However, the situation became unacceptable when our infant child was seated in a high chair. The server brought plastic wrap, duct tape, and scissors toward the table and attempted to "wrap" the high chair area while saying that "kids make a mess." When I asked what she was doing, her behavior and comments felt completely inappropriate, offensive, and deeply upsetting. After that, the server repeatedly returned to our table with what we felt was hostile and abusive behavior toward our child and family. Even though we had already ordered nearly $200 worth of food, we chose to leave because no parent should ever feel their child is being mistreated. Children cannot always speak for themselves, especially infants and toddlers, and they deserve to be treated with kindness, patience, and dignity everywhere they go. I strongly encourage families and parents to think carefully before supporting businesses where children are not treated respectfully. This experience was heartbreaking for our family, and I hope the restaurant takes this matter seriously and ensures no other child or family experiences something similar again.
