We went here for the Hibachi today, but they also offer Ramen, Sushi and some Japanese dishes like Gyoza, Edamame, Fried Rice and Yakisoba. The interior is Elegantly Modern. The staff were friendly and we had very good service. Our Hibachi Chef was entertaining and he seasoned our food very well. Our food was cooked properly the way we requested it. The Hibachi area is separated from the main dining area and bar area. We have tried different Sushis here like the California Roll and the Philadelphia Roll and it's been very good. I had a great experience eating here one weekday for supper. Was alone on a business trip and walked here from the nearby hotels. Easy and safe walk, no line, ate at the bar. Overall had a very positive experience. The ambiance and decor was fun and felt very Japanese Anime - which was a nice change. Ordered a bowl of ramen and a specialty roll. Service was prompt to take my order, but the roll and the ramen took a little longer than it should have, and they came out at the same time - which was frustrating. I don't think anyone was exactly assigned to work the bar that night. All good, it worked out. The ramen was amazing - ordered "black ramen bowl" and it was a very generous serving of mushroom / pork loin ramen which tasted amazing. I really enjoyed this more than I expected and it was priced fairly. The sushi roll was just okay - very average and not as fresh as I'd hoped. The wasabi was not actually fresh, and the roll itself was pretty meh. They have a full bar, and the people seem nice. Like I said this has a fun atmosphere, and the teppanyaki area of the restaurant looked popular and fun as well. I would eat here again for sure. This restaurant has really cute decor! We sat down for regular dinner and had ramen and appetizers. The spicy miso ramen has a great flavor and broth. I live pretty far away from Mt. Juliet & have never been a fan of this city's layout & traffic, so I typically avoid going there at all costs. However, I was introduced to Fukutoku by a friend who lives in the area. Oh my! I was blown away at their lunch special! Their two & three maki roll special is second to none! Fresh, full-size eight pieces per roll with large pieces of fish, so not all filler and rice. The presentation is beyond any other sushi restaurant's I've attended in Nashville. They have an array of sauces to try since I don't eat soy sauce or eel sauce. My friend's chicken teriyaki was bountiful & delicious too. The atmosphere is super cute, clean & fun! They have hibachi rooms for groups & private dining areas too. The service has been stellar every time. I'm becoming more of a fan of Mt. Juliet simply because of Fukutoku! read more

It was a bowl full of noodles, pork broth, pork, soy egg, corn, and radish, and for my first Ramen experience it was very tasty. Solid sushi place near Providence Shopping center. We've had sushi on numerous occasions have always enjoyed the selection. We get a combo of sashimi and specialty rolls. It's always fresh with a good amount of fish and not too much rice. Decent selection of hot and cold saki and fun specialty cocktails. Our only disappointment has been the hibachi. We found it pretty flavorless and out of order. For example, the vegetables were served last. Odd. I don't think the cook had very much training and just seemed a bit lost. Just the coolest setting of any place in the area. Service was great! Food presentation super cool. The place is sparkling clean, with maaaaaybe a bit too much cleaner smell. Now the food. Love that they offer three pieces of sashimi per order. Nice cuts and fairly priced. Their speciality rolls is not an extensive list, but this place covers a lot of various Japanese foods, not just sushi, and the speciality rolls are a good variety in itself. I love to see Ramen offered! Their Tonkotsu Black Ramen is very unique. If you do not like Mushroom, you'll want to skip this because this has a very strong mushroom flavor. I personally really liked it. The FuKu buns were a bit of a let down. The Pork Chashu was super thin cut - never seen that on a pork bun - and bland. :/ so hopefully a one off. I would actually give this a 2.5 star rating if I could. The service was just ok, and the food though plentiful, wasn't very good. I had the chicken Ramen in chicken broth with grilled chicken and the other 3 adults all had hibachi. We ordered pork bao buns for the table as an appetizer and the dough was undercooked and the pork was just ok. Ramen was kind of cold, chicken wasn't good at all. The census around the table was a score of 5.5 out of ten. Taking into consideration that the bill before tip was $157.00 which also played into my overall rating. Cute! is the way I'll describe my first impression upon entering, and tastefully