You know it's bad when there's almost as many 1 star reviews as there are 5. My boyfriend got me a…read morebouquet of black roses for our anniversary as they're my favorite but when he brought them they had such a strong smell of spray paint and were literally still wet, paint smeared onto the leaves and paper. Not only that, it was so splotchy you could see red spots peaking out. And before she complains, the pictures below were taken day of minutes after he got home. I had to leave it on the dining table and it still reeked days later filling the living room with the smell. We went in 3 days later to talk to someone about it as we were completely dissatisfied with the quality and poor paint job. Mind you, although there's no natural black roses, the water is dyed so they come out black. You should only need touch ups with spray paint, not douse the entire damn bouquet. It was literally such a hack job and the woman up front was no help. She made it clear as soon as we came in that we were not going to get a full refund. She said the order was filled and picked up so there was nothing she can do. Mind you, she literally said they were such a hot commodity that they sell out fast. So the roses I received weren't even the "black roses" they were fully red roses completely spray painted black. She said it was a last minute order and they had to make do. No? If you can't fulfill it properly why didn't you contact him telling him that? Don't just half ass it and think it's okay? It was a $70 bouquet for quite literally only a dozen roses and some baby's breath as a filler. Complete rip off. Not like my boyfriend knows flower pricing but you can literally get a dozen roses for under $20 anywhere. And baby's breath is so cheap literally a couple dollars a bundle. This lady wanted to have attitude the whole time and talk to me like I'm a child as if I don't know how flower arrangements are made. She also wanted to cry about how I came in 5 days later to resolve it when I said no it's been 3. He got them over the weekend which they close early on at 2pm and we work overnights so it's not necessarily convenient to wake up early to bring these back especially since we don't even live in the area, they were just on his way to his barber. I requested to speak with the owner and she had me stand around for 20 minutes for them to be available, just for me to not even be able to speak to them but instead her explain her side of the story to them over the phone and telling me it's the same outcome as she said. The worst thing is I'm not even the first person to complain about this exact situation! There's another review saying they got wet stank black roses and how crusty they look. The only reason this flower shop is still surviving is because they're conveniently located across from a cemetery. They probably assume these crappy flowers are going to be left at someone's poor tombstone so who cares if they're natty looking. A tip of advice, fix your attitude if you expect people to return to you. You're not getting brownie points for having your head up your owner's ass.

Shop refused to reimburse or replace. No text or call to recipient to tell her the flowers were delivered. (EDIT: the delivery driver apparently did call to say there was a delivery. But apparently the call was so rushed they couldn't be bothered to say what exactly was being delivered.
