    Spice spice baby

I had no idea that Indy had Swig! I tried it back in Utah and loved! We ordered the spice spice baby & the poppin' pineapple, both very good! I was especially surprised with the seasonal option, because you can taste the pumpkin. I will say the person who helped us outside didnt look too interested in being there. I will say that we went at night, so not sure if that make a difference.

Don't want to make it a habit, but I was in the area, so I wanted to grab a drink, I switched it up and got the weekender, it was refreshing and gave me a nice boost with the caffeine! Check this place out, dirty sodas are very tasty!

Finally got over here with no wait. The service was amazing. Quick and very friendly. A lot to choose from so I asked for suggestions. The pretzel bites were hot and so soft. You could choose between white cheddar cheese or strawberry cream for your dipping sauce. Tried the Guava Have It, which is Mountain Dew based and it was really good. A hint of coconut made it feel like a drink in paradise. The Dr. De Leche is Dr. Pepper based but sweeter and almost has a coffee taste, surprisingly good. I want to go back to try the Sweet Teas!

Come on who doesn't like a refreshing drink with any flavor you can imagine? Don't let the long line for you. It was wrapped around the building and we were on our way within 20 minutes. Try the happy camper with Dr Pepper! Super delicious and super smooth! Sugar cookies aren't bad either especially the coconut! Squeeze the lime on top of the icing for an added zing!

I randomly checked this place out after hearing about all the hype, I'd try this place again if there was a location closer or in the area but most likely not drive out of my way . The line was long as expected, it did wrap around the building. I got the Waikiki which was coke, with pineapple and coconut cream. It was decent but I'd ask for light or splash of cream. They gave the drink in a styrofoam cup which I thought was odd because I've only seen these drinks in clear plastic cups so it wasn't as aesthetically appealing.

Swig has opened 100 locations and to celebrate they had a $1 drink sale on Saturday. Drinks up to 24 ounces were only $1.00. Limit 2 per person. We arrived at 3:09 pm and were in line until 4:10 pm when we finally ordered our drinks. We received our drinks very quickly once we ordered. Since this was my first time going I ordered the Hula girl and the Riptide. Both are made with Sprite. My husband created his own with Sprite lemonade and raspberry syrup. I really enjoyed the hula girl and would get it again. Next time I will not wait over an hour for a drink.

    Large Founders

I ordered the salted pretzel bites and a large founders. The salted pretzels were definitely microwaved because they were hard as a rock which made them inedible. The founder drink was very mid. I've made better dirty sodas at home. I'm disappointed. Won't be back.

Swig is decent, part of the recent trend of absolutely embracing sugar. I've been here twice and I started off a little skeptical of this but the flavor mixtures are compelling. Gas stations might want to consider some syrups for their soft drinks if this catches on. Line is ridiculous for soda, but staff is friendly. I would recommend not going later in the day, you'll be waiting.

Greenwood has a Swig! We happened to stop by during their soft opening hours and got two drinks- the Riptide and Raspberry Dream. The staff was so friendly, conversational and patient with us while we were trying to figure out what to order off their extensive menu. This is a drive thru only location FYI. I really enjoyed the Riptide - it has Sprite, cranberry, raspberry & lime. Super summery and refreshing. My husband got the Raspberry Dream, which is Dr. Pepper, coconut & raspberry. Also excellent! We will definitely be back to try other drinks and maybe some cookies too.

Great drinks- fun and festive. Highly recommend the Shark Attack! The lobby is currently not open so be prepared to wait in the drive thru line. Despite the super long line, it moved pretty quickly and they have music playing. The sugar cookie was also great- it's thick but doesn't taste like your normal sugar cookie, almost more like a cake pop.

The drink was perfect and served quickly. The Greenwood, Indiana location always has the friendliest staff every time I visit.

We stopped in here towards the end of the night during their soft opening so the line was wrapped around the building however it didn't seem to take too terribly long to get thru. They are drive thru only right now not sure if that'll change once they are fully open so unfortunately I can't really comment on the atmosphere side. The girls were coming down the line cars and taking orders to make it easier at the window. However that did present a problem as we had ordered the pretzel bites and paid for them all the to be told at the window that they were out of them and they refused to substitute them for the mini chocolate chip cookies instead they did a refund and then ran a separate transaction for them. I got the riptide which is sprite, cranberry, raspberry puree and fresh lime. It's refreshing and you taste each of the ingredients I would definitely get again I do wish they had Sprite Zero though. Hubby got the Founder with Coke Zero instead of Diet Coke it also has sugar free coconut, fresh lime and coconut cream. It has a very island Caribbean taste to it. It taste like a Cuba Libre without the rum. Chocolate chip mini cookies are really good just a little strange them being very cold. Overall decent experience and looking forward to trying more options.

