It has taken me all day today to consider whether or not to write a review because I never got to experience their services. Yesterday evening on my way home from work I found Cabrera's on my Yelp because I needed balloons for a co-workers birthday and their Yelp states they open at 7am which worked out perfectly for me because that meant I can stop in on my way to work the next day (today). I called and a woman answered I told her I needed some balloons, about 10, and she said she could help me and told me the price. I told her I would come by to pick up the next day and she told me that I had to order them, pay and then pick-up, which I had no problem doing, but then she asked me what time I planned on coming in the morning and I told her when they open, around 7am. She let out a little grunt and told me instead of ordering now to just call her in the morning when I'm on my way and advised me her business is run out of her home. This morning as I was leaving my house (it was past 7am), I called and got no answer; I left a message. A few minutes later, I called again and NO ANSWER. I had to rush to a local Von's and buy their balloons. I'm really disappointed because I really wanted to try this business and perhaps make it my new go-to balloon spot. If my order was too "small" for what she is accustomed to I would have appreciated her telling me so that I didn't have to scramble at the last minute. read more
