Susie helped me a lot with a pair of jeans that were really hard to find (Japanese Raw Selvedge, so pairs are usually never re-released and usually take years to reproduce) that I needed to hem. She assured me with the process and everything went well! Hem is done very well! She also did three of my pants that I needed hemmed a couple of years ago too, and she also did my taekwondo uniforms when I was growing up (more than ten years ago), so I was well confident in her abilities. She is well worth your while and is fast with her services! read more

5-stars for the quick-ish turn-around despite her very busy schedule and being closed a few extra days. I took my niece to Susie's Tailor (based on a rec from my mom who had a gown altered there) for her HOCO dress alterations. It was about a week out from the date we needed it, but due to some extra days the biz was going to be closed, Susie was honest that it might not be ready in time, depending on how much it needed to be altered. Thankfully, she did a few dress hacks, and very minal work was needed and we got it days before the dance. And it was less than $40. Probably cheaper than her cute dress. They do take CC, but no AMEX. Just a heads up. read more

I went to get a dress hemmed since it was way too long. It was last minute and I called ahead to see if she could accommodate fixing it in 1.5 days. She gladly let me know she could do it same day if I came in the morning. I was thrilled since I needed the dress for a wedding and the dress arrived way later than anticipated. It was hemmed perfectly and the same style as the previous hem. I thought the price was very reasonable for the quality and quick turn around. read more

Came to Susie's to alter my sister's wedding dress. I thought her prices were super reasonable and she tailored my sister's dress to perfection. One fitting was all it took, and we came back to pick it up and my sister loved it! The tailoring was done quickly, and professionally. My mother has also gotten quite a few pieces tailored here and I've gotten a formal dress hemmed. The owner is super sweet and although my dress could've been hemmed just a little higher, it was OK for the event! Overall will be back! read more

Susie is knowledgeable, personable and pretty quick. I've used her twice now - once when my husband and I both needed fancy outfits altered for a party; again when I needed a leather jumpsuit shortened in length for my birthday. Her prices are reasonable. I recognize the price point for more extensive work is fair and prices for minor fixes are not wild. I'm pretty sure she's my new seamstress. read more

Completed my daughter's alterations and an extremely timely fashion, especially with it being so close to prom and she made recommendations for things that I was concerned about. I would definitely go back again. read more

I went in for a last minute alter and they fixed it quick. Very welcoming and reasonable pricing def recommend!!

Susie is fantastic. It seems that most of her work is for ladies, but she does a great job for guys. She has mainly tailored sport coats for me, and has hemmed some pants that were too long. (The fitting she does for women seems a bit more complex, and based on the pictures in her lobby, she does a great job at that as well.) I give her "five stars" in each of these categories: Speed (she gets things done in a few days) Quality Affordability (she does not overcharge) Being nice / pleasant Responsive Susie is NOT the closest tailor to my home or work, but I would not go to anyone else. read more

Susie customized my wedding dress 5 years ago and it was gorgeous. She created a completely different top to add support so I didn't ever need a bra. It was a heavy dress and nothing about it was uncomfortable once she did her work. read more

Susie tailored a few things for me and I was so impressed, I trusted her to alter my wedding dress! I of course was nervous, but I trusted Susie and was not disappointed! She adjusted my straps, altered the hem, and added a 3 point bustle. Because my dress was lace and had a border around the hem, she had to completely cut it off and then reattach it. I couldn't tell AT ALL. Susie is incredibly talented and her prices are amazing! I was told to expect to spend $300-$400 on alterations and I definitely didn't spend that much! Long story short, if I trusted her with my wedding dress, you can definitely trust her with anything else! read more

Ladies!!! WANT TO BE BODY SHAMED?! THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! When someone goes to the tailors, you don't expect to be told, "WHAT BIG DRESS YOU HAVE" Would you like someone to point out your insecurities about your body, Susie? Everyone has them... your social gauge is messed up. To be shamed by someone who is supposed to be helping you look and feel better. We are paying you for a service not your opinion. I recommended this place to my wife and it was a mistake. How dare you, Susie. You don't have a language barrier! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? How horrible of a woman to shame another woman. Does it register, Susie, that you tailor to all body types? Does it register in your brain that you are being rude? Susie, learn to shut your mouth. Didn't anyone ever teach you to keep you mouth shut if you don't have anything nice to say? Can you tailor your brain to not be such a poor excuse of a human being? Good luck. Take the money and shut up next time. read more

I def recommend! Susie is great. The business place is small and the dressing rooms are not very private ('rooms' are separated by curtains, not walls). However, I will keep coming here for any future alterations that I need to have done. She is welcoming, friendly, efficient, and professional. I took 2 dresses, both wedding dresses (one for the ceremony and another for the reception), and she had them both ready within 2 weeks. She was not only quick but very good. My dresses looked great! read more

I received all my pieces in good time. The customer service is excellent. The items I took for alteration were completed very well and quickly. Some items were more complex than others but they were all handled very well. The prices were charges were reasonable. My items were fairly wrinkled before I took them so build in time to take the item to the cleaners as they may need to be pressed when you get them back. read more

WONDERFUL is the only way to describe my experience. Susie worked with my wedding gown which was too small when multiple others said it could not be done. She made everything perfect for my big day and the work was done way ahead of schedule. My mind has been put at ease as the stress of an ill fitting wedding gown was very distressing. I am forever grateful and will recommend her to anyone I know. read more

Susie is very knowledgeable and thorough when it comes to alterations. Coming from Virginia, I find that the prices are on the high side, but you know that old adage 'You get what you pay for'... That applies here. The work on the items that I've dropped off for service (3 dresses, 4 jumpsuits, 1 bustier, 1 duster, 3 blouses) have all been executed to my satisfaction. I will continue to use Susie Alterations read more
