Love their ceiling lights~!!
Hong Yuen W.

We LOVE Bodhi Asian Street Eats~!! Background: My boyfriend discovered Bodhi and excitedly brought me there for dinner around 6pm two days ago on 8/28/25. We always get our Thai fix at DegThai but they don't serve my favorite Pad Woon Sen (PWS, stir fried glass noodles)...so, I've been hunting a good place down for 5+ years in Nashville area. Food taste and portion size: Bodhi's PWS is super yummy and very perfectly portioned!! I was unsure of their spicy levels so the waitress brought me their chili flakes and chili oil separately. In fact, everything we ordered was fresh and delicious~!!! Piggie Fries and Steamed Shrimp Dumplings make the perfect appetizers; PWS is Pan Fried Noodles (choose glass noodles) and Bodhi Fried Rice can be customized without veggies for my boyfriend. I'm now aiming to try everything on their menu haha Cocktails and Drinks: I know I will always order the Bodhi-tini (owner Nancy's signature creation)!! Their server Grace also recommended me this other lemony cocktail which has a refreshing twist of basil~ Their Jack and Coke is standardly good. And their Thai Tea is also amazing! Space and Ambience: Their space is very welcoming and very nice with the tall ceiling. There's a huge L-shaped bar and multiple tables, and a couple of tall tables. The lighting is very comfy and special with a translucent covering (cloud-ish) over the rectangular ceiling lamps. I love the special string lights they have and also the love the ceiling painting of clouds and vines inherited from the previous Italian restaurant space. Oh, their male bathroom is a single room but super spacious haha~ Events: The owner Nancy mentioned she organized a novel Bodhi-kase a couple days ago: an omakase-inspired course of various Asian street food offerings. And they hosted a fantasy football league at their bar area while we were there. They are very creative and I can't wait to explore their events in future~! Owners and staff: Jason and Nancy are the owners and they are super friendly and lovely!! They moved here from Texas a few years ago and I am sure Bodhi will keep them here. Their staff are Grace and Rhim (hope I got her name right? she moved here from Bangkok a year ago and speaks excellent English~), who are both very efficient, observant, and hardworking. Conclusion: We will definitely be back~!!!

Chicken pad thai was DELICIOUS! Flavor was great.

We really enjoyed our dinner from Bodhi! We tried the chicken pad thai, red curry, and pot stickers. Flavor was great! Service was quick. The restaurant itself seems to be really clean. Pricing was super reasonable. We will definitely be back!

Disgusting, super old, inedible FOUR DOLLAR side of rice.
Sydney H.

Food: inedible, day or two old rice. Absolutely disgusting. Service: girl laughed at me when i told her about the food and how it was inedible and said she could not give a refund and did not have a manager. The girl was extremely rude and below is the old rice that they gave me for my 3 year old.

These 7 pieces of pork is what a order of piggy fries are. Pretty disappointing
Justin D.

These 7 pieces of pork is what my order of piggy fries look like. Pretty disappointing. I don't mind spending the money that this place charges (pretty much in the higher side) but expect a respectable order of food. Will not be doing this again.

Hibachi Fried rice with chicken

Went to Bodhi with a small group for the music bingo on Thursdays. It filled up fast but the owner stopped by several times to check on the table and service was excellent. I got the edamame with sauce and the hibachi fried rice with chicken. Both were great and good serving sizes. Even with the big crowd food came out fast and hot! Will definitely be back!!

Vermicelli salad with chicken
Kelli M.

It was so good I may walk out and come back in with a hat on and order more!!! Our table tried duck wontons (amazing!!) and the Bodhi Edamame is a must order. I could drink the sauce (I mean I might have.) We ordered: red curry with chicken, Bodhi fried rice with shrimp and the Vermicelli Salad with chicken. The last was my favorite, probably because that's what I ordered. Everything VERY fresh and extremely flavorful. Friendly staff and very clean. I highly recommend will be back!

MEATBALL STIX, Fresh rolls

We were looking for a good Thai restaurant and thought we'd stop here. Had pepper and garlic chicken, fresh rolls, meatballs, and pad Thai. All were good and service was even better. Portions were not too big and we left happy and full. They did have football games on. That was just a bonus.

Pineapple fried rice and pad tai
Kal D.

We just discovered this newer Tai place. The food was by far the best Tai food we've had in a long time! The owner was there and is very hands on with making the food. I wanted to share because I'd love to see this place thrive! Tonight is the first night for some live music too. They'll be adding poke bowls soon. 100% with make this a regular stop for our fam

