This place is really small but the food is really great. We ordered the Floresta roll and the chirashi bowl. The roll was really good. The chirashi bowl was really amazing. The fish was fresh and sliced nice and thick. The chirashi was a little pricey but well wor5h the price.

I really enjoy the omakase here. They are prepared fresh with good ingredients. My kids love getting various rolls. We also like the salmon kama that they sometimes give out for free (it's been inconsistent, we don't know when they give it out free but have gotten lucky half the times we're here). Good service. Easy parking in the lot. Seating is very limited, so I recommend you go earlier than normal meal times. We came at 5pm for dinner and there was no line and food came out quickly. We like walking across the street afterwards to get icecream. It's good exercise after a fulfilling meal and a nice treat too.

Consistently delicious each time I dine here, whether it's with my besties or my fam, we always have a yummy meal. Small interior so get there early if you want a seat! Love their rolls - good quality fish and light rice ratio. Ichiban, 49ers, Warriors, Dragon, Alhambra- can't go wrong with any of their rolls. Their bento boxes are also fire with ample portions. Excited they have toro on their menu now, but they ran out the day we were there. Will be back for it next time! Thanks Julie and team for hosting us (especially my toddler who throws things), amazing food and for the wonderful service!

This place is phenomenal. We've only ever ordered through DoorDash out of convenience (we don't live in the area) and it has never disappointed. We get Sushi Time twice a month :) My husband and I order the Sushi and Sashimi plate. We love the variety of fish they give. Also the quality of it is incredible. The fish is always fresh and melts in your mouth. The salmon nigiri and sashimi are my favorite. Today, we decided to get the omakase for the first time. Every piece was unique. Again, so fresh and there was so much food!! We've eaten quite a few of their rolls and our favorites are Cherry Blossom, Ichiban, Salmon Lover and the Warriors. We've tried a lot of sushi spots in the East Bay and this place is our favorite.

This place definitely gets packed, mostly because there isn't a ton of seating. There are only a couple of outdoor tables, and during the summer heat, I honestly wouldn't recommend sitting outside. That said--this spot was a pleasant surprise and honestly feels like a bit of a hidden gem. I didn't expect the sushi to be this fresh, but it really was. The quality was excellent, portions were generous, and the presentation pretty much speaks for itself (the photos don't lie). Service was decent--nothing particularly memorable, but it was efficient and got the job done. The real star here is the food. We had to wait a bit because it gets busy, but once we were seated, everything was worth it. I especially loved that they offer omakase, and the hand rolls were stacked--full, fresh, and seriously delicious. Overall, if you're okay with a bit of a wait and limited seating, the sushi here is absolutely worth it. Come hungry and be ready to take photos.

My friends brought me here and I was very skeptical BUT it was unfortunately for me AMAZING and coming from someone who's lived in LA for 15 years I don't say that lightly. If you're lucky enough to be in the area GO! And try everything you can't go wrong here. The toro does sell out fast though!

We found this place online and decided to give it a try. The restaurant itself is a bit small, good for small groups of up to four. And you can use the tablet to put in an order. We ordered the Omakase, the dill roll, and the baked unagi roll. The fish was fresh and delicious, but their rolls were a bit too heavy in flavor for me. I had to keep eating ginger to cleanse my palate.

We came across Sushi Time on reddit of all places, and wanted to give it a try. The shop itself is quite small, probably only 6-7 tables, but when we went on Saturday afternoon, we were able to get seated immediately. We ordered the omakase, the dill roll, and the baked unagi roll. The fish were all quite fresh. A decent spread on the omakase, from scallop, seared tuna, shrimp, regular tuna, and I believe a tuna roll. The baked unagi roll was heavy but not in a bad way, just a lot of sauce and quite large. The dill salmon roll was pretty good as well, salmon was fresh but I wouldn't say it necessarily wowed me. Overall, not a bad sushi place

Take out from Sushi time! The freshest fish!! White roll and warrior! We also had the chicken yaki udon- very different flavors than other yaki udon we have had. Peppers, broccoli, zucchini and the flakes like on taki balls. I wish there was more chicken.

