I usually love coming here because it's nearby, affordable, and good quality I came by here for dinner on a Tuesday. Did the online waitlist and was seating around 15/20 minutes. My usual go-tos are the yuzu tuna, truffle yellowtail, and seared salmon. I grabbed the tuna and yellowtail off the conveyor belt and first bite I had noticed the quality went down from my previous visits. I saw the seared salmon and it looked like it was out for a while so I decided to just order off the tablet. This fixed the issue for me. The fish was coming out fresh again do I just continued to do that. The rice potion did get significant larger than before.

Yummy conveyer belt sushi! Decently priced with excellent fish quality. Love the truffle flavored sushi and the seaweed sushi! While everything else was great, those two stood out to us. The truffle flavor was perfect and not overwhelming while the seaweed texture is so unique. Would definitely return! Great service as well and a cool modern well lit vibe

Food was good and there was a decent selection. A little annoying about being limited time wise on ordering from the kitchen, which I get it, but still annoying. A lot of the nigiri came with truffle and it was a little overpowering after the first few dishes. Wish they had more nigiri options without it. Salmon and yellowtail were my favorite. Decent amount of seating but can get full quick. Plenty of parking. Great service.

Good fish sizes despite the rice to fish ratio being ok. They actually have pretty unique flavors for example for the Unagi it's a strawberry Unagi so a piece of a strawberry compote on top. The carpaccio plates are also pretty good flavorful. For the ginger slices on the side they're actually pretty big and not as minced. This conveyor belt, sushi place think of it almost like an elevated version of your typical sushi conveyor belt at Kura. It can get busy during dinner time on weekends but still a reasonable wait time as long as you check in first. You basically can get one of the plates along the sushi conveyor belt for $3.75 or order on the iPad at the table for even more expensive plates that range from around average $5 to $10

Got here 4:30pm before the dinner crowd already 1/3 full. Service is fast. Seated me immediately Inside is clean modern and designed with efficiency Water brought to me. Soy sauce and wasabi already at table I couldn't figure out how to open the lids of the plates on conveyer belt. Ask waitress. U pull the plate horizontal out and triggers the lids to open. Don't push or open the lid open, doesn't work. The food was fresh. More options on table tablet. A small tray to shoot to you and ask u to push its button when u got your order. Will come again

This is the newest conveyer belt sushi place in the Tustin Marketplace (near Panda Express and Yogurtland). Most pieces rotate on the conveyer belt for you to grab, then there are some special order items you can order separately and they'll shoot it out to you on a different part of the conveyer belt. Pretty good for conveyer belt sushi!

Came here with coworkers during lunch for a quick, yet celebratory casual bite! Great spot for when you crave sushi and need a short sit-down, 30-45 min meal. Atmosphere is casual & modern, and restaurant is simple and clean. Layout always throws me off a bit when I walk in... you can practically see the top of everyone's heads all at once. There are walls but minimal separation, with openings and kind of short... sort of reminds me of an open office space concept haha The revolving sushi setup is fun. You can grab plates directly from the conveyor belt, and there's also a tablet to order things like carpaccios and hand rolls, which get delivered to your table on a little train. I appreciate how the sushi comes with juuuust a thin layer of rice to maintain the focus on the fish, while not making you too full on carbs. I also love their toro handroll & yuzu tuna! Service is pretty minimal here, no one really came by to introduce themselves or refill waters, so it felt more of a self-serve, grab-and-go experience. Overall... quick and fun sushi fix, quick return back to work!

Pretty delicious sushi, high grade on a conveyor belt! We came on a saturday afternoon and got seated easily. I really loved the eel sushi, the godzilla roll, the salmon, and the scallop! Each dish is only $3.75 which is not a bad price. If you don't see the one you want on the belt you can order from the ipad too and some speciality ones like hand rolls. I think the tuna is not as fatty as i would hope but all the other rolls were great. Could also benefit from iced water as well.

