( sorry I forgot the name) The ice cream was delicious, as always. The customer service is impeccable. And the place is always super clean. It had loads of charm and offered amble seating. But, the true highlight was the breadth of unique gelato flavors that were on display in their large counters. Some of the more creative varieties that evening were Greek Yogurt with Figs, Roche Chocolate Hazelnut, and Kinder Bueno. I typically need to steer clear of dairy, so I was eager to see what they had in terms of vegan options. Unfortunately, on that evening, the only creamy, non-dairy flavor was Strawberry, which I sampled and found artificial tasting. So, I was then left with only sorbet options of lemon, passionfruit, raspberry, and mango. Sorbet can often be too sweet or too icy in texture, so I was bummed, but I really wanted to get something. I settled on a small cup, which was absurdly expensive at $9, but still allowed me the opportunity to try two flavors. I went with the passionfruit and the raspberry, and I have to say, that both were fantastic! They offered really ripe flavor, while also tasting clean, not artificial, and not super sugary. I was very impressed. I also tried the smallest tastes of the Blueberry Cream, Banana Pudding, and Coffee scoops from family members and had similar sentiments that they were very natural tasting. In fact, the Banana Pudding tasted more like a mashed, frozen banana than a sugar-laden pudding. Bianco Nero certainly delivered on the claims from their website about their creative flavors, their top-tier ingredients, and their playful presentation within their display case and on their fun sprinkle-bedazzled cones. There site also mentioned the shop being a real destination, and I agree that it was a true foodie experience worth the visit.

They started out as a gourmet chocolatier in 1878, and later expanded into artisanal gelato in 2007. The store is located on the first floor of Garden State Plaza near the food court. You can't miss it because the interior is absolutely STUNNING from top to bottom. It looks like a designer boutique, decorated with ice cream cones, walls of chocolate products, and floral wallpaper. Even the packaging is beautiful and feels high-end. Luxurious, darling~ I stopped by on a Friday night and was greeted warmly. From the colorful walls of chocolate bars to the stainless steel counter lined with a rainbow of gelato flavors, I didn't know where to look first! I made a beeline for the gelato. It's freshly made in small batches every day. They offer classic Italian flavors like tiramisu, pistachio, and hazelnut, along with fruity sorbets and more chocolate heavy options. The staff generously let me sample as many as I wanted to. Most are also gluten-free and vegan. You choose a cup or cone, pick your size, and even upgrade to a gourmet version if you want to add a chocolate spread + toppings. Prices are steeeeeeeeep, so I just chose a small cup of the Chocoviar Mango ($7.95)-- a mix of mango and milk chocolate with crunchy white chocolate pearls. Many ingredients are imported from Italy, and they pride themselves on using natural ingredients without artificial flavors or coloring. So naturally, the gelato was delicious! I loved the silky, dense texture. The mango was tangy and refreshing. My favorite part was the milk chocolate bar topping-it had that creamy, melt-in-your-mouth sweetness that cut through the tartness of the mango. Don't forget to browse their selection of gourmet chocolates, gift boxes, and hazelnut spreads. There's no doubt I'll be back to satisfy my sweet tooth! Yes, it's pricey, but that first spoonful made it feel worth it! I should've gotten another scoop. LOL.

There's also a printed sign proclaiming a limit of 2 samples, which is not enough; they have like 20 flavors. That said, I felt my mint chocolate chip was perfect: creamy and minty. The small size was $8 for a cup (and would've been +$1 for a waffle cone). I fully agree with other posters about how the staff is not nearly excited enough to be working in a gelato shop. Are their managers that bad?

Rows and rows of vibrant, beautifully swirled gelato in every flavor imaginable Ordered the dubai chocolate flavor and also the tiramisu and cookies and cream. All of them were bomb. The gelato is incredibly smooth, creamy, and packed with real flavor. None of that icy or artificial taste you sometimes get with the supermarket brands. Staff lets you have free samples to taste so you can know which one to order. I love that you can watch them scoop it with care. It really feels like a little work of art in a cup or cone. They also have a great selection of gelato bars and popsicles if you're in the mood for something handheld. The staff is always friendly and patient, especially when you're standing there overwhelmed by all the delicious options. There is also a see through glass where you can see how the gelato is prepared in the back. Whether you're shopping, hitting the water park, or just need a sweet pick-me-up, Lucciano's delivers every time. Fresh, high-quality ingredients and generous portions. If you're in the mall and have a sweet tooth, do yourself a favor and stop here. You won't be disappointed!

The store was basically empty on the Sunday before the major black that happened on Monday. The two men near the register were chit chatting with each other and they hesitated to even come to assist us. As we browsed the Gelato options from left to right for a brief moment we then noticed a family of about five people came in. We immediately noticed the difference in response time to this family's arrival. One of the employees immediately went over towards our left as they entered and said, "Guys, when you are ready to order come over by the cash register." This is why it is important for business owners to train the people they hire about appropriate customer service because although the employees are not owners, they are representatives of the business. So business owners have to be careful about who they hire. Hmmmmm, how convenient for these new guests and inconvenient for us that we were not acknowledged until the employees felt compelled to share this ordering practice with a new group of patrons after we were already waiting. That behavior was enough for us to know it was time to walk out. I refuse to spend my money where I can see overt disrespect.
