One of my besties and I went to this restaurant for dinner. We went on a weekday night and had a pretty easy time getting a table even though the place is small and didn't have a ton of tables. The service was quick, kind, and very helpful. When it comes to sushi I love raw salmon and am allergic to avocados so I ordered the Orange Blossom Roll and a Salmon Roll. The prices are super reasonable which made me want to order more things than I probably normally would. The food was so good that even though it's been a couple of weeks since I went to the restaurant for dinner, I'm still thinking about it. I will very likely be ordering more things next time! Also for those who are not sushi fans like I am, they have a huge menu with plenty of non-sushi foods too. I can't wait to go back! Also just as an added plus, they have plenty of free parking with their own lot right out front.

How does this place get such a high rating? Chirashi bowl was probably a 3, not al that impressive looking. The soy sauce was horrendous, bland low quality soy sauce like product made with mostly water and coloring. Tom kha soup was so salty, had a thick texture like a curry, and missing the usual herbs (lemongrass, lime leaf, and cilantro).
Customer service was great , restaurant was very cute and quaint on the inside , and the food was fresh and hot .
Always GREAT service and excellent food. Quaint spot. Sushi & shashimi are awesome. Tonkatsu ramen is solid. Worth a visit.

Stopped in after going paintballing and needing some serious calories replenished! This place was delicious and the service was great. The ambiance is on point and very tranquil and comfortable. We ordered garlic edamame, Dirty old man roll, Angry tuna roll, First love roll, Orange blossom roll, Triple Crown roll, and the Baked Alaska. They were all delicious!!
The restaurant is in a small strip mall. It looks like nothing but don't let that fool you. It is a hidden gem and as you see, it has really great reviews. I searched the reviews before we picked a spot and this one had the best and for a great reason!! We sat at the bar because the booths were taken and we didn't want to sit at the tables that were tight together. It was a small restaurant. The lady behind the bar took our order and the lady waiting on the tables got our drinks. It was an easy process. I got the walk away roll, small house salad, and gyoza as an appetizer. My favorite thing was the walk away roll. I usually don't like salmon in rolls but this was sooooooo good. The fried part wasn't too thick and had a sweet flavor on it. So good! All the flavors meshed so well. The gyoza was really good as well. Very light and flavorful. My least fav was the house salad. I felt like the ginger dressing was watered down and was very runny. The pricing was decent too. It wasn't too expensive. I thought it was just right. You have to try this spot if you are in town. The food was amazing!!
This is my favorite restaurant in the Nashville & surrounding areas. It's in a strip mall in Hermitage and once you enter, the ambiance is great. The sushi is fresh and the Tom Kha soup in out of this world delicious. I'm addicted to everything about it. My favorite dish is the crab fried rice (add bean sprouts) ...it's so good and comforting. Don't skip the matcha crepe cake for dessert! The owner and the staff are amazing. The server, Tony, always takes great care of us. Go check this place out! You will be happy you did!
little bit of a rough area but the food was great! very affordable and very kind staff. we got to go and were in and out. the summer rolls didnt have noodles which suprised me so probably wouldn't pick again but everything else was great!
The Thai food here is great!! The staff was lovely !!! The place is clean and convenient to the interstate. They have a huge menu. I've never had their sushi but if it's half as good as the Thai it'll be awesome ! We got the red curry chicken and the green curry chicken and they were both excellent! I also got the Tom Kha Kha soup and that was soooo yummy ! I'll def go back ! Their lunch menu prices are awesome too !
The restaurant is perfection! Every element of the experience from the service to the food was exceptional. Started with the garlic edamame and gyoza. Then we tried the Mango Tango and Sex on the Moon rolls... incredible. Finished off with some amazing Mango sticky rice. Pleasantly surprised to find this spot in Hermitage, put some of the downtown locations to shame!

This is one of the rare times the Yelp reviews don't live up to my expectations. I'm giving 4 stars because the staff was so friendly and kind, and I don't want to trash a small business. This is a no-frills, smaller restaurant inside a strip of stores in a questionable-looking area of town. As I parked the car, I thought twice about actually going in, but based on the Yelp reviews, I decided to give it a try. It was clean inside, and, as I mentioned, the service and staff were 5-star! My food was where it went wrong for me. I started with the summer rolls (the ones in rice paper); they serve sushi and Thai food here. I have been craving summer rolls; I love the freshness of the mint and herbs, combined with crunchy peanuts and peanut sauce. However, that fell short for me here. The peanut sauce was reddish and tasted more like ketchup, so that was a letdown. No little peanuts anywhere in the sauce or on the plate. It was jam-packed with iceberg lettuce, which you would typically put on a Taco, so it wasn't very fresh-tasting, and it contained the tiniest piece of shrimp I've ever seen inside. Following my gut, I decided not to order my usual sushi selection, which is always raw, unfried, and unsauced. However, I decided to play it safe, so I opted for a Mexican roll instead. I asked for no eel sauce, but I should have also specified that I wanted spicy mayo on the side. It covered my roll, and I had to use a napkin to remove what I could. This is usually a roll that is around $6 to $10, but for some reason, they were charging $14. They made the rolls bigger, but not by filling them with more shrimp, avocado, etc.; instead, they added more rice. This may be someone's cup of tea, but it wasn't mine, and I won't be back, but wish them the best! read more

