Sweet Cow is a great ice cream parlor. I ordered a sundae and an ice cream sandwich. The sundae and ice cream were remarkable. They have traditional and many unique ice cream flavors. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. If you are in the mood for ice cream, I highly recommend Sweet Cow.

Love, love, love this ice cream! I would adjust my schedule to visit here while in town. So good, delicious, and a great variety of flavors. The service was fast and fantastic. There were places to eat inside and outside and it was very clean inside. Some swag for sale too.

This place is 10x better than the other ice cream shop we tried while visiting. Friendly staff, clean storefront and very clear menu. Outdoor seating as well. Would definitely come back

Pint of oatmeal cookie

Lilly and her coworkers showed us patience, kindness, and professionalism. Lilly took excellent care of my boyfriend and I on our out of town visit to Boulder by being attentive to our ice cream wants despite other costumers being rude to her. She kept a smile on her face and ensured we continued to have a great experience and took great care of us. We applaud her grace and the support that her coworkers showed her during an unfortunate encounter with a difficult costumer. They are so considerate to serve dementia patients

Double Scoop (Bananas Foster and Oatmeal Cookie)

Tried Sweet Cow a couple of days ago and it was delicious! They have flavors ranging from your traditional cookies and cream to more unique flavors, such as malted milk ball. I ordered a double scoop of bananas foster and oatmeal cookie, which was generously packed into a house made waffle cone. The bananas foster tasted like caramelized bananas, and had chunks of real bananas scattered throughout the scoop. Heavenly. The oatmeal cookie tasted exactly like an oatmeal cookie. I don't know how they did it, but they nailed the cinnamon-y raisin-y flavor. Oh, and they had pieces of oatmeal cookie in there as well. If you're in the mood for some upper-echelon ice cream, Sweet Cow is the move.

Chocolate ice cream in a pretzel cone

Maybe overhyped, maybe caught them on an off day. They served me the wrong ice cream, but it was just slightly off so I didn't say anything (chocolate vs chocolate peanut butter which I ordered). I was escorted about the pretzel cone but it was a big flop. I'm not sure if it tasted stale because the ice cream made it so cold and sort of chewy or if it was truly just stale.

I only went one time, so maybe I didn't give it much of a chance. It was OK, just not one of my favorites in terms of the vibe and flavors.

I'm usually more a gelato fan, but sweet cow is amazing. It makes me think of my favorite ice cream back in France!!

Sweet Cow is delicious. I like their ice cream in a waffle cone. I wish they'd make cookie doh without chocolate chips.

I would have both again, BUT I have been daydreaming about the Ozo Cappuccino and the Honey Mint for days now.

But I am glad we had time today and went shortly after they opened for brunch and really enjoyed ourselves. We decided to share one savory crepe and one sweet. They are very large yet delicate and we barely finished them. Our savory was the Parisian and the sweet was the classic lemon. They were perfect in every way. Order at the counter when you arrive and choose a seat in the dining area. It's classic white walls with art and wood tabletops and metal classic cafe chairs. The food was excellent, the French chef owner made the crepes and delivered them to the table. We had picked up our drinks as we paid before choosing a table. It's usually been full when I've seen pictures in the past but it was a very cold day and students at CU as well as other families just getting back from the holiday season. They also offer Build Your Own Crepe and we probably will next time. For a sweet crepe next time I would do one with Nutella but without any banana as many of the standard choices had. For savory next time I would take the Normandy. We chose quickly today as a line started forming behind us. I had looked online at the menu though my husband had not had time. A plan would be good. It appeared that the counter staff may also be family. It is such a welcoming place with really good food, not found elsewhere in Boulder. And very good pricing for quality and portion size. They opened in an unusual little spot, almost downtown but not quite, in the stretch along Broadway between CU and the Pearl St Mall. They have a small parking access to 4 shared spaces with the shop next door to it and the access is on Arapahoe. If you are staying at the large new hotels on the Hill it's an easy walk, the equivalent of one long block. If you know Boulder well and need to easily park, there is paid parking in the library lot across Broadway and an easy flat walk both ways.