Finally got to try Sushi REV tonight and the truffle flavored nigiri's did not disappoint! I came at around 8pm on a Saturday night. I joined the waitlist from my car and waited around 10 minutes to get a table. No complaints about the food or service. The truffle flavored nigiri's and the strawberry unagi were the highlight of the meal!

Came on a Tuesday night so it wasn't too busy! Plenty of parking and service was okay. We had sushi delivered to our table a few times when we did not order it and had to send it back. Menu is small ie. they don't have items like tuna/salmon crispy rice. Restaurant is also small in size so expect to have long wait times during peak hours. Most of the nigiri was $3.75 which is standard for revolving sushi bar prices. Other items vary in price. We got: -- salmon nigiri (my fav by far, fresh and vibrant + delicious) -- truffle salmon nigiri (worth a try, ok) -- yuzu jalapeño tuna nigiri -- shrimp crunch roll (don't recommend, not that good) -- tuna carpaccio -- raw shrimp nigiri (not as good as the one at Eat's Sushi + only tasted the sriracha on top and not the shrimp at all) -- squid nigiri (don't recommend, the flavor of the squid does not come through) -- yellowtail nigiri (personally i liked it but my sister didn't like the aftertaste) -- toro nigiri (another fav! so fresh and yummy) -- tempura I don't think I would go back, but it was worth a try!

Good food, quality sushi, fast service, and affordable prices! Came in for dinner with a friend, and despite the Yelp Waitlist telling us we were 7th in line, there was actually no one there when we arrived so we were able to be seated right away! We ordered so much from the menu and also grabbed from the conveyor belt as well. Everything came out so quickly, was quality, delicious, and so affordable!! We stayed until we were some of the last people there (sorry! The food was just too good and we wanted to finish everything) but the staff was so nice about it and didn't rush us out. Can't wait to come back soon!

This is the highest-quality revolving sushi spot I've ever been to. We left incredibly stuffed for only $70, which is a rare find for this level of freshness. Seared Salmon: My absolute favorite. It has a perfect smoky flavor that really stands out. Other must tries: The truffle salmon, garlic albacore, scallop, and the toro (both the hand roll and gunkan) were all top-tier. Our waiter was so friendly. He even laughed it off when I accidentally pulled an entire container off the belt! The revolving belt is great, but they also have a screen for ordering specialty rolls and other items directly (please add the seared salmon to this, i didn't see it as an option) Definitely coming back!!!

I came with my wife on a Friday night during peak dinner time (7:30 pm) to a 90 minute wait. Yikes! Luckily, Yelp waitlist is a great friend. You can join at 4 miles away. Right away we noticed the modern and tasteful aesthetic. The restaurant design is very impressive - fellas take notes for an easy date night. Intimate seating arrangement with only booths, which still feel private despite the proximity to other diners. Looked like a max of 6 people per table. As expected, the iconic revolving belt runs the entire dining area where you'll find the classic selections trucking along. In addition you can order specifics (rolls, apps, etc) through your table tablet or a server as well. On that note, the good part: the food! I'll highlight some of our favorites. I'm personally a sucker for seared sushi - I recommend the shrimp and salmon. Deliciously smoky and subtly rich. So good I think i had over a dozen total pieces. What looked like their signature dish as I've never seen this before: the strawberry unagi. At first I was a bit skeptical, but it is uniquely addicting and refreshing. Sometimes unagi can be excessively rich with sauce abuse, but the strawberry does help balance it out along with a lighter glaze This is also the first place i've seen have truffle sushi so we had to try the truffle salmon. It's an explosion of flavor but still well-balanced. It's not simply "truffle oil" but a dollop of paste that seems to be made in-house. This is my wife's favorite, she had nearly 10 pieces herself lol Toro - literally melts in your mouth. Must try!! We were served by Will who was very friendly and attentive. The manager Nelson also stopped by to make sure everything was great (it was). Excellent staff service all around. Lastly, it was pretty reasonably priced for bougie sushi. We were stuffed with probably over 20 total plates which ran us a bit over $70. Very worth. Overall highly recommend this place if you're craving sushi!

