Some really great all you can eat sushi. One of the few places around that still offers all you can eat. It includes some appetizers and any roll on the menu, including the special ones. So my girlfriend and I are from Las Vegas and have been looking for a AUCE sushi place. We finally found this spot since we were in the Everett area. First impression is there was a sign on the door that said "no public restroom" not sure what that means but as a restaurant I expect to have a restroom if I need it. So we walked in and sat at the bar. Super small place but cozy. We got the AUCE for $28.95, which is higher than we are used to paying. So we ordered our usual sushi and rolls. The first roll was a california roll and it was massive! That isnt always a bad thing but this wasnt rolled great and fell apart in my chopsticks. Also there was so much filling I had to eat in a few bites, which you dont get to taste the full roll in one bite. We got our Salmon and there was a huge slice of salmon and a ton of rice. Now normally im okay with a little more salmon and rice, but these portions were so big they tasted mostly of rice. So all and all it was alright. Would I come back, no. The reason I wouldnt come back is 1. To much rice 2. Poorly rolled rolls ( fall apart easily) 3. Too far from my home and 4. Way to costly for not great guality. read more

Sushi rolls are awesome but the Mexican owner kills the mood. My friend was taking pictures of the rolls that we order and the owner was looking at her like she was a terrorist (not exaggerating)... I've noticed that she would add some change to our bill so the 3rd time there, i started to write down the prices, she came over and asked for the menu, I told her that I wanted to hold on to the menu because I wanted to order more, she said no, I'll give you the other menu when your ready to order more... I had ordered 2 Elvis rolls on the erasable menu, we had received all the rolls that we had ordered and I has asked the owner about the Elvis roll.. she came over with the menu and had erased the rolls from the menu trying to say that I didn't order it..(that was the first thing that I had marked on the menu and I could even see the red smudge from where she tried erasing it).. As an owner, she has a lot of issues and should be treating her clients/ customers with better respect!! love the rolls but Tokyo House on Everett Mall Way has way better customer service and is just as good! read more

Most all you can eat sushi places are belt or buffet style which can make freshness an issue. The awesome thing about Sushi Ring is that the sushi is made fresh in front of you from reasonably fresh fish. I highly recommend the albacore tuna, sex on the beach roll, and the basil salmon roll. I have been going to Sushi Ring for over 7 years. I have always gone with 2-4 people who happen to enjoy Sushi and partake in the all you can eat. This year for my brithday I wanted to go for Sushi. My husband called ahead and asked if they could accommodate a party of at least 10 up to 13 for a family brithday. No mention that we would all need to sit at the bar if the entire party wasn't eatting AYCE. This was a family dinner our party included an infant, two children and a 12 year old. The bar is not a place for an infant and a toddler. There was plenty of space for us all to sit at the tables, but they refused to seat is there. I explained that they were willing to lose a bill over $300 due to the potential that a person not eating AYCE would consume since freaking sushi. Essentially accusing us of stealing!!! The people not eating all you can eat would have ordered off their non sushi order with the exception of the vegitarian who was planning on ordering a few vegitarian rolls and wouldn't eat anything else. Their business model has zero honor system is losing them more money than just trusting their customers. I'm would say that we were semi-regulars...you know sometimes we go 2 times a month others we go every other month. Spending at a minimum of $75 a visit. I hope that they learn their lessen and chill the fuck out or go out of business at this point. Needless to say we will not be returning. We enjoyed my brithday at a different restaurant....which happen to have a bill over $300 not including tip!!!! I must admit. I was a huge skeptic walking in and based on other reviews, I wasn't alone. It's nestled in a little shopping center across from Silver Lake. The outside is clean and new. Inside, new and clean. The staff is super nice. I will say the get behind a little with cleaning up dishes from previous customers (hence the 4 stars). Sushi: Grade A+ So far some of the best that I've had in Washington. They do have an all you can eat price at around $30. It's probably worth it, if you are starving. The rolls are at a great price and they are made to order and not on a belt. They've made a true believer out of me. as far as american sushi goes this place does well. The staff is friendly, the sushi is firm and is well priced. I have done the all you can eat and walked out very content and very full..way too full. i found that their unique rolls compliment the PNW passion for sushi, which is nice as every region should bring its own flair into its cuisine. Sushi is not for the faint of heart, if you arent a fan of