Buttery Beer and Guava Have It
    Michael R.

Seems like EVERY time we drive by here there is a line! Finally figured we should see exactly what we were missing.... We ordered a Buttery Beer and Guava Have It, and they both were good. There are over 90 choices so picking took a minute (or two) to decide. Kind of thought they are like a mocktail, or a very fancy soda. Some of them have lemonade, and I think they would be refreshing on a hot summer day. Will probably try something else whenever we have time to sit in line. p.s. You can also order online and pickup in store.

I've driven by the Bakery, so many times and wanted to stop, but I was always in a hurry. My sister and I went in and we each got a dessert and because it was four in the afternoon, we got decaffeinated coffee. The refills were free and we sat at the little counter like we were at a diner and enjoyed everything about this iconic little bakery. The decor is a eclectic. We just took our time and looked around and laughed at so many signs and odd little things that were placed over the years. On the way to the ladies room, you will find out that the gentleman that started the restaurant fought in one of the world wars, and you will see his worn out shoes, his uniforms, his letters of accommodation and Learn his story. Now let's get to the desserts. We shared some type of a wonderful lemon pastry and a black forest cake. Best black forest cake I've ever had. Savored every bite. We were able to buy the last of the springle's that they had made from Christmas. FYI, if you don't like black licorice don't buy Springerle's but you can only get them at Christmas because it's a German tradition and they won't work in the summertime because of the humidity. Things that I learned that day. We saw that they had a dinner menu with a huge variety of different bratwurst and assorted sausages that we would like to try sometime. We ended up spending an hour and a half in a beautiful little place that we thought we were just going to stop and grab desserts to go.

We got there early and were able to have some drinks and food, including the nachos. Man, I was not expecting BBQ sauce and like a mustardy sauce and cheese and it was flavor exploding, loved it. With the event we had catered pork/chicken as well as sides. Everything was great, the peppercorn dressing for the salad was so amazing, I would definitely think of a salad here in the future. The venue inside the space, with the car, is quaint with seating and you get to see everything happening outside the space as well. This last time, we were in the original Guggman Haus brewing building that houses the coffee. This is adorable! We had service the entire time, including a bartender and the beer. They made everything super easy and I would consider this space for a baby shower, bridal shower, etc. We had 25 people and it fit wonderfully. There is also outside space for overflow, so it makes it very reasonable. Now onto the beer! I had the IPA Riverside, very hazy with a great flavor. Then I went off the rocker and ordered some prickly pear drink, I was not expecting how good that was! Refreshing and light, easy to drink (probably too easy) and the flavor was perfect! Try it if you are there, it is a newer option. PROS: Parking easy, street and lot Many open spaces and areas to rent Games are included, so eat, drink and enjoy company They have trivia nights, woohoo CONS: Sometimes the food is not always a hit, nothing to state specifically today, but I recall in the past saying to myself, don't order that again. So, try everything and find what you like. The place is great and the beer/food options are good, so you will find something you like.

But it was good. I love the Spinach dip. This is great experience. If I am back in town, I would go this again and also will definitely recommend to my friends and family to go here.

On my first visit today, I had the Hot Wurst sausage sampler plate that was wonderful! But watch out for the spicy mustard! It's eye watering!! & the "original 6" beer sampler was delicious! The only (big) thing that tainted my experience was the extremely loud waitstaff having very, very loud conversations (it really shouldn't involve constant yelling & screaming), behind the scenes. Their voices echoed throughout the space & were a constant annoyance to an otherwise wonderful meal. That was a real dealbreaker for me. If it's the same next time, I won't be revisiting.

The old Bavarian charm remains throughout the restaurant. Our visit this time was prior to the MJ MUSICAL at Old National. It's right across the street. The staff is well aware of their diner's itinerary and backs certain you can enjoy cocktails, wine, and dinner in time for the 7:00 pm start time. I applaud that courtesy. It was evident that our server, Cindy was a seasoned employee (20 years). Her attention throughout our visit left us wanting for nothing. I noticed many times her surveying our table for refills, empty plates. Her big smile and friendly personality only added to the exceptional experience. The food is prepared in the traditional German style. It is rich and very filling. The portions are enormous. Our party enjoyed an appetizer of Brat & Kraut balls and entrees of Schnitzel Parm., Jäeger schnitzel, spinach dinner salad with hot bacon dressing and my favorite "Oxtail Soup". Just the item for a cold winter night. Patrons of OLD NATIONAL CENTER shows should start their evening off right with dinner at THE RATHSKELLER. You won't be disappointed.
