I came across Valley Star Events and they had the most perfect peacock chair to match my vision of what I wanted this shower to be. I reached out and the process of rental was so easy and not expensive. A few days later I realized I would need tables and chairs Ivette the owner was helpful and added them to my invoice. As we were discussing the chairs and tables she sent me photos and then I saw the most adorable tent, and I had to have it. The owner was Very kind, and very helpful she answered all my questions and made sure everything went smooth on my party day, and now I won't use anyone else for my party planning needs.

First off, working with her was a dream. She was always extremely attentive when it came to communication, both via text and email. I don't think I'd go more than 24 hours without hearing from her, which is something rare now a days for some reason. Also, she breaks down prices concisely, which I really appreciated because there were no hidden fees or surprises when it came to the grand total. She also works with you from start to finish, scheduling an initial planning meeting (this took place at our venue) where she listens and jots down what you expect as well as adding her own artistic design/thought. She even took charge and kept in constant communication with my venue manager, which took a lot of stress of my shoulders. The day of the shower, the dessert table was absolutely beautiful! The desserts were intricate, unique, DELICIOUS, and you can just tell she put in so much effort when it came to every aspect. I got so many compliments on this. I highly recommend Rachel J Special Events, Inc. for any and all occasions! She's just such a professional at what she does.

Planning a baby shower from Texas for an event in California could have been stressful, but Teena…read moreat Athena Event Studio made the entire process seamless. She was wonderful to work with--always responding promptly, sending additional photos whenever I had questions, and offering extra rental items on-site so I didn't have to coordinate with multiple vendors. What you see online is exactly what you get, which I really appreciated. The venue itself is beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. The indoor space was perfect for our event, and the kitchen easily accommodated our professional catering team. Everything was clean, organized, and ready for us when we arrived. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 has nothing to do with Teena or the venue itself. My only concern was the surrounding area. While unloading decorations, we were approached by a homeless individual who was shouting nearby, which was a little unsettling. Parking was also somewhat limited, and I found myself worrying about our guests. Having worked in Northridge about 10 years ago, I remember it feeling much different than it does today. That said, this isn't a reflection on Teena or Athena Event Studio. She was an outstanding host, and the venue exceeded my expectations. I simply wanted future guests to be aware of the surrounding neighborhood so they can plan accordingly. I would absolutely recommend Athena Event Studio and would gladly work with Teena again.

WOW! Is all I have to say about Michael and this company…read more I inquired about a quote for a Dee Jay for my birthday party and sent a request through their site. Shortly after, Michael called me and we talked about my party and what I was looking for. I saw on the site, they also offer Photobooths so I asked if it was possible to make a slight change to the photobooth and personalize it a bit for my party and sure enough, they were able to accommodate! I booked a DeeJay and Photobooth package. I got directed to their client login site (awesome) and I was able to include music, change and edit the timeline and add special requests of music. That client site made it so easy to plan my party the way I wanted it to be. DJ Cali was my DJ, she showed up looking gorgeous for my fancy birthday and she was ready to hype up the party as needed. All the music I had asked for were played and during our special dance...the Dancing on Clouds added such an emotional touch to our heartfelt song. It was BEYOND BEAUTIFUL! Professional, Communicative, Efficient and Wonderful would be the best words to describe what you are paying for when You decide to book them for an event. It isn't always easy to come by, but when you have an opportunity to work with good people, you just do! I'm very happy with the way everything turned out.
