I had heard a lot about Snoasis and when we pulled up there was quite a long line so I was anxious to see what all the excitement was about. We ordered a glacier, which is ice cream with the shave ice and it was really good! The ice cream on its own had a kind of weird flavor, but was great with the flavoring and the added texture was nice. I was a little disappointed because there were several pretty big ice chunks. If it weren't for that this would be a five star shave ice establishment. It may have just been some bad luck that there were ice chunks, I'm anxious to give them another shot read more

Perfect little shaved iced stand. Great prices and seating with umbrellas. Awesome selection of flavors and nice staff. Prices start at $1 for a kiddie size. You can add cream for .50 cents and ice cream for a $1. The cream adds a nice softness to the sweet syrup. read more

Best snow cone shack, hands down! Ice has the consistency of snow, options for extra syrup, ice cream on the bottom, and best of all, REAL CREAM poured over the top!! These things are like drugs, I eat my weight in snow cones every summer! A word of warning, be prepared for a long line, the secret of how great this place is has gotten around. I find that strangely 6pm (dinnertime?) seems to be not too bad. Bonus- they play chill tunes and there's places to sit and talk at tables and on the grass in the shade. read more

This makes me sad to write bad review because Snoasis has been such a fun place for us to go in Alpine over the years. I am mainly writing this for management so they can realize that some more training needs to happen with their employees. We are here at 3:30 on a Thursday, only waited 2 minutes to make our purchase, but we have now waited 35 minutes to get our snow cones! The ice used to always be so smooth, but now it is chunky. The quality has gone so down for this place. I waited 20 minutes for my snow cone and I was one of the few people there at the time. The flavor was good, I got pomegranate and was pleasantly surprised at how much I actually like the flavor. I made my snow cone a "glacier"(this is where they put ice cream at the bottom, and cream on the top). First of all my snow cone was all mostly melted when I got it, and there was a huge chunk of ice in the middle. When I got to the bottom my ice cream was completely melted. I have come here before and have not had such a negative experience. The girls in the booth seemed to like messing around instead of doing their jobs, and were pretty incompetent. I will go back because I do love snow cones and this place is close to my house. But I am definitely disappointed with my experience from tonight. read more

We live in SLC and have driven down twice in the same week to Snoasis. Love love the root beer with the cream on top. Taste better than a root beer float. They are closing tonight August 23 until May 2014. We will be down again...so good! worth the trip. read more
