Every time I go here I have so much hope but I am deceived every time because you guys used to be so good and I would enjoy the food so much but it has gone downhill. every time I get a burrito it has less and less sauce and or absolutely no sauce none of the toppings are correct and it's just sad please do something about this. read more

The place is lively. Their food is unique. Service is good. If you're wanting Tex Mex fast food, give them a try. I often crave tacos and usually go to a few authentic joints as a regular on Yelp. However - I also get the unfortunate tummy ache with it. Almost like a burning sensation afterwards. With sweeto burrito, the ingredients they put in their tacos and burritos are so much more familiar with me. I don't mind paying a little extra as long as I don't have to pay the real price in the end. read more

This was the saddest food truck visit I've ever had. We went to the Lehi Food Truck Round Up and had Sweeto Burrito and Mad Mac (can't seem to find it on here yet). Both were 2 stars. I had the Sweeto Burrito, which has sweet pork, lime rice, and not a whole lot of flavor. As far as I could tell there was no option for any kind of hot sauce or spice on it, and quite frankly it was just bland. The pork was okay, but a little dry on some bites. The rice wasn't anything special. Nothing else sticks out about it. I went for a combo with tater tots, but they were out of drinks. Instead I just got a side of tots. The tots were okay, nothing special though. They fell apart really easily, which made it an absolute pain to eat on. Each time I'd pick one up it would just fall apart. Dip it in fry sauce, watch it break apart and dissolve into the sauce, repeat and hope for better results. Overall it was just a disappointing visit. Some of the rest of their menu looked decent, but I'm not sure if I will risk it in the future. read more

Flavorless burrito . I asked for salsa and was told it was on the inside of the burrito... but I seriously couldn't taste much of anything. Had to gag down this tasteless meal because I have a long days work and needed lunch for fuel. read more

Got to know Sweeto Burrito as a food truck. Now they opened this restaurant I can satisfy my Sweeto Burrito cravings whenever I want!! The Buff Chick is my new fav. Crispy chicken and tator tots wrapped up in a burrito?! Yes, please! I thought the Sweeto burrito was so-so. While it was still a nice burrito the Buff Chick was just more interesting to my personal preferences. Again, crispy chicken and tator tots are hard to trump. The interior of the restaurant is hip and comfortable. However, it's not very large and I can imagine it to be difficult to find a table during rush hour. I ordered take out and noticed many others doing the same. And the wait was only 10min to get an order of 3 burritos and a side of tator tots. read more

We have friends who love this place so my husband and I thought we would give it a try. He would rate it as a 4. Nice atmosphere and decorations pretty busy place. Fast causal like a cafe rio. My husband got the middle weight Buff Chick burrito. He loved the uniqueness of it. Tator tots and chicken with hot sauce. Kind of small for the price and ingredients. But he thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought it was okay. It really seemed like food you could make easily and home but it was convenient to come here. I had the Smokehouse burrito and wanted half cilantro ranch and half hot sauce. They don't do that and you have to pay $1 more for the sauce. Oh well. The onion rings were nice. But nothing really special about the burrito. Good flavors. read more

Sweeto Burrito has great food and a good variety of choices. Never had a bad meal. The only reason for 4 stars is the cost. For the price I expect more inside the burrito or salad. There was a miniscule about of pork in my last burrito. Summary: Excellent food. Ok value. read more

Sweeto Burrito--Orem - Inside the restaurant. - Mexican Near Me - Orem, Utah

Burritos are really good! You should try the smokehouse! My wife loves the white chick. They have vegan, gluten free and a wide range of other ways of eating. Pricing is around $7 a person with a drink. Food is delicious. This last time was my 5th time eating here. It's totally with the drive! Great for groups or even a date night out. read more

The first time I had sweeto I was a fan. Every time since it has been very disappoint. Tonight I had the Carne Asada burrito, it was really a jerky burrito. The steak was sooo dry. The past few burritos have had a gross amount of sauce in them. I gave two stars because their kids meals are a fantastic price and they have good fries. read more

This place has a special place in my heart. I religiously get the buff chick burrito each visit and it is sooo good. It's almost big enough to make two meals out of it. It's also hard to pass up their delicious tater tots, it's the perfect side with the burrito. The service is always quick, the staff are professional and friendly, and the space is clean. read more