seafood or sticky rice or imitation crab then its not for you. This is a review of the All You Can Eat sushi experience at the bar. Sushi Ring is one of those places you go when you are sick of over priced sushi. It's also one of those places you go when you are hungry and ready to go crazy. Because you LOVE sushi and you cant choose between only two rolls. Food: -The fish quality is very good, but certainly not amazing. The quality of the sushi is amazing though. These sushi chefs know what's up. Lupe and gang will hook you up with what ever you want. Just ask, it will always be delicious every time. (I recommend the "Sex on the Beach Roll"). Staff: -Lupe and his crew of chefs and fry cook in the back are super good at their jobs. Great sushi chefs with experience. You'll be amazed how fast, good quality and well attentive they are to their guests. The gal that runs the rest of the customer facing functions is not very nice all the time. She is typically very busy and isn't in the mood for B.S. Just let her do her thing and be polite and you will be fine though. Atmosphere: -The sushi bar is a ton of fun. Only giving three stars though because the service was terrible and the lady here is really mean and talks bad about you in Spanish. How have I not written a review for this place? this is my favorite sushi place on earth, I've been eating here for 12+ years and it's always fresh and delicious. I've eaten at a lot of sushi places in the Seattle area and there are none as good as the Sushi Ring. I love the Arigato Roll, Spider Roll, Crystal Shrimp, Dragon Roll, Elvis Roll, etc. Honestly, it's all good. I usually get the "all you can eat" option and I average about $90 at regular menu prices so it's definitely a good deal for me. I usually get oyster shooters when I come for dinner and start off with a plate of gyoza. One of the other things I love about this place is that you can order individual pieces of sushi rather than just rolls. If you go to N'Joy Sushi in Mill Creek, they only let you order full sized rolls, threaten to charge you more if you don't finish what you order and then the owner sits and stares at you like a gargoyle to see if she can find a reason to ding you for not finishing. I can eat as much as I want at Sushi Ring without having to stuff myself to the point of discomfort and not walk away feeling like I wanted more. The owner and staff are always friendly and attentive and this has a "Cheers" sort of friendly, neighborhood feel to it. I wish I could have some right now! read more

Came here with my husband today because he wanted sushi (no seafood for me!) So my first impression... I walked in the door and was greeted by a young lady with a menu. She asked, "just one?" I said no, my husband is parking the car. Now this is generally where the hostess seats you, right? No, she turned around and walked away never to greet us again. Lost a star for that one. So the sushi chef motioned us over to the sushi bar where we sat down. At this point, the same young lady (hostess?) asked what we were having, I said I wasn't having sushi so she handed me a menu, then dialed her cell phone and walked over to the other side of the restaurant and talked on the phone. She never did return to take my order. I got tired of waiting because *nobody* was taking my order and my husband finally asked the sushi chef if she could take it, which she did. Lost another star. During this time, someone yelled over that they needed the girl on the phone but she totally ignored them and just kept talking. I'm not familiar with sushi joints but I'm thinking the sushi chef should be making sushi, not having to hostess, waitress, etc. Other than that it was good. My husband enjoyed his sushi. I had gyoza and vegetable tempura, both were good though I wasn't crazy about the tempura green beans. I do have to add that if you want to drink water, order bottled water (if they have it) or bring your own. The tap water tasted weird. The sushi chef was very nice and if it weren't for her we probably would have walked out. We'll probably return because of the all you can eat sushi. The All You Can Eat Dinner is a great deal for under $30.00. My rating would be 5 Stars if it were for the sushi and value alone. Unfortunately, the service can be a little surly and lacking in communication as to where to sit and how to order more if you are not sitting at the counter. To make the experience 5 Stars: Sit at the counter and ask the sushi chefs to surprise you with something you may not have had before. My husband and I took our kids for lunch we were excited to eat sushi. As soon as we got in we were greeted rudely by the waitress/server. I thought I was just exaggerating but then we she sat us down. I noticed how rude she really is. We ordered the all you can eat sushi. If I could give zero stars, I would. Upon entry, the waitress was extremely rude and ordered us to wait outside. So we did. We waited for over half an hour only for the waitress to seat and serve two men without face-masks despite a sign clearly stating must be wearing a face mask to enter. She did not take our name or number down, nor did she put us on a waitlist. Yet she seated the two men who most likely arrived after us before she seated us. I had been craving sushi for a while and instead