Always love the food and service! Mahalo Chelsea for your hard work and sincerity! First time trying the Gluten Free Orange Chicken. They use tapioca powder for the batter. It's Excellent! Beef Gyoza and Szechuan noodles is always my go-to favorite. Iced Teas are a Must-try! MAHALO!

This place is the epitome of a hidden gem, mom-and-pop spot! + Food: I came for the egg tarts, but they have a wide range of stuff on their menu: from main dishes, to desserts, to lemonades and milk tea. The egg tarts were great, 8/10: great fillings, but the bottom was a bit soft. They were freshly baked tho which I really appreciate!! + Space and service: Amazing service! She was super sweet and even gave me a lemonade for the wait. It's a small restaurant with some seatings. Not too hard to find, just follow the signs downstairs. Plenty of street parkings.

Look for this entrance... down a sloped driveway...

Lunch in Aiea, Hawaii... If you're good at following GPS directions, you'll be able to find Sweet Corner Cafe. It's located deep in the industrial area of Halawa Valley - across from Menehune Water. Note: I've wanted to visit ever since I read Glen's Review of the Day (ROTD)! I parked on the steep driveway, right at the entrance to the building. After walking down a hallway, I found the cute café with the helpful signs. Chelsea was the very friendly, efficient server. She showed me the menu online, explained everything, and was a good conversationalist. I ordered the Matcha Lemonade which came in a BPA-free reusable bag. It was on the sweet side, so I added some water. I needed hydration anyway! My lunch was the Spring rolls, fried in avocado oil. They didn't seem greasy at all, but we're crunchy! The baby spinach was locally grown and fresh! The Portuguese Egg Tart had a flakey crust and dense filling. It was a nice dessert! As I was leaving, Chelsea gave me a complimentary bag of Hibiscus Lemonade. It was refreshing! Thank you!

This place is unbelievable. It is worth taking time to go out of the way to try it. Delicious food and amazing service. When you arrive go down the driveway and it is to your left. It is certainly a hole in the wall but not one to be missed!!! Get the Portuguese tarts!!

Sweet Corner Café was one of the highlights of my trip to Hawaii. I have celiac, and their gluten-free orange chicken was incredible! I haven't had orange chicken in over 10 years! The fried rice was also so amazing. Chelsea was so kind and helpful and made the experience even better!! I went twice during my trip and will absolutely be back next time I'm in Hawaii.

Chelsea is what makes this place the best! Amazing service! She makes you feel like she has known you forever and makes you feel special. The food was so yummy and amazing. I would go back a million times as long as Chelsea is there. She made our last day feel so special! Even took some dumplings to go.

We love finding cute hidden gems around Hawaii and this is definitely one of them. This place is a literal hole-in-the-wall cafe in the back of Halawa serving some delicious comfort foods and drinks. Highly recommend trying the fried noodles but they have fresh poke bowls too which we will try the next time They are practically a one man show with Chelsea, the owner, running around with 3 chefs cooking in the back. So please be patient and kind because she was the sweetest person ever! I think out of everything we ate, we loved the house fried noodles the best.

Went on a Saturday morning, a much more successful hunt for the place than a weekday when my son and I tried to find it. There was parking available because the place is nestled among many industrial warehouse type of businesses. When we went on a weekday, we couldn't find a parking spot. When we got there (make your way down the driveway) and walk through the hall. You might be greeted by Chelsea who was the nicest one-woman front of the store person ever. She sat us down asked for everyone's names. She gave us their menu to take a look at their offerings on a laptop. I thought that was cool. They had one area to seat about 14 people or so. It's small. But, it was well lit and clean. I wish they had a better spot, but I think that's what makes them endearing. I bet during the week they fill a lot of take-out orders. We had the waffle and chicken, their fried rice, fried noodle with gyoza, and pineapple sausage and an extra order of the bubble waffle. All pretty yummy. We were happy to have found the place and try their food.

Incredible Takeout, Generous Portions & the Sweetest Service! We ordered takeout from Sweet Corner Café while in Honolulu, and it was hands down one of the best food experiences we've had on the island! Everything was packed with care, still fresh and hot when we got home, and absolutely delicious. The real highlight of our visit was our server, Chelsea. Even though we weren't dining in, she treated us like VIPs; incredibly sweet, attentive, and genuinely warm. She even surprised us with a free to-go drink, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. It's rare to find that kind of service, especially with takeout! As for the food , WOW. The house-made noodles were beyond delicious with the perfect texture and flavor. The gluten-free orange chicken was crispy, zesty, and one of the best we've ever had (gluten-free or otherwise). The roast chicken was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every bite tasted homemade and full of love. The portion sizes were good and we easily had enough for leftovers the next day. If you're in Honolulu and looking for incredible food, generous portions, and service that truly stands out, do yourself a favor and check out Sweet Corner Café. Whether dining in or taking out, they go above and beyond!

That's the dream we can only hope for and luckily Monarch Poke located in Pearl Kai Shopping Center near T-Mobile area was open and not only that had a display case filled with various fresh fish all straight from the auction. This was quite late in the afternoon as I was set up for disappointment I was pleasantly surprised to see how much they still had and the gentleman says that that he thought it would've been busier but know that he had a catering order and is sure than none will go to waste is great to know but with that I did grab a couple of items that already piqued my interest, and entering this cozy shop was nice and simple. With seasonings like Crispy Garlic Chili Oil, Spicy, and Salmon poke I went for Inamona (Kukui nut) Poke, and Yuzu Scallop Poke as Scallops which are cute baby scallops is for mom since she loves scallops, and I love the simplicity flavor of the inamona with sesame oil, lime and Hawaiian salt though personally I didn't like it was rolling in green onions and white onions as I'm not a huge fan of them. The down side what I didn't like is the "MP" which I completely understand it's market fresh and is impossible to price it permanently but wished they'd put a daily price beside them the half pound of Yuzu Scallops Poke and one pound of inamona poke total did made me question my impulsive decision don't get me wrong it was delicious but there was too much onion in mine (personal choice) but the gentleman there was very nice describe each item including getting wasabi from Japan as it's all crafted fresh shows the love in each dish as I thoroughly enjoyed it for Christmas. Thank you!