I got the Break Neck which is the best breakfast burrito I've ever had! It was full of fried eggs, bacon chunks, crispy tots, and some kind of magical tasty sauce. It came out fast and the folks were super friendly. My wife got the Sweeto Burrito which is a sort of run-of-the-mill sweet pork burrito. It was pretty good, but not better than, say, Cafe Rio's sweet pork burrito. However, for some reason they didn't put rice on the Sweeto. The bag with our food said "no rice". Here's where the customer service was AMAZING. I went back to the truck and told them the problem. The guy dressed in business casual (I think he was the owner) dropped everything to make a new burrito for my wife--no questions asked--and made it double size to boot. He came out to find us with a big smile on his face. I hope they come to north Utah County more often! I want to try all the other crazy burrito flavors they have, like the buffalo chicken (Buff Chick) and the peanut sauce Thai Fighter. Definitely worth the $6, and while some have complained that the sizes are small, they must be used to eating supersized elephant meals. I was full and very satisfied with my "lightweight" portion. read more

The customer service is great. I just went there a couple of minutes ago and their dining room was closed so I'm one of the employees outside and I asked him if I could possibly get some service and sure enough five minutes later I was able to get a small fry and they didn't even have to give me service so if they were 10 stars on yelp I definitely do it read more

This place has totally died in the last few months. So disappointed because it used to be a favorite place to go. no dine in at the moment and only drive through 5-close. With that being said, you'd think the drive through would be extra fast. Not the case. In fact the lights were off on the drive through menu so we didnt even know they were open. burritos are now the size of a baked potato so not getting your moneys worth. No chicken available. card machine didn't work, so we had to try another card. (Believe me it was not a card issue, the gal even admitted the machine was having problems) soda Machine ran out or syrup and they didn't notice that a Dr Pepper shouldn't be clear. hopefully they get things turned around shortly so I can look forward to coming back again! read more

I got to try this truck out for the first time today even though I've seen it quite a bit at Vivint Corporate. I always see a decent amount of people in line whenever I see the truck so I figured people must have been liking the goods. Turns out there's some truth behind the hype. I was able to try the "All-American" burrito and I'm happy I made that choice, although the burritos with tater tots in them were also calling my name (the All-American has fries instead). It appeared to have some ground beef and fries and sauce smothering the insides and it didn't make me feel good about myself, but it was pretty tasty. If I'm around this truck again and one of my top trucks isn't there then I would definitely head back. read more

They are genius for partnering with uber eats! I would have never tried this place if they weren't (at the time) one of the three restaurants on uber eats. And quite frankly as more restaurants go onto uber eats the less likely I am to ever go to this place again. I got two different types of burritos... one was brisket and mac n cheese, which I was so pumped for. And the mac n cheese was dry and had little to no cheese flavor... fortunately I am good in a pinch and I opened the burrito and soaked it in their queso that I also ordered. This did the trick but the burrito could not stand on its own. The other burrito I got I am sure was just a normal one... sweet pork or something? Obviously not memorable. The portions are huge for the price that you pay but the flavor is lacking Now the queso... that stuff is delightful but you have to eat it quick because it can get gross pretty quick. It has a shelf life of about 2 hours and then it is all crusted over and such. THE VERDICT: Hard pass. Yesterday I saw a lot of businesses moving to the uber eat which can only mean potential doom for sweeto burrito. I hope that they find a way to manage but I will not be going back anytime soon. I can't recommend it... but I can recommend the queso. Mmmmmm queso. read more

HORRIBLE!! Stuck in the drive thru with a crying baby for almost an hour. Even at the window after I had paid I waited FOREVER. Insane. Never going there again. Update: after waiting all that time, I drove away only to notice my bag only had one burrito (I ordered and paid for 2). I called them and they asked if I wanted to come in (no, I have 3 cranky kids after waiting an hour in the drive thru). I asked them to please just bring it out to my car. I got home and realized the first one they gave me wasn't even the right burrito (buff chick instead of white chick--totally different burrito). Threw half of it away. So gross. Definitely never returning. read more

Sweeto Burrito is not a typical burrito place. Their burritos are unique. I have been here several times and the service has been great, not only that, I crave their burritos! My favorite is their "Buff Chick" I highly recommend this place to anyone. Keep it up Sweeto!! read more

Sweeto Burrito--Orem - Even the kids love this place!! - Mexican Near Me - Orem, Utah

