We ordered the Bento Box: we chose the 3 items: Terriyaki chicken and California Egg Roll as main entre. The chicken was dry, although it had sauce on top; also included in the box was rice, Tempura Shrimp (small pieces), sweet potato, broccoli, two dumplings, and zuccinni and green salad with dressing.. The meal also included a bowl of Meso Soup. The California Roll was somewhat tasty, but I couldn't cut it with my fork as the seaweed was tough. Our guests ordered the Jalapeno Poppers for appetizer. This place is so deceiving!!! It almost looks closed. I'm so glad I stopped by. The parking lot is in the back so go down the driveway. The ambiance is the best sushi you will find in Hemet / San Jacinto. I have been to every sushi restaurant and it has the best ambiance. As someone who has worked at many sushi restaurants, the creativity of roll is extremely important as-well as the quality of fish. I have tried the moon roll, salmon, tuna, yellow tale, albacore, shrimp, chicken teriyaki bento box, and the hamachi kama (twice). The quality is very good. It is on par with the sushi ramen restaurant in west hemet Osaka, if not a little better. For hemet / SJ, it is the best. Roll creativity was there but with the limited selection of fish, there's only so much you can get. This restaurant is amazing, but you will not find O-toro, uni, or other more expensive fish. If I were to make a recommendation, I think this place should carry more cheaper fish like escolar and make escolar based rolls. But that's very nit-picky. Our server, Maria, was there both times we went in. She is helpful, knowledgeable, and provides good service. If you are looking for a cheap meal and you don't like fish (because you're a manchild), get the lunch bento box. It is amazing and only $12.95. It had chicken, rice, salad, soup, tempura shrimp and vegetables, and a 4pc cali. If you want to geniunely try this place, I would recommend the lunch special or regular menu sushi samplers. My favorite place to get sushi in Hemet and San Jacinto area. I highly recommend getting the spicy garlic edamame and the crunch dragon roll. Their hand rolls are also pretty generous with fish, as it's filled to the bottom of the hand roll. Is the space huge for the city it serves? Yes, as usually a portion of the restaurant is not used and has it's lights off. I think the lights are also pretty dim and there is a lack of windows, but it is great for gatherings regardless due to the amount of available space. Yay! Tonight was date night. We came in and were immediately greeted by Kurt the Manager (or GM) who was very sweet. There was no room in the Sushi Bar area so we got sat in the back which was fine with us because there was no one else back there. Yuna our server brought us one menu, the lunch specials, and the special rolls menu. I was so very excited because I haven't had sushi since we left San Diego. I ordered a green tea and the hubs ordered a Sapporo beer. Yuna gave us some time to figure out what we wanted as it was our first time here. After figuring out what we wanted the hubs went with the Teriyaki Rib Eye Steak med rare which also came with a Miso soup($21.95) and the whole shrimp with garlic butter ($13.95). I went with the Caterpillar Roll ($11.95) and the Hawaiian Roll ($11.95) knowing I was also going to have the New York Cheesecake drizzled with chocolate and whipped cream ($5.95). My food was really good and the plating was very appealing. I would order everything I ordered again! My hubs steak was sent back to put back on the grill as it was a bit too rare for him but they fixed that issue right away. The star of the night appeared in the shrimp sauce! That garlic butter was amazing. It wasn't just garlic in butter... it was so good I asked for a special dish to bring the rest home. I am going to buy some french bread to eat the rest of that! And that NY Cheesecake was also amazing. For some reason the pic of the Hawaiian roll isn't on my phone, not sure what happened. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place really is and have been wanting to come here since their grand opening and then Covid19 happened. We were visiting my mom near this area so I went to dine in for dinner. Its a small place but very spacious inside. There were a lot of choices to see in their menu. Sushi to sizzling to ramen. The place is clean and not too noisy in my opinion. Its relaxing and chill. The service has been good except for the part where i waited at least 20-25 min of the sizzling beef after getting my other dishes. I suggest you expect for delay if its sizzling menu.