We were seated promptly, my friend took on the obligation of explaining me how it all worked. The first issue I ran into was that the service in the shopping center is notoriously slow, and unfortunately the restaurant didn't offer any WiFi for customers, making it so that we kind of had to just juggle between grabbing whatever room temperature sushi came to us via conveyor belt (which was only salmon sushi, nothing else) or waiting for our phones to load up the ordering platform which let us do maybe 3 orders before completely crashing. I have been to kura a couple of times, and I liked their system of discarding the plates and counting as you go, Kaisen kind of just expects you to let your old plates pile up and they count them at the end. The employees were practically useless, you didn't get your water filled up, it had to be ordered on the system for them to acknowledge you. I am fine with modernity, but I feel that this place is picking and choosing very poorly what they "update". Would I come back? Maybe, but not my by own doing.

We ordered the following: Agedashi Tofu: This was honestly the highlight of the meal. I have been craving this appetizer, but not many places around here actually offer it. The last place I tried this was at Haku, and I was not impressed by it. However, the tofu here was really good! It was hot, crispy, and the sauce was perfectly sweet and salty. It comes with 4 larger sized pieces of tofu, which I thought was great, but could have been more for the price. Stir Fry Udon: This dish was advertised outside on one of their stand up signs by the front door. This is part of what brought us in, but upon receiving it, I was not too impressed. The sauce was extremely dark and it already looked salty. When I actually tasted it, I was not surprised that it tasted exactly how it looked. It was way too salty and saucey to the point, we were eating one bite then drinking water right after. It was a pretty simple dish with what looked like frozen carrots and peas and some cut up chicken. Lunch Bento Box Option 2: We opted in for the teriyaki salmon, gyoza, and salmon roll. It came with a side of salad and miso soup. The salmon was cut very thin and it did not have enough teriyaki sauce on it. It was on the dry side. The gyoza was nothing too special. Just felt frozen then dried with gyoza sauce. Miso soup and salad were also just decent. The best part of this meal probably had to be the salmon roll. I liked the big portions of salmon and the little rice on the outside. This was the perfect balance instead of just getting a mouthful of rice each bit like most other sushi places do. I think this place was decent, overall. The prices were definitely on the higher side for what you get. Nothing too much to rave about other than the agedashi tofu, so I will be by for that again, but not sure if I would necessarily get anything else. Service was attentive and great. Just know, not all their offerings are actually listed on the menu, so we did not even know how much the stir fry udon was until we got charged for it.

We were craving agedashi tofu, and that ended up being the highlight, it was really good. On the plus side, their sushi rolls had a great balance, not too much rice compared to the amount of fish, which I appreciated. They also offer some solid lunch specials, which is a nice option if you're stopping by during the day. It was very quiet when we visited, we were actually the only ones there, so I'm curious to see if it gets more lively at other times. I'd be open to giving it another try in the future.

I built my bowl with a half white rice, half salad base and chose crab, spicy crab, avocado, white onion, cucumber, and corn for the toppings. I appreciated that avocado didn't cost extra. For protein, I went with double salmon and eel. The salmon tasted fresh and was easily the best part of the bowl. The eel was fine, but nothing particularly memorable. I had it all with the Wasapon sauce, which added a nice creamy kick without overpowering everything else. I also added green onions, fried onions, garlic chips, and masago. The only thing I'd point out is that the masago portion was pretty small, and extra costs more. We didn't try any of the drinks, although they had a decent selection available. The total was a little pricier than I'd usually like for poke, but signing up for their rewards brought the price down enough that it felt more reasonable. Parking was easier than expected. I also LOVE the spicy miso broth and have been getting it every time I come, which is like one or twice a month, however, I went there yesterday and the spicy miso did not smell like it usually does nor did it taste like it. It had a different base flavor and I couldn't figure out what it was. I brought it up to my servers attention and they said nothing changed.
