    Chirashi bowl, not impressed
    Lily Z.

How does this place get such a high rating? Chirashi bowl was probably a 3, not al that impressive looking. The soy sauce was horrendous, bland low quality soy sauce like product made with mostly water and coloring. Tom kha soup was so salty, had a thick texture like a curry, and missing the usual herbs (lemongrass, lime leaf, and cilantro).

Great service, food came out quick! Very clean, quaint little restaurant! Crab Rangoon's and garlic edamame were so fire. Would definitely order again. Sauce with the crab rangoons made it. Sushi hit the spot. New Yorker had a smoky kick to the tuna on top. Senator roll had a kick to it too but was good! & the sunset roll was one of the most fresh tasting and well done deep fried roll I've had in a long time. Would definitely come back!

Always GREAT service and excellent food. Quaint spot. Sushi & shashimi are awesome. Tonkatsu ramen is solid. Worth a visit.

This place is a gem. Better than that BS from East Pho. Flavor everywhere. This is a must stop.

This is my favorite restaurant in the Nashville & surrounding areas. It's in a strip mall in Hermitage and once you enter, the ambiance is great. The sushi is fresh and the Tom Kha soup in out of this world delicious. I'm addicted to everything about it. My favorite dish is the crab fried rice (add bean sprouts) ...it's so good and comforting. Don't skip the matcha crepe cake for dessert! The owner and the staff are amazing. The server, Tony, always takes great care of us. Go check this place out! You will be happy you did!

The restaurant is perfection! Every element of the experience from the service to the food was exceptional. Started with the garlic edamame and gyoza. Then we tried the Mango Tango and Sex on the Moon rolls... incredible. Finished off with some amazing Mango sticky rice. Pleasantly surprised to find this spot in Hermitage, put some of the downtown locations to shame!

Stopped in after going paintballing and needing some serious calories replenished! This place was delicious and the service was great. The ambiance is on point and very tranquil and comfortable. We ordered garlic edamame, Dirty old man roll, Angry tuna roll, First love roll, Orange blossom roll, Triple Crown roll, and the Baked Alaska. They were all delicious!!

The restaurant is in a small strip mall. It looks like nothing but don't let that fool you. It is a hidden gem and as you see, it has really great reviews. I searched the reviews before we picked a spot and this one had the best and for a great reason!! We sat at the bar because the booths were taken and we didn't want to sit at the tables that were tight together. It was a small restaurant. The lady behind the bar took our order and the lady waiting on the tables got our drinks. It was an easy process. I got the walk away roll, small house salad, and gyoza as an appetizer. My favorite thing was the walk away roll. I usually don't like salmon in rolls but this was sooooooo good. The fried part wasn't too thick and had a sweet flavor on it. So good! All the flavors meshed so well. The gyoza was really good as well. Very light and flavorful. My least fav was the house salad. I felt like the ginger dressing was watered down and was very runny. The pricing was decent too. It wasn't too expensive. I thought it was just right. You have to try this spot if you are in town. The food was amazing!!

The Thai food here is great!! The staff was lovely !!! The place is clean and convenient to the interstate. They have a huge menu. I've never had their sushi but if it's half as good as the Thai it'll be awesome ! We got the red curry chicken and the green curry chicken and they were both excellent! I also got the Tom Kha Kha soup and that was soooo yummy ! I'll def go back ! Their lunch menu prices are awesome too !

My mom and I dined here on Valentines Day and it was so delicious! The restaurant is very small so seating is limited. Around 7pm they got a rush of guests (typical for Valentine's Day) but they only had 1 waitress working the restaurant and she took care of every table by herself. She did an amazing job! The sushi rolls were so, so good! The pricing is also incredibly fair. We had two glasses of wine, two house salads, and two huge sushi rolls for $60! We will definitely be returning.

Sushi Thai is one of my favorite restaurants, it is such a hidden gem. Since it's fusion, the menu has a variety of different options including pad Thai, curry, sushi, stir fry and more! I take all my friends here and they have all liked it.

From the moment I walked into this restaurant, BODHI Asian Street Eats, I felt calm! We looked over the menu and since this was our first time at BODHI Asian Street Eats, Claire (the ROCKSTAR) assisted us with descriptions, explanations and suggestions. If you walk into a restaurant at 7pm on a Wednesday night and the place is fully packed and there…read moreare people waiting behind you to be sat, you KNOW you made the right decision to go there. We were greeted nicely by the hostess and waited roughly 5 minutes for a table to open up. A family of five came in right after us and decided to sit at the bar to eat. I knew in my heart that this was the best place to go to for my husband's birthday dinner. We sat on some barstools while we waited, discussing the hockey game playing on the tv behind the bar. I loved the low ambient lighting that spread across the ceiling. Our waitress was nice but she never gave us her name so I unfortunately can't shout her out. She gave us recommendations so I ended up taking one of hers. Now, if you have read my Thai restaurant reviews, you know by now that I judge a Thai restaurant by ordering their Pad Thai the first visit, however, I broke that rule because I just KNEW this place was going to be good. We ordered the Tom Kha soup with chicken, Pad Kee Mao with chicken, I ordered the Khao Soi Gai (it comes with chicken, no substitutions), and one Thai iced tea. You guys. When the Tom Kha soup touched my lips, I was SO excited to get the main course! It was made PERFECTLY. I haven't had true Tom Kha since probably when I lived in California over a decade ago. The Thai tea was strong and delicious, exactly how it should be made. The Khao Soi Gai...that first sip of the curry broth nearly made me go Meg Ryan-mode in the restaurant. If you know, you know. "I'll have what she's having!" Our waitress recommended this dish and I'm so glad I was adventurous and tried something different outside of my "I'll judge you based off of your Pad Thai" attitude. It was perfect and when I say perfect, I didn't even add lime juice to it because I didn't want to mess anything up with the flavor profile. Sure, lime could have added another element to the dish but when I say it was perfect the way it was, it's true. The night at Smiley would have ended perfectly if it weren't for the miserable couple who sat beside us discussing how unhappy they were in their marriage and decided to accept the waitstaff into their broken marriage by being completely rude. But the staff remained professional and kind through it all and I give them HUGE props for that because I was a moment away from telling that wretched couple off. In short, the staff here are wonderful, and the food is memorable, delectable, delicious, perfect...it's HEAVEN. We will DEFINITELY be back to try other menu items!

I had the Pad Tai prawns, it was a lot of food but it was so gooooood!!! I couldn't even finish it all, so I took it home, our server was very attentive, the ambiance was good, packed but not loud! Definitely would recommend and we will be back!
