We parked nearby and walked to Peace Pie which was so close to the main square where Nights of Lights is during the holidays (noted). There it was, a bright and colorful storefront situated amongst a group of aromatic formal dining restaurants. It just so happened to be buy-one-get-one night, which is only on Tuesdays! I got the cookies and cream, my friend got the praline flavor and they were both absolutely delicious! I loved how the ice cream had lots of mix-ins and was frozen hard enough to not melt in our hands immediately. They serve the sandwiches in a lined paper wrap so even if things do get melty, it was easy to stay neat. We made a new friend in Stephanie who was (wo)manning the counter that night. We ordered the hand cut fries, strawberry and beet salad, and the gochujang marinated pork chop. I also ordered a few of their drinks, each one featuring different types of ice to fit the drink. Honestly all the food and the drinks were so good, but the easy standout of the night for both my spouse and I were the pork chops. These might have been the best pork chops I've ever had in my life.
