    Tiger Tear Salad

Easy parking, we arrived between lunch and dinner. Casual and nice! Gentle jazz muzzak in the background. Service was not rushed and yet efficient. Spice is at an authentic level. My Beef Salad (Tiger Tear) was a level 2 and was plenty spicy for me, and I like spice.

This was the first time I have ever been there. The papaya salad had more dirty cabbage as filler to make you think you're getting more papaya. The fresh rolls had cabbage in it that tasted old. The tom guy soup had a weird orange flavor. I asked for beef broth pho and our waitress brought a clear liquid and tried to tell me it was beef broth. I have had beef broth many times and the broth is usually dark not a yellowish tint. Either she was lying or the kitchen was too dumb to know the difference between chicken and beef broth. We asked to have the rice to be tossed in basil sauce and they clearly didn't and also lied about that. My son got the drunken noodles but you would have to be drunk to enjoy them. Our Russian waitress was a sweetheart and was very nice. I probably will never return.

It was a very nice experience. Service was good and the food was great. We didn't feel rushed and there were no problem for us ladies to get separate checks. I loved that they brought the rice in the shape of a cat.

Had lunch here, service was fast and friendly. Wide variety of Asian dishes from sushis to Phó to Pad Thais.. Everything we ordered were good and tasty. Boba slushes available but we opted for Thai Iced Tea and coffees. Recommend when you're in the Mount Juliet area. Happy tummy.

Great service and tasty Thai food! The whole menu can be made gluten free for our fellow celiac friends. There are tons of vegetarian options as well. My husband said the green curry might have been his favorite ever! We will be back!

3.5 stars. More than average. First off: I'd like to let our server know that went to her coworker to speak Thai about me: the reason I just sat there like an idiot when you asked what I would like to drink is because this was my first time here, and we just got here. I wanted to look through the menu to see what drink options y'all had. I was still deciding on what to drink and still reading the menu. Now onto the food: the food was pretty average for me. I thought it was pretty average for Thai food. It wasn't bad at all. I started off with the steamed dumplings. I felt that it was a little too soggy for me. The pieces didn't stay intact and broke and fell apart as soon as I picked them up. The flavor wasn't bad, though. The pho broth was also pretty average. It wasn't bad at all. It came with basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños, and lime on the side. I really liked that a lot since I didn't expect it to come with all the veggies. I requested the whole red snapper with basil sauce. I felt that the fish was fried perfectly. It wasn't over cooked or undercooked. Good job on the fish.

Had the Red Curry and Tom Yum Shrimp (Small) Red curry was okay even though it's not my type of food. Tom Yum was not spicy or sour at all, which was very disappointing. It was sweet But service and inside restaurant was nice and friendly people. Not too quiet or too lively.

I've been here numerous times and I will continue to go here. The staff is so kind, I see people complain on reviews that they don't attend you when you walk in, ITS A SEAT YOURSELF PLACE!!! The food it delicious. One of my favorite sushi rolls is the creamy spicy tuna roll and the pho chicken is my favorite dish there 10/10. I love this place so much!!

This is one of the rare times the Yelp reviews don't live up to my expectations. I'm giving 4 stars…read morebecause the staff was so friendly and kind, and I don't want to trash a small business. This is a no-frills, smaller restaurant inside a strip of stores in a questionable-looking area of town. As I parked the car, I thought twice about actually going in, but based on the Yelp reviews, I decided to give it a try. It was clean inside, and, as I mentioned, the service and staff were 5-star! My food was where it went wrong for me. I started with the summer rolls (the ones in rice paper); they serve sushi and Thai food here. I have been craving summer rolls; I love the freshness of the mint and herbs, combined with crunchy peanuts and peanut sauce. However, that fell short for me here. The peanut sauce was reddish and tasted more like ketchup, so that was a letdown. No little peanuts anywhere in the sauce or on the plate. It was jam-packed with iceberg lettuce, which you would typically put on a Taco, so it wasn't very fresh-tasting, and it contained the tiniest piece of shrimp I've ever seen inside. Following my gut, I decided not to order my usual sushi selection, which is always raw, unfried, and unsauced. However, I decided to play it safe, so I opted for a Mexican roll instead. I asked for no eel sauce, but I should have also specified that I wanted spicy mayo on the side. It covered my roll, and I had to use a napkin to remove what I could. This is usually a roll that is around $6 to $10, but for some reason, they were charging $14. They made the rolls bigger, but not by filling them with more shrimp, avocado, etc.; instead, they added more rice. This may be someone's cup of tea, but it wasn't mine, and I won't be back, but wish them the best!

If you walk into a restaurant at 7pm on a Wednesday night and the place is fully packed and there…read moreare people waiting behind you to be sat, you KNOW you made the right decision to go there. We were greeted nicely by the hostess and waited roughly 5 minutes for a table to open up. A family of five came in right after us and decided to sit at the bar to eat. I knew in my heart that this was the best place to go to for my husband's birthday dinner. We sat on some barstools while we waited, discussing the hockey game playing on the tv behind the bar. I loved the low ambient lighting that spread across the ceiling. Our waitress was nice but she never gave us her name so I unfortunately can't shout her out. She gave us recommendations so I ended up taking one of hers. Now, if you have read my Thai restaurant reviews, you know by now that I judge a Thai restaurant by ordering their Pad Thai the first visit, however, I broke that rule because I just KNEW this place was going to be good. We ordered the Tom Kha soup with chicken, Pad Kee Mao with chicken, I ordered the Khao Soi Gai (it comes with chicken, no substitutions), and one Thai iced tea. You guys. When the Tom Kha soup touched my lips, I was SO excited to get the main course! It was made PERFECTLY. I haven't had true Tom Kha since probably when I lived in California over a decade ago. The Thai tea was strong and delicious, exactly how it should be made. The Khao Soi Gai...that first sip of the curry broth nearly made me go Meg Ryan-mode in the restaurant. If you know, you know. "I'll have what she's having!" Our waitress recommended this dish and I'm so glad I was adventurous and tried something different outside of my "I'll judge you based off of your Pad Thai" attitude. It was perfect and when I say perfect, I didn't even add lime juice to it because I didn't want to mess anything up with the flavor profile. Sure, lime could have added another element to the dish but when I say it was perfect the way it was, it's true. The night at Smiley would have ended perfectly if it weren't for the miserable couple who sat beside us discussing how unhappy they were in their marriage and decided to accept the waitstaff into their broken marriage by being completely rude. But the staff remained professional and kind through it all and I give them HUGE props for that because I was a moment away from telling that wretched couple off. In short, the staff here are wonderful, and the food is memorable, delectable, delicious, perfect...it's HEAVEN. We will DEFINITELY be back to try other menu items!

Juliet, TN, looks much the same on the outside as many other take away places, but we couldn't be more wrong! From portion size, to the thoughtful service, to the freshest dishes undoubtedly made with love- one is left feeling less like a customer and more like family. One thing that my wife and I couldn't wrap our heads around was why in the world all of Nashville isn't packing this place daily? All we could gather is that it is so unassuming that people don't even know what they have in their own backyard. Do yourself a favor; GO!
