Sushi is very good! It's our new AYCE spot. We've come here a few times and it's the best! I would have given it a 5 star however we come with our 3yr old and always order AYCE and they let us share with him since he's small and only eats maybe 6 sushi...but last time we went they said they had to charge us half ($18) for him. But we had visited less than two months prior, same age, same kid but no charge then or the year prior. And we were paying for 3 AYCE (3A 1C) so you'd think with spending more than $100 they would be accommodating or consistent. So just beware. We just won't take our kid anymore, sorry child lol But good place to eat, love their I Love Salmon roll and Golden Tiger is always bomb. A little gem in Hemet. I was so surprised to see that there was an AYCE sushi joint in this little town. I will admit the sushi here isn't as amazing as stuff you can get in OC and LA, but for this little city that's nowhere near the ocean, the food is pretty darn good! I went at about 7pm and it had about 4 tables empty. I went in with friends so we were a total of 3 and we got our seats, menus + drinks almost immediately. the the wait on our orders was nothing to complain about. The tiger roll spicy scallop roll and dragon roll are my favorite rolls the the tuna and albacore are always really fresh when we go. Went here about 3 times. The first time was a disappointment. The rice was thick and overly starchy and the fish pieces were on the small side. We decided to give it a second try and it wasn't much better but still better. The appetizers were nice and crunchy though, so that's a plus. The third time we went was to avoid driving 1 hr to Murrieta for sushi and chose to eat closer. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and delicious. And again, the sides were delicious and crunchy. The rice was perfect. For the nigiri, the rice to fish ratio was a little too much rice but it was still good! Either we went before on their off days, or they changed stuff up. But either way we were very satisfied for this visit. Thank god we were lazy and decided to give it another shot. Ayce is priced normally at 23.95 per person. The atmosphere is nice and the servers were very attentive. The sushi chef and staff are friendly. The only thing I would change is to have the shrimp tempura hot/warm. Unfortunately, when temper gets cold as with any better it's soggy so that was kind of a let down. Still very yummy. The all you can eat sushi is about $24 for dinner. This is the best deal because otherwise the portions, especially the sashimi, are extremely small and very expensive for what you get. I got the all you can eat because two of the roles I wanted were the same price as that and my husband ordered one tuna sashimi and one salmon sashimi and the bill with tip was about $100! read more

I was set to not like sushi-ray. The place looks shabby from outside and the restroom was outside :-/ but i was pleasantly surprised! The service was so friendly, inside was nice and clean but pretty small (see video i posted). I think a good sushi place is not judged by the rolls but by the sushi or sashimi. Sushi-ray did not disappoint. I posted pics to show the sushi is NOT all rice with a sliver of fish but a nice piece of fish resting on a nice little pile of rice...go check the pic... At first i thought lunch was pricey. My regular place is about $15 for AYCE buffet lunch and sushi-ray was about $20 for order off the menu lunch but it was def $20 worth of delicious sushi. Its been my experience that AYCE menu service is usually slow coming to the table. I think its so we get full faster and dont eat as much. But it was Fine with me. Give Sushi-ray a try! Came at dinner time for a friends birthday and we all ordered from the all you can eat menu. Price- About the same/Average of any other place with all you can eat sushi Staff- Friendly and very attentive Drinks - HUGE glasses, I'd be surprised if you needed a refill. Sushi - this was not even close to the best sushi I've had. It was okay but the meat to rice ratio was off and I felt a lot of spicy mayo and other sauces were used in abundance to hide that fact and make up for taste. Best part though? The way they turned downed the lots played some crazy "y'all ready for this?" music that transitioned into the happy birthday song as they brought out a complimentary green tea ice cream with a candle for my friend. Meanwhile the sushi chef used a blow torch and was looking crazy funny/maniacal waving it all around before grabbing a ribbon and running around our table with it. Seriously two stars are attributed to that performance alone. So funny and all together fun!!! read more