of going to a place where I had to limit how much I wanted to eat due to prices, I decided I wanted all-you-can-eat! I love eating nigiri sushi and hand rolls so this place was definitely the best deal for what my boyfriend and I were getting! With tax and tip we paid about $75 for both of us, but we both got the AYCE dinner. We started our meal with miso soup and salad along with octopus calamari (spicy version=sriracha sauce on top). Later came the mussels baked with mayonaise on top which were really good! The various nigiri dishes we had were hamachi, maguro, tamago, ika, imitation crab, unagi, and amaebi. Then we each had a salmon skin hand roll (which was my favorite!) and my boyfriend had the elvis roll. We finished the night with delicious vanilla ice cream topped with whip cream. UPDATE: Back from all you can eat Sushi. I told my husband and kids what others put out for a review, my daughter pointed out on the menu their instructions. If you order all you can eat, you cannot share with one who has not. You need to eat the rice before ordering more sushi. There was an entire section of instructions/rules. Makes sense to me and if you don't think you have to follow them then you are the one who is rude and ignorant. Also, if you cannot get a seat at the bar and you want all you can eat you can sit at the tables only if the entire party is ordering all you can eat. (Recommend the bar seating though) So let that be known before you go to Sushi ring, or actually read their menu. There's always someone who wants to cheat so rules have to be in place. I do not care for ice cream, gave it to my daughter and Elvis noticed and asked me. I said no, I don't like Ice cream so he offered up a plate of fresh watermelon with a sweet plum wine over it. I have been coming to this joint since 2006, it is still one of the best sushi I had up north. Hitomi has always been my chef of choice, she is my sushi-Okaasan. They don't serve some of the more expensive sushi items like Toro or Uni, but everything else they have on the menu has been fresh and delicious! Not to mention they also have one of the best Calamari out there! I don't think I have ever been disappointed here, not even once! The crew has always been nice to me and my guests. Arent we glad this place is close to our house. After driving by this place for the longest time, we have finally decided to stop by and try out their AYCE menu. Once we walked in, we were greeted and the host sat us at the sushi bar. Once we sat down, she was ready to take our order and within minutes, calamari and our first roll have already arrived. The elvis roll was delicious and the fried calamari was one of the best I had in the seattle area. Every roll we had were tasty and i cant wait to go back to try more. They really push the all-you-can-eat. Other than that it was good. A buddy and I tried the all you can eat and the rest of our group just order ala carte. If some people in your group want all you can eat, and the rest don't, then they make you sit at the bar. Even if you have a group of 6. The food was good and I will probably go back but I prefer other sushi spots in the area. The all you can eat doesn't include sashimi and you have to eat all the rice on your plate. I came here for all you can eat to fix my sushi craving. Food is delicious overall with wonderful presentation; you're given a tiny boat for your soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger. Nick's Rock Belly roll stood out the most for me with its mildly fruity sauce poured over a raw roll. The ginger and wasabi are wrapped in a plastic wrap and put on top of the tempura roll I got so it became hot. If I could afford to eat all you can eat sushi every week, I would jump in my car & drive the worthwhile distance, if only for one of his delicious & surprising *basil salmon roll* or simply the fresh, yummy nigiri.... their handrolled salmon skin rolls & their upside-down shrimp should not be missed. I've seen some other reviews say they had bad service, & I can honestly say that every time we've been (about 10-12 times since we found it), we get a seat right at the bar & are served quickly & with love from the waitstaff & sushi chefs, whether Elvis is in *but he usually is* or not. The *All You Can Eat* price is very affordable, compared to what you will pay for the same quantity & quality at any other city Sushi bar, and the service can not be beat by the charm, wit & humor that the proud proprietor puts into his work. My friend who lives in Mill Creek mentioned this place to me (being a huge sushi fan) but I never made the effort to go out there and check it out, but now I am glad I finally did. Took it upon ourselves to divulge into the all-you-can-eat which gives you the option to choose just about everything on the menu. Tried some new ones I've never tasted (salmon basil roll?! amazing!) and definitely got my money's worth and then some. I expected a huge business but its a tiny restaurant with space for about 50 or so people at once. The menu is easy to understand with prices displayed and the chefs are quick and nice, although we did go on a not-so-busy day and sat right at the bar. If you can shell out $30+ and have the appetite for loads of sushi and the usual japanese sides, then definitely stop in. read more