My daughter and I stopped for lunch and we had exceptional food and service. The tako maki was fresh and hot and yummy and came out in minutes. The two rolls we had were delicious. The waitress was friendly and checked on us regularly. I highly recommend.

Restaurant is tiny but clean and comfortable. Ordered the sashimi and dragon roll. Looked beautiful! The sashimi was fresh and melted in my mouth. The dragon roll was good but I pointed out to the waitress that the unagi was overly charred. The waitress apologized and told me she could bring me another. I told her it's OK this time but she insisted. She did not give me any attitude and was very nice about it. I accepted the offer and got another new roll. This kind of service made me happy. The waitress and the chef both said goodbye in a friendly matter. My family and I will be coming back for sure. The food was delicious!! read more

I saw this place getting a lot of rave reviews on Facebook and Yelp, so I decided to give this place a look. We ordered the Green Dragon, Alhambra, hamachi nigiri, and the sashimi lunch special. The fish was really good and fresh. It really had a lot of quality, but there were also a lot of problems. For one, the sushi rolls kept breaking. Every time I picked up the food with my chopsticks, the rolls kept breaking. Something was always falling out, be it the rice or a topping. What was really surprising was we didn't even get a bowl of salad that most sushi places will serve. The service was ok. The waitress was polite and nice, just your average day at a restaurant. The problem I had was I noticed that she had gloves on, which was great, because it showed sanitation was being taken seriously, or so I thought. Our waitress then fixed her hair and touched the area around her mouth, so it completely defeated the purpose of wearing gloves and serving us our food. Another major problem was when the hamachi came out, I took a couple bites, and the rice was crunchy. Crunchy rice means it's raw or undercooked. The place was pretty quiet, which came as a surprise, considering that they open after noon and have their hours advertised as continuously open versus other sushi places. I wanted to believe the hype when I saw the reviews, but I can't say I'm impressed. read more

The food is good but it's a small space so can be difficult to get a table on a busy night. The staff are wonderful and working hard. It a little out of the way for me so I can't say I would make this a destination food choice. But when I'm in the area and need sushi it a great choice. read more

I don't think they are keeping up well with their popularity :( we ordered for pick up last Saturday and some of the fish was inedible. I'm attaching a photo of what was supposed to be sake nigiri - you can see all the chewy crappy part included, it doesn't even look like sake nigiri should. We were appalled at the fish quality. I previously had good experience so I hope they find their footing again. read more

Place is small; only about six tables so make a reservation or get on the wait list if you can. Sushi rolls were delicious and fresh. They were extremely busy with dine in's and take ours. We had four of the special rolls and everything was perfect. Service was friendly but it took a while. We'll be back. The only downside was I wish they had low sodium soy sauce , lol! read more

While driving, we noticed this newly opened place. What a cute, small, warm space, and the service was excellent. The food was exceptionally fresh and tasty--definitely my favorite place. I hadn't had good sushi in a while and couldn't find any, but this place is the best and my new go-to. We ordered an appetizer, three rolls, and hwedupbap. We also received free miso since they just opened. Needless to say, for a party of two, it was a lot of food, but I was still hungry because the food was so good. We went for lunch today and were served by Julie - who is very nice. This is a small cozy place that just opened a week ago right next door to Vinnie's Pizzeria. My wife ordered salmon teriyaki and a Cali roll with real snow crab. I had a Rainbow roll with real crab and a 2 piece order of maguro nigiri. The fish is very fresh and tasty. Julie gave me a special soy sauce to go with the maguro - much lighter than the kikkoman on the table and it really highlighted the flavor of the fish. Typically don't write reviews. I was looking for a small cozy spot to eat with my young children. This place came up and wow, I'm so happy we came here. The owner was very friendly and service was top notch. Love that it's cozy, which allows the rolls to be served quicker than I'm used to. Even if I had to wait it's so worth it. The rolls are delicious! The fish and avocado was very fresh and tasty. So many options to pick from.I will definitely be returning. read more

We were driving by and happened to catch them on there soft opening of this new Sushi spot in Martinez. They definitely delivered, their Sushi rolls were amazing (49er, Alhambra, Bay Scallop).
