cone shacks around Provo. It is definitely a better venue than random stands in random locations. read more

Stuck in the drive-thru for nearly an hour now. It's delicious but not worth being stuck for this long. We called in, they said they are short-staffed... Bahama Bucks, if / when you read this, plan ahead with extra staffing for hot days! May have lost my service for good. read more

Chilling in a festive atmosphere here at Bahama Bucks. The place is hopping. The sno pros killed it with kindness and smiles while taking our orders and making these chill tropical surprises. I think this is my 7th or 8th time killing myself with delicious flavors at this Bahama Buck's location. I seriously love it. I'm waiting for a bad experience still. To be fair, I do only get the shaved ice with no ice cream or anything else so I may not be the best opinion on the other menu items. Tonight I once again braved the sour flavors menu! The risk paid off. We (my wife and I) gritted our teeth in search of the very best heaven juices (also known as shaved ice flavors to mortals). We decided on the trifecta of white coconut, sour red raspberry, and sour apple. Seriously I can't say enough about their sour flavors. I mean, I love sour sweets and flavors, but BB's takes this to an entirely new level . . . a level that is out of this realm of flavor profiles. But, being real, the flavors were awesome. I think I prefer toasted coconut to white coconut. Until now, sour red raspberry was my go-to base flavor, but now I think it's been replaced with sour apple. 12/10 stars on that flavor. Finally, we used our punch card tonight to get our shaved ice for free. It's probably a little thing, but I think it's infinitely cool that you can get any size shaved ice for free once you get 10 punches on your card. I mean, let's be real, is anyone ever buying the 32-oz shaved ice to get one stamp? No. Unless I'm just the cheapest person on earth, I'm assuming everyone gets a small, medium, large to get their stamps. Long story short, I got the 32-oz. Did I regret it? Yes. I wish I had bought two 32-oz shaved ices. 10/10 would try again. read more

I love Bahama Bucks! This is the best shaved ice you can get here in Provo. They have so many flavors, always get the ice cream in the bottom! The snow cone syrup melts down and makes the ice cream so soft. It is such a treat to get a group of friends and go to Bahama Bucks! It is especially worth it if you use an app called Pocket Points which was specifically made for students to gain points while on campus in class without the use of their phones. I might be a little biased as I grew up with these close to my home. You can't beat their shaved ice. I had a two second thought where I considered just putting "SUGAR!!!" as my review but I was 100% sure some douche troop would try to get my review removed because Sugar isn't a review. Oh all ye pretentious! I did not have to pay for this. It was a comped serving of one of their offerings. I got to admit it is just sugar on top of sugar on top of sugar. Which is kind of an obvious conclusion to come to with a shaved ice place. Maybe that is something that disqualifies me from reviewing this as well... shaved ice v snow cone... is there a difference? I will look it up on google as to increase my knowledge but let's be honest, it is just an excuse for sugar addicts to eat fruity syrups. Hmmmm this is more unhealthy than soda... but i really like it... what if i just crush some ice and pour it on top? Is that okay? And what if I just add a scoop of ice cream to the bottom... what are your thoughts on that? As I was eating this thing (ps all of the flavors are delicious, I mean... it's flavored sugar) I knew I wouldn't be able to finish the thing. Tiger's Blood, Pineapple, and Coconut, I really liked the three flavors mixed together and a little cream at the end was perfect. There was no real sustenance so... you know what you're getting into. THE VERDICT It is good stuff but I could go here maybe once a year. I would probably die if I went more than once a year. At the same time... it is a 3 because I can't say it was any worse than the other places I have been. I mean... now that rita's is gone... wooooo, this place is way better than that place if that means anything to any of you self-ashamed sugar addicts. ;) read more

This hits close to home now that we finally have a BB in Provo!! Bahamas Bucks is HUGE where in from in Arizona, so it's fun to see it up here now. This place is tradition back at home. Utahns will learn to appreciate it when it gets hot outside. Let's get down to the flavor basics. There is no limit to what kind of flavors they have here. I haven't counted or had them all, but I'm dog gone willing to try. My favorites include: Red Raspberry, Birthday Cake, Blue Raspberry, Horchata, Wedding Cake, and Cola. You must always, ALWAYS get the Bahama Rama Mama. It's a need. It comes with your choice of flavor, creme on top, and ice cream on the bottom. Literally all you need in life!! Also pro tip, I recently got li hing mui (Hawaiian plum powder) on top and it was so yummy!! Highly recommend! read more

I hesitate to even give 3 stars. Aside from the fact that Hokulia's is softer and cheaper, the service here is atrocious. All the staff are 16 year old girls who will watch you waiting at the front for 10 minutes. Once we finally ordered we got our snow cones and sat down. Almost immediately there were screams from the open work space. The girls were laughing about something and continued shrieking for a while. Everyone in the dining area stared.
