I was not part of the committee that selected Great Event Solutions to do Tuesday Senior Dance Club's 60th Anniversary photo background. As the Club Auditor, it's my role to review and evaluate the results of all the club's business transactions. The 5 star I gave this firm reflects my complete satisfaction of the services it provided us on 12/5/18 at Odyssey Restaurant in Granada Hills. Our event venue was in San Diego and they traveled all the way from LA. So professional, they were in the venue hours before their setup time. The owner/s are very friendly and easy to deal with. They are so creative and they customize the design of your decorations based on your theme and color motif. They make their own decorations so it's unique and more personalized. They design, prepare & assemble most of the decors ahead of time so they install them pretty quickly to meet the timeline. They work fast and diligently, with lots of attention to detail. Perfection is their goal and they take pride in their work. I highly recommend them, but of course, you should be willing to pay for the cost to get what you want. Overall, great customer service! read more

Meet the Business Owner: Teena A.

I started this business together with my supportive husband. I always enjoy planning events for our families and even did it for our very own wedding. Making our own memento, program outline, table setting, fabulous decorations, planning food that goes with the theme and prospective guests - we have done and delivered all those and received great feedback from people who witness our events. With their encouragement and with our shared interest and love for events planning and management, we decided to put it out there and help others achieve having stress-free events while doing what we love to do. We are both licensed Project Management Professional (PMP) and have years of strong quality management experiences which add huge value to being an Events Planner. We know how to deliver quality outputs on time and within budget.

They cobble together a bouquet of flowers, charged me the same exact price, for a couple dozen roses, and call it a day. I told them I wanted an arrangement, not some roses wrapped up in paper. Otherwise I would walk over to Trader Joe's, buy some roses and wrap them myself. What they gave me as the final product is something truly anyone could've done. She shoved some green twigs in there and called it an arrangement. There was zero artistic vision or preparation, and this is not what people come to a florist shop for. This business relies on their lower price point to get customers in, but when it comes to artistic execution, there is nothing there. I came here for an expert to implement their floral skills to make something beautiful. What I got, in short, was just a plain bunch of flowers. This is not what people want to pay a premium for in requesting a professionally made flower arrangement. I am so disappointed, it ruined my contribution to an event I was attending, I will not return. I truly wanted to cry.

I am so happy that I have met Teena- the owner. She did an extra very good job for my centerpieces for my wedding reception. I was amazed by her positive gesture, and she is really very helpful to me. I really can't complain about anything, Teena and Gilbert were both so on point, and I must say hands-on, they made sure that their customers will be happy and satisfied with their great job. I have so much to be thankful for these two beautiful people. they even helped me do my last minute change for my invites. My hat is off to you both. I called several planners in the area and Teena was the only one who sounded like she really wanted to work with me and patiently answered ALL of my questions. I sent her examples/pictures of the balloon garland I wanted and she was confident that she would be able to deliver a special Baby Shark themed 2nd birthday for my daughter. She was right - her execution was perfect, beyond what I had expected, and a million times better than the pictures I showed her! Teena and her team really cares about delivering what the client wants and she made me feel very comfortable about giving feedback and input. Despite being extremely busy with other events, Teena put a lot of effort and time into my daughter's birthday.
