Now don't get me wrong with a 4 star rating this is one of the tastiest ice cream places I've been to...but I came from Sydney the home of Gelato Messina so I am very very spoilt when it come to amazing gelato and ice cream! There was a line but they were very efficient in serving everyone, I think the fact they have a number of staff serving ice cream and 1 dealing with payment made it really quick. I sampled a few flavours and settled on 1 scoop of peanut butter captain crunch in a cup, my husband got the double dark chocolate in a waffle cone. The peanut butter flavour was good but the captain crunch bit not so crunchy it was more kinda soggy...but it didn't taste bad. The chocolate was really rich, which I personally love and the waffle cone was lovely and crispy. Looking forward to trying the ice cream sandwich next time I go. One thing that would enhance the experience is being able to see the flavours, they are out of sight which was a little disappointing for me. Glad there is finally a top notch ice cream shop in Boulder! Definitely on par with the best in Denver. They have everything you could want including all kinds of cones, sundaes, shakes, cakes, sandwiches and more. Ice cream was fresh and delicious. The have all the basic flavors and some unique yet familiar ones. I tried cookies and cream, bananas foster, and oatmeal cookies and loved them all. Nothing is too over the top. We occasionally stop by here for a treat and the flavors are always unique and delicious. Lots of regular flavors, and great specials, such as the Sangria. The only downside is that there isn't a whole lot of seating, but fortunately they have delicious cones and mini cups so it's easy enough to take it to go! read more

I consider myself to be somewhat of ice cream connoisseur and this ice cream is amazing. I decided to get dessert on a hot afternoon at Civic Center Eats and ordered the key lime pie ice cream. It was so delicious! The perfect balance of sweet and tart with small bits of graham cracker crust throughout. I also tried a bite of my friend's strawberry ice cream which was equally as good with chunks of strawberries throughout. I will definitely be back to try more flavors. read more

Incredibly friendly service and tasty, creamy ice cream! They let you sample any flavors you want, which I recommend because their flavors are so unique! I tried nutter butter and peanut butter captain crunch, which were both delicious, but I ended up ordering Joe's cookie butter which is based on Trader Joe's cookie butter (basically molasses cookies in the form of a spread). You have the option of getting a TINY cup or cone of ice cream, which was great since I was still full from dinner. And we got an awesome surprise at the end: when the cashier found out it was our first visit to Sweet Cow, he comped our order! Thanks guys!!