decorated.. We were the first customers to arrive for this day, we were greeted and seated immediately. Anime playing on both big screen TV's. (Dragon Ball Z perhaps??) Service was wonderful, kind and very attentive! The menu is VERY extensive. They do have a lunch menu for M-F., but today was Sunday. We all ordered some type of sushi roll (or 2), raw, cooked and deep fried were all tried and they were absolutely delicious and filling! My daughter tried the grilled chicken ramen as well and said next time she'd try a spicier one. Great new little gem of a restaurant! Plate was dirty. Sakura roll tasted like bland mush. Steamed bun was undercooked, made the bun an undesirable doughy texture. Was fish was ok only, but anything cooked was terrible, sushi and appetizer wise... with the exception of the gyoza. Gyoza was good. The anime playing series on the tv was lame too. We were in town visiting family for the holidays. I had a request for ramen so we stopped in for lunch. Service was great - they got noodles fired right away for my 2 y.o. nephew. Ramen was delicious! I had the tonkatsu and my husband had the spicy chicken. He said it was really spicy but yummy! We liked it so much we stopped in for dinner a few days later. Been looking for a good ramen spot in BNA...we found it. Service was stellar. Interior was also well done. Recently relocated from CA where we had our "go to" places. We now have one here in Nashville. We ordered Gyoza, tempura and ramen. gyoza was amazing. Brother on the ramen was just spicy enough for us. Full of flavor and veggies. Meat was also prepared well. Fukutoku opened not too long ago in Mt. Juliet and it's a fantastic addition to the town. I came here with my family a few weeks ago and we had a blast. Our server was very kind and attentive and she did a great job overall. We all enjoyed our drinks and I absolutely loved my steak and shrimp hibachi. My wife loved her ramen and the rest of the group really enjoyed their meals as well. The place was very busy all night and it was great to see. Prices are reasonable and we can't wait to see the hibachi show next time. Fukutoku is a great addition to Mt. Been twice now. Very excited to have this spot in MJ. Now let's get into it... Take out 4/5 Black Ramen- very good, enjoyed it. Hibachi dinner was also good. Probably would have been all that much better served right at the table vs. taking it home to eat. Loved their pork bao buns. Yummy all around Dine in- 3/5 I went for sushi. Let me start that it was fresh tasting. I got tempura veg and shrimp to start, it was ok. Would skip next time. Got a side salad, too much dressing. Got a volcano roll. It was ok, it had like shredded crab on top, I was expecting whole pieces so it was just interesting. I also got the sushi lunch. Honestly, I was pleased it was fresh (and I am sensitive to bad food, I had no tummy troubles at all). My problem is they actually cut the fish way too thick. There is a proper thickness to sashimi to make it a lovely bite, instead of feeling like I am a caveman eating a hunk of tuna or salmon (and to be honest you can't eat it like that, when you take a bite instead of melting in your mouth you have to contend with fattyness and kind of strip the fish from the piece you are biting into, with your teeth, it gives me the ick). Also, service was extremely slow even though it was lunch on a weekday and there were only 4 other people there. Will be back to try other things though! read more

My family has been here a few times and the food is always good. We usually do the hibachi vs the dine in, and depending on the chef you get it could make or break your experience. We had chefs that go above and beyond to make our experience fun and some that do the bare minimum. I will say if you're dining in with a party of 6 or more an automatic gratuity is added. We did not notice this the first time we had a party of 6, and double tipped, to be fair it is stated on the receipt, but we didn't look before just checking the 20% box for a tip. Came here for my birthday with friends and they really know how to celebrate! They saved our cake in the fridge while we had hibachi and even the chef was happy to engage in the festivities! The servers were so helpful with candles and everything. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. Dined here for the first time last night and LOVED it! Started with crab rangoons - they were cooked perfectly, hot and crispy. My wife and I split chicken lo mein, Philadelphia rolls, and shrimp tempura rolls. They were all excellent. Well prepared and everything was served at a perfect pace. We enjoyed some hot sake with our meal - it was great as well. Service was Welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended!!! read more
