Magic Jump Rentals - Party Supplies Near Me - Sylmar, California

If you ask how can you ruin a 5 year olds birthday party? Well let me tell you magic jump rentals is your people! I hired them to bring a castle jumper for my daughter's birthday party. Let me remind you we've had bigger jumpers 13x13 in the same location I was trying to place this jumper at. The driver inflated the jumper and said it was too close to my fence and it was a hazard! The driver was jumping inside like a maniac and said " yeah see it's too close " no kid weighs as much as him and they were not going be going crazy like he was! It's a 5 year old birthday party! Not a wrestling match! I mentioned to him there was at least 3 feet Clearance. I rented the 10x10 from them just in case they wanted to make it a big deal and they did! Worst of it all my daughter saw this jumper arrive and get taken away! Completely crushed her! I spent $175 on this rental and I wasn't able to get a refund! Straight robbed me for my money! This Is what I get trying to use a new jumper company! So luckily I contacted the jumper company I've been using for years. CAL JUMP RENTALS. not only did they brought me a jumper within 2 hours , but they brought me a 13x13 castle jumper and had no issues at all with the installation or placement , way cheaper too! I won't be using your services in the future and people should be aware of your scams. read more

I rented a water slide for my daughter's birthday party, and unfortunately, the delivery and pickup experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. When the delivery driver arrived, he asked if we could provide an extension cord, which I found surprising since I would expect the necessary equipment to be provided by the rental company. Throughout the delivery, he also appeared visibly frustrated and seemed as though he did not want to be there. For the pickup, we were told he would arrive around 8:00 PM, but he did not arrive until close to 9:00 PM. At that point, the water had not yet been completely drained. Rather than allowing us the time to finish draining it safely, he communicated that he had other things to do and needed to leave. While we were in the process of draining the pool, he took it upon himself to remove the bottom of the pool so that the remaining water could drain out more quickly. The problem was that two of my guests were standing directly in front of the area, one of whom was a senior citizen. Suddenly, a large amount of water rushed out like a river, creating a significant slipping hazard. Thankfully, no one was injured, but this could have easily resulted in someone falling. Several guests' shoes were also soaked in the process. Overall, I found the entire experience to be completely unprofessional and lacking consideration for the safety of our guests. Given the amount we paid for the rental, I expected a much higher level of customer service, professionalism, and care. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this company. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses how deliveries and pickups are handled in the future. read more

Great experience with Magic Jump Rentals! We rented the 5-in-1 Star Wars Combo and loved it. I checked several rental companies, and Magic Jump had by far the best selection with lots of unique options I couldn't find elsewhere. Their website made it easy to see availability, delivery was earlier than expected, pickup was on time, and the inflatable was clean. Communication was clear and easy throughout. Would definitely rent from them again! read more

Stay away. The bouncy castle was filthy and clearly did not appear to be properly cleaned or sanitized. After our party, several children and adults, including myself, became sick. I'm also not the only reviewer raising concerns about the company's unhygienic practices and reporting that multiple groups of customers became sick after using their inflatables. This raises serious concerns about whether the inflatables are being properly cleaned and sanitized between rentals. I would never rent from them again and would strongly advise others to think twice before booking. read more

0 stars!!! Take your business elsewhere because this company has excuses for everything and will steal your money. I order a small 10x10 jumper and made sure my measurements were correct to fit the 15x15 requirement. However, I forgot about the height, my bad. So, I asked to take it in the backyard and I would pay the fee for the steps, which the guy had to count every step in order to calculate my fee. Money was not the issue and just wanted my son to have a great birthday but the delivery driver was super rude and stated he did not have a long enough cord. So, I told him no problem my husband will go buy a 20ft extension cord because you can't double up the cords, no problem. I was willing to go buy it and then his excuse was that it would not put out enough power even though I have a whole entire separate studio in the backyard with its own power. The man made every excuse to not take the jumper downstairs and had stated I would need a generator and I said okay that is fine and I will pay for the generator but he stated that they didn't carry any when it states clearly on the website that they do. So, they ended up canceling my scheduled appointment for the jumper and refused to give me any of my money back even though I was willing to pay and work around every obstacle that he threw at me. Horrible service and will not recommend to anyone unless you wish to loose out on $294 dollars then be my guest and schedule. read more

I'll start by saying that I have rented from magic jump in the past and I never had an issue. Recently 06/28/26 we rented a mini mouse jumper for my 2 year old nieces birthday. Unfortunately, I was not there during drop off so I didn't get to inspect it upon its arrival. Jumper did however arrive early and was picked up on time. Jumper was visibly dirty, inclusive of candy wrappers and grass from previous uses. Let me say that the worst part was that two days later EVERYONE who was in the jumper became ill, fever, nausea vomiting and a horrible case of hands foot and mouth disease. Nobody was sick prior to the event. I called to speak to a manager and I never got a call back. The very LEAST they could have done was reimburse us our money. I HOPE NOBODY ELSE RENTS THE MINNIE MOUSE JUMPER OPTION ITS DEFINITELY CONTAMINATED WITH DISEASE. read more

Last year, we rented a water slide for my daughters graduation celebration. The service was amazing. Friendly staff & customer services was great. We shortly after entered in the photo contest they had going on, surprisingly we won! We had up until a year to redeem the water slide rental. Today I called to redeem it. I spoke with Vanessa. She was exceptional. Very kind & worked with us to get our date requested. She took her time to review our account & provide information we needed. Definitely great customer service provided by Vanessa. We will definitely continue to rent from Magic Jump Rentals. read more