If you walk into a restaurant at 7pm on a Wednesday night and the place is fully packed and there…read moreare people waiting behind you to be sat, you KNOW you made the right decision to go there. We were greeted nicely by the hostess and waited roughly 5 minutes for a table to open up. A family of five came in right after us and decided to sit at the bar to eat. I knew in my heart that this was the best place to go to for my husband's birthday dinner. We sat on some barstools while we waited, discussing the hockey game playing on the tv behind the bar. I loved the low ambient lighting that spread across the ceiling. Our waitress was nice but she never gave us her name so I unfortunately can't shout her out. She gave us recommendations so I ended up taking one of hers. Now, if you have read my Thai restaurant reviews, you know by now that I judge a Thai restaurant by ordering their Pad Thai the first visit, however, I broke that rule because I just KNEW this place was going to be good. We ordered the Tom Kha soup with chicken, Pad Kee Mao with chicken, I ordered the Khao Soi Gai (it comes with chicken, no substitutions), and one Thai iced tea. You guys. When the Tom Kha soup touched my lips, I was SO excited to get the main course! It was made PERFECTLY. I haven't had true Tom Kha since probably when I lived in California over a decade ago. The Thai tea was strong and delicious, exactly how it should be made. The Khao Soi Gai...that first sip of the curry broth nearly made me go Meg Ryan-mode in the restaurant. If you know, you know. "I'll have what she's having!" Our waitress recommended this dish and I'm so glad I was adventurous and tried something different outside of my "I'll judge you based off of your Pad Thai" attitude. It was perfect and when I say perfect, I didn't even add lime juice to it because I didn't want to mess anything up with the flavor profile. Sure, lime could have added another element to the dish but when I say it was perfect the way it was, it's true. The night at Smiley would have ended perfectly if it weren't for the miserable couple who sat beside us discussing how unhappy they were in their marriage and decided to accept the waitstaff into their broken marriage by being completely rude. But the staff remained professional and kind through it all and I give them HUGE props for that because I was a moment away from telling that wretched couple off. In short, the staff here are wonderful, and the food is memorable, delectable, delicious, perfect...it's HEAVEN. We will DEFINITELY be back to try other menu items!

I had the Pad Tai prawns, it was a lot of food but it was so gooooood!!! I couldn't even finish it all, so I took it home, our server was very attentive, the ambiance was good, packed but not loud! Definitely would recommend and we will be back!

When it comes to sushi I love raw salmon and am allergic to avocados so I ordered the Orange Blossom Roll and a Salmon Roll. The prices are super reasonable which made me want to order more things than I probably normally would. The food was so good that even though it's been a couple of weeks since I went to the restaurant for dinner, I'm still thinking about it. I will very likely be ordering more things next time! Also for those who are not sushi fans like I am, they have a huge menu with plenty of non-sushi foods too. I can't wait to go back! Also just as an added plus, they have plenty of free parking with their own lot right out front.

This is one of the rare times the Yelp reviews don't live up to my expectations. I'm giving 4 stars…read morebecause the staff was so friendly and kind, and I don't want to trash a small business. This is a no-frills, smaller restaurant inside a strip of stores in a questionable-looking area of town. As I parked the car, I thought twice about actually going in, but based on the Yelp reviews, I decided to give it a try. It was clean inside, and, as I mentioned, the service and staff were 5-star! My food was where it went wrong for me. I started with the summer rolls (the ones in rice paper); they serve sushi and Thai food here. I have been craving summer rolls; I love the freshness of the mint and herbs, combined with crunchy peanuts and peanut sauce. However, that fell short for me here. The peanut sauce was reddish and tasted more like ketchup, so that was a letdown. No little peanuts anywhere in the sauce or on the plate. It was jam-packed with iceberg lettuce, which you would typically put on a Taco, so it wasn't very fresh-tasting, and it contained the tiniest piece of shrimp I've ever seen inside. Following my gut, I decided not to order my usual sushi selection, which is always raw, unfried, and unsauced. However, I decided to play it safe, so I opted for a Mexican roll instead. I asked for no eel sauce, but I should have also specified that I wanted spicy mayo on the side. It covered my roll, and I had to use a napkin to remove what I could. This is usually a roll that is around $6 to $10, but for some reason, they were charging $14. They made the rolls bigger, but not by filling them with more shrimp, avocado, etc.; instead, they added more rice. This may be someone's cup of tea, but it wasn't mine, and I won't be back, but wish them the best!

The service was great, our server was so kind and knew a lot about the menu. The drinks were hit and miss-- I loved my NA cocktail but the hubs did not love his old fashioned and mentioned it was very sweet. The ambiance was dark and cozy, giving almost speakeasy vibes. The food was very good, with some standouts and some that were good but not great: The Brussels sprouts were a 10/10- perfect cook, fantastic crunch from the pine nuts, and delicious spices. The BWD- very good iteration. Bacon was crispy. No notes. The meatballs-- LOVED the sauce. So rich and perfect with the fatty pork. Pork belly- probably the only miss. The sauce was supposed to be sweet but was very bitter. The pork belly itself was good but we didn't enjoy the flavors of the dish. I ended up dipping the meat in the sauce of the albondigas! Piquillo peppers- very good iteration again. Classic, no notes. Green rice- my favorite of the night. The crisp rice and snap peas paired so well with the guanciale. So good! Octopus- I found the pistachio a little overpowering but the cook was near perfect. Even the hubs enjoyed it and it normally icks him out. Empanada- good flavor and I loved the sauces, only criticism was it was a bit under seasoned. Some flaky salt would do wonders. Overall we had so much fun trying these dishes and would definitely return! We had zero room for dessert but next time will try their tarta de Santiago or their basque cheesecake!