It's sad to see how much this place has declined since it first opened. And it's evident that the people have noticed since it was empty when I went. I got the signature Sweeto Burrito and I'm not exaggerating when I say that you could find more meat in a .99 cent burrito at Taco Bell than this disappointment. The person taking the orders was very rude. Don't bother with this place anymore. Clearly its popularity has been its downfall. read more

This place has gone so downhill it's a bummer. A year or two ago it was great and I would go multiple times a week. Now every time I try to go there's an issue. The burritos keep getting smaller, fries were switched up completely and now are school cafeteria-like. I just tried to go ten minutes ago and they told me they were closed and ran out of food. Yet the took the orders of the two cars in front of me. And it was 7:40, 20 minutes before the posted closing time. I've come another time and they were just closed completely-- this was also a time it should have been opened , per the posted hours. Will not be trying to come again. No wonder other locations have closed down... smfh read more

I've been wanting to come to this place for a few years, and I had hope that it would taste good. Honestly, the menu makes the burritos sound really good but what we received did not taste as good as it sounded. My husband and I ordered the Carne Assassin and it was the tiniest burrito I've ever eaten, especially for $8. My husband barely got any steak in his, and my steak pieces were large, uncut, and rubbery; couldn't even tear the pieces apart with my teeth lol! The flavor was sweet and mildly spicy which wasn't a good combination. The onion rings had a hint of banana flavor?? Mind you, we were definitely NOT expecting authentic Mexican food, but it was still disappointing even for an American burrito. Staff was friendly, but service was very slow. Not many people were in the restaurant or drive thru, and not all employees were busy. Atmosphere was great but the cleanliness was terrible. There's more burritos that sound good but honestly I don't think I'll be coming back. read more

Terrible. Super soggy and the tortillas weren't even homemade. Should have got the hint when no one was there on a Friday night

A little too fast food for us. Fries and onion rings overcooked with a weird aftertaste. The burritos were well wrapped but everything seemed to blend together in one texture. Not very fresh tasting or individual ingredients popping. The bacon was very pre cooked according to my husband. It fit the bill for a picnic but wasnt really an ideal date night treat. read more

First time trying and from quality, quantity, and price this is a 3 star restaurant. Now this is a Americanized Mexican food if you couldn't already tell which isn't a bad thing. The main reason it's only 3 stars instead of 4 is because of portion sizes. The size of the burritos are smaller than other restaurants for the same price. The flavors are interesting but I don't get why Mexican food in Utah is sweet whether it's this place or Costa Vida. Living in Arizona and California we never had sweet Mexican food. read more

I've been way too forgiving of this place. The first time we came, about a year ago, it was pretty good. Staff was nice, food was fresh--very happy. The last 2-3 times, there have been issues that have made me sad and angry. Whether it's too much dressing/sauce, old/cold meat, or not-filled-to-capacity burritos, there is always something. Not again, Sweeto Burrito. Not again. read more

I placed an online order to be picked up at 1:15. I got here a little early at 1:05 and they told me it would be just a few more minutes. I waited 35 minutes PAST my pick up time! Our sides were completely cold, I don't understand why when we waited so long after our pick up time why it wasn't fresh and hot. They forgot one of my sons food. And they also put a ton of seasoning all over every single side as well as the kids chicken strips that had a bit of a spicy kick to it so my kids did not eat their food because it was too spicy. It is not advertised that they put the seasoning on everything or else I would've ordered it without. My other son got a kids quesadilla and I thought they forgot the cheese because of how little there was!! It was basically just tortilla. The sweeto burrito has no flavor, the pork wasn't sweet and so bland! Very disappointed especially after spending $45 and driving 25 minutes just to get here. Do not recommend! read more

So the food is good. Don't order online!! It is a solid hour wait. It said that it would be 25-45. Naturally I showed up after 30 minutes, and I am sitting waiting. It wouldn't be a problem if there weren't 5-6 employees, not working hard to serve 2 walk-in customers. The 2 walk ins came in after me, and I am still waiting for my food. I just checked the app and it is now saying it will not be ready until 1 hour after I placed my order. If you are just going in and not ordering online, it is fine. I am just irritated because they have had 45 minutes to make my 4 burritos, yet I am waiting and watching them serve drive through and walk-ins. One of the dudes has just been throwing looks my way as he wonders around the store without urgency. It is sucky because it's good food. read more