There was this favorite sushi place. I used to visit in Brentwood Tennessee that closed after the pandemic. Sushi Thai reminds me of that place and fills that hole in my tastebuds. The sushi is so fresh here. Service is nice and efficient. It's a small place with a few tables and no waiting area, but don't let a wait deter you. And, if you have any room in your tummy after dinner, definitely order the mango sticky rice for dessert. I say I will try some of the hot dishes here, but the sushi always wins. read more

The staff did a great job establishing a comfortable environment. The hospitality and niceties of the staff were genuine and professional. The food exceeded my expectations. The Thai food here is great!! The staff was lovely !!! The place is clean and convenient to the interstate. They have a huge menu. My mom and I dined here on Valentines Day and it was so delicious! The restaurant is very small so seating is limited. Around 7pm they got a rush of guests (typical for Valentine's Day) but they only had 1 waitress working the restaurant and she took care of every table by herself. She did an amazing job! The sushi rolls were so, so good! The pricing is also incredibly fair. We had two glasses of wine, two house salads, and two huge sushi rolls for $60! We will definitely be returning. read more

Sushi Thai is one of my favorite restaurants, it is such a hidden gem. Since it's fusion, the menu has a variety of different options including pad Thai, curry, sushi, stir fry and more! I take all my friends here and they have all liked it. read more

They called me back which is good but the owner had the balls to tell his/her employee (Katie) that they wouldn't give me a refund for the one that had the hair if I didn't dig in the trash and bring them the roll as proof that we didn't eat it. Maybe she/he would eat something that has a hair but NO us. All they are getting is a picture of trashed out sushi... if they think I'll dig it out of the trash to eat it they come from very low places. THEY AGREED TO GIVE ME $18.50 BACK so I sent my husband back. He comes home with $7 after THEY TOLD ME AND AGREED to give us the money back for both but they DIDN'T. So they are LIARS AND WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY FOR EVERYTHING. YOU CAN'T DO BUSINESS LIKE THAT. NOT BECAUSE YOUR ENGLISH ISN'T GOOD DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE RIGHT. BAD WAY OF DOING BUSINESS. So I placed an order to go today and the lady (older lady, can tell by the voice) that took my order repeated exactly what I ordered but my luck is bad I guess and when my husband got back home with the food it wasn't right. I specifically told the lady NO CREAM CHEESE for all the rolls that came with it but the Sunrise Roll had cream cheese and I see the ticket says "no crunchy". The other disappointment was the HAIR on the Crunchy Shrimp Roll. Yucks! I called the restaurant back for a refund on those two items and they told me they wouldn't give me a refund that I just need to go there and they give me the food again for free. Like not ma'am. I don't want another roll and I don't know when I'll be able to go back. So the lady (younger, can tell by the voice) that took my call took my information and said a manager will call me back... I'm not holding my breath but I'm waiting in good faith for a call back. I've been here a few times to dine in and it has been really good. This was my 1st time ordering to go. Their to go quality really isn't the best in my opinion. No pictures for this order other than the receipt. You don't mess with a pregnant ladies food :/ read more

#fatjared say...good, not great. Had a bit too high of expectations, but not disappointed. For my grading I stay consistent and I stay disciplined. 5 stars on Yelp is perfect, so you must be perfect to get that. 1 star is as low as you can go, so I can't have anything good to say. 3 is right down the middle average. Sushi Thai was that. Average. Were there good things? Yea. The garlic sauce on the edamame was awesome, the spice level was what I would expect a 3 to be, and the sushi options were extensive. The place is clean, but menus are in rough shape, they changed pricing but didn't update menus, and the service was decent at best. Overall, I had a good time because I was with my wife, but would try another place before coming back. read more

This is truly authentic Thai and Japanese cuisine. From the quality to service shows on the table when delivered. Eating here three times a week as it's the real deal. read more
After a few weeks of enduring one nightmare after another, I gave in and ordered some comfort food for delivery. Some of the reviews stated the Gyoza is very good, and I'll agree. It wasn't as warm as I would've liked, but it wasn't cold either which was great. The steam had melted part of the styrofoam box it was housed in, so that is a bit concerning. The vegetable roll was OK. Not the best I've ever had, but still tasty. I was pleased with the amount of ginger included, but displeased with the quantity of roll for the price. Initially I couldn't decide between Tom Kha or Pho, but knew I wanted a warm soup-like selection since the weather has just turned cold. I eventually settled on the Tom Kha with chicken as the protein and a mild spice level. The mild is very mild, and the flavor of this soup is spot on. Not too thick, not too watery -- just overall very good with a generous serving of veggies too. The service was great. All of the applicable utensils and condiments were included, and the order was prepared and delivered well under the estimated time of a 45 minute minimum. I'd be eager to order for delivery from here again if it weren't for the astronomical charges. After a delivery fee, a service fee, plus tax, plus a gratuity, the total order cost almost doubled which is sheer insanity. If I hadn't had such a terrible week, I wouldn't have spent the money. I didn't knock off a star for this as I know the restaurant isn't to blame. read more

My boyfriend and I are visiting TN and are so glad we tried this restaurant out!! This place was absolutely phenomenal!! Our waiter was so sweet too!! We had the beef pad Thai spicy #4, The Walk Away Roll, Triple Crown Roll, beer and tried many of the sakes! 10/10 recommend coming here!! On top of great food and server, they even had soothing music and atmosphere. We will definitely be back one day!! read more