Ummm, noooo! Okay, don't get me wrong. I am a huge fan of fresh mex. But this place get's a huge thumbs down for gross. Big prices, and very small portions. We ordered the Carne Assassin big boy size 18oz. It was $10 bucks of yuck! The rice they use is not flavored, it's just plain ol' white rice. The black beans also zero flavor. For $10 we expected the bomb burrito. Next was the bowler at $6.50. This was another HUGE let down. I was excited for the taste of fresh lime rice, juicy chicken pieces and black yummy beans. This bowler was mostly rice, very little toppings. A few tiny pieces of chicken and it was very fatty. The rice and beans again, whyyyy!!! There was no flavor here. I am hoping Sweeto Burrito will bring back the flavor, because it is seriously lacking here for the price. I sadly will not be back to this place, unless the company reaches out with a generous apology for their sad food. :( read more

Sweeto Burrito is one of the best burritos money can buy. My favorite option on the menu is the Carne Assassin. The mix of flavors and ratio of meat to rice and other fillings warms my heart. The other menu item that we go crazy for is the chips and queso. Thick and so creamy. Gooey and warm all they way down your gullet. I've heard good things about the Street Tacos but haven't tried them yet. Having a bad day? You need some Sweeto. read more

Not my cup of tea. A bit on the small size for the price, served on a piece of paper on a tray. Carne assassin was like mouthful of garlic. However, the place seemed clean enough. So many other great Tex mex options around here. read more

I'm a decently big fan of Sweeto Burrito. Very nice flaky fried stuff, awesome bacon, and really fluffy eggs. I got the Break Neck with Cheddar cheese instead of American cheese (because it's the worst thing that has America in the name) and it was one of those things that is absolutely to die for the first time you bite into it and kinda mediocre by the end. I liked it, but the sauce soaks into the bottom making it kinda rough to finish off. My wife got the White Chick and it was alright. We would give this a 3.5 star out of 5 if we could. read more

Good tasting fast food. The burritos are stuffed with meat and other ingredients. The tater tots are deep fried which gives them a great crunchy outer shell. I had the Carnivore and the White Chick burritos. Both are great. read more

Underwhelming for me. Came because I had a free Burrito gift card but would never feel inclined to spend money here. I get what they are trying to do but the flavors just aren't working, for me ranch just does not belong in a burrito. I'll stick to going for traditional burritos read more

I frickin love burritos so much so I can only naturally give a burrito place 4 stars. It is a solid burrito, offering a saucy and gooey distinction from its competition. I mean that literally too. It is good enough to have often if it's nearby. But not good enough to travel over long distance for. They have an open kitchen design which is fun but they need to keep things cleaner if that's how they're gonna do it. I personally don't care but some people are crazy and can find the mess offensive. I'm a little confused why they kept the same kitchen as they had in the food truck. Very small and cramped and they misjudged that. It doesn't matter how well you worked in a food truck, welcome to brick and mortar life. This would be my only serious complaint...try to keep things cleaner, or have a closed kitchen. Is there anything special about sweeto burrito? Not at all. It tasted like the grilled stuffed burrito from Taco Bell which isn't a bad thing at all. I love Taco Bell! A little expensive for the money you pay. They're lemonades were good but once again pricey. This is a solid 3.5 star establishment read more

I once was a Sweeto Burrito virgin. I had never been to one of their food trucks, but I had seen them around town ALL. THE. TIME. I knew I needed to try it but I was never in the mood to give it a go. Now, as they have opened an actual restaurant in Orem/Lindon, I decided it was time to give it a go. My mom and I went on a cute little lunch date. My mom got the signature Sweeto Burrito, and I ordered the Break Neck. I was SUPER in love with my burrito and loved the flavor of the sauce inside of it. Also there were tator tots and bits of egg inside which just threw me into a daze of pure bliss. My mom loved her burrito, but I preferred mine to hers. The location itself is rather small. It's in the old Kneader's building. I'm sure they could do well to expand, but having since just opened, it could take awhile. Also, I'm sure they might slow down a bit after the initial excitement of their grand opening is over. The service was quick and kind and appreciated. Let me sell you on them, right here, right now. Ladies... have you ever gone in a bathroom and wished you could put lotion on or spritz yourself with some body spray before exiting? LOOK NO FURTHER.
