Buffets, dare I say that the food is worth the price! I went on a weekend and it cost 21.99 USD. 60 and above will also get a 10% discount! I went for the fresh oyster bar!!!! Had too much to count. One thing is certain, it really is fresh. I also had the Salmon and Tuna Sashimi. No complaints. The salmon skin is crispy too! Highly recommended. However, the fruits there aren't the best. The skin on the bun is also tough. Aside from the fruits, everything is good. The service is very professional and polite. The ambience is relaxing. Kid friendly with baby chair. I tried this place and was disappointed and grossed out. The food was cold and there were flies inside the establishment. The heat warmers were broken according to the staff, why on earth would they just leave the food out like that? it's not safe for consumption. I did receive a refund and the lady told me to tell them next time and they could "make fresh food" in the back for us. Birthday Party of 4, paid less that $100!! I love Hemet/San Jacinto. It's a developing area where businesses really want to prove themselves! I'm a chef, and I have ZERO expectations when we eat out because there is good in everyone's style. With that said I was VERY satisfied with the variety, freshness and the details of how the food was made. Here are some notes: Orange noodles were butter-garlicky delicious: 5 stars Beef and broccoli was cooked old school Chinese 5 stars Crab and shrimp with shell 5 stars Wonton was simple and fried perfectly 5 stars Sushi is small and compacted. Clean Good service. But the food leaves much to be desired. I expected better great place to bring the kids. I guess but I would not come here for a date night. Not not too many options to choose from. There are 6 steam tables. 2 of them are for desserts and one is for salads so that these 3 tables left for your main course. Then of course, there's the habachi grill. At least you know that's fresh. Not much to choose from there either. And the sushi is nothing that I would want to touch, it's not good. Came here on New Year's night, January 1, 2025 and there were only a few people inside. Tonight I learned a big lesson about buffets; if they're not busy, don't eat because the food has been sitting too long and it didn't taste good. If I ever come back here, I will do lunch because of the fresh food, but I will never do dinner here again unless the place is packed because the food was just blah. Hands down the worst buffet I have gone to outside of 100 buffet in San Diego! At this place the food all tasted like it was cooked in old oil, nice variety of options, but nonetheless the food was a no go! Had this burnt fish oily aftertaste! Place was clean but it was only like 12 people in there! I see why the lot is empty... CHANGE THE OIL OR HAVE SEPARATE OILS FOR DIFFERENT ITEMS! Health inspector might need to pull up and check them out before people get sick like expeditiously! Went there on a whim. The service was amazing . They were really efficient. When entering we were seated and since it's an all you can eat we searched ourselves. As for the drinks they were really on top of things . The ambiance isn't as hectic as a lot of buffets would be. It wasn't packed either . Plenty of parking and seating. I was not expecting much before coming here, but I was surprised. I did enjoy certain food items they had like the wings, creamy shrimp, and chow mien. I did not find the sushi or American dishes to be good. The selection had the basics any Chinese buffet should have, but it is lacking as others have mentioned. I think another main dish row would do them well. For the price per head, you would expect drinks to be included, but it is not. So for two people, expect to spend $5 in beverages. In all, we spent $49 for two people, not including tip. The area itself is pretty nice and clean. Staff was nice and was quick to take our plates. But once you touch the desserts, expect the bill to show up at your table. I've been here twice now and really love it. The choices are wonderful, and if you are a Pescatarian, you will love it also. Even though it is a bit more expensive, go on Friday or Saturday after 4 pm when the dinner items are put out. They have snow crab, raw oysters, sushi, Nigiri, and much more. They have great salad and soup options also. The service is decent enough to keep the 5 stars for me. They are all kind and polite... once you get their attention. Both times I went, all stations were very clean, and the best part is that the bathrooms are clean and do not smell like sewer water like most places in the Hemet/San Jacinto area. I am so glad this place opened up because I live seafood. Life (food wise) has been rough since leaving San Diego! The food was delicious, many choices: seafood: American fare, sushi, and of course Chinese. We went on Thanksgiving and we were pleasantly surprised that they had turkey, with gravy and mashed potatoes. They took great care of us, they were very cordial. My mother and I came here for early dinner. We were highly satisfied with the food and large selection. I highly Recommend the Mongolian grill. And the Chinese food. There were a couple items that could have been heated more. Other then that the flavor of everything was great. And the sushi was very fresh. The dessert selection is not that great mostly fruit and pudding. With some cakes. There is also I wide selection of food like 4 different dumplings, 5 different soups and a lot of seafood and shellfish. I would have liked to have given 5 stars, but the restaurant did not play any background music and the tvs they did have were playing the News only. So it made it a little uncomfortable being able to hear everything around you and not that relaxing to watch the news while eating. Also while we were there the host sat a Large group with a lot of young kids right next to us. The place was not that busy yet, so we decided to move seats. Young kids were kicking the booth we had behind them and yelling and crying. I haven't been to a Chinese food Buffett in YEARS. Heard that a new one opened up in town and decided to give it a try. We were greeted by a friendly staff member and the service throughout our visit was really good. The staff was polite and were working extremely hard trying to keep up with the crowd and keep everything clean and stocked up. That brings me to the food. I don't go into places like this with high expectations of it being a fine dining Buffett. You pay $22 and you get a $22 experience. They had a Mongolian grill that they called Hibachi. I did appreciate that everything was cleaned up and all the items were stocked and full. They put efforts and hard work into that. I can appreciate it. However. Typically these Mongolian bbq grills have sauces and seasonings etc. This one had a bottle of oil and a bottle of hot sauce. I asked the worker if they had any marinade or any sauces to add. He said no just garlic and hot sauce. Unfortunately, there was zero flavor in that plate. They have beef. Chicken. Shrimp. I had beef. And surprisingly the quality of beef was decent and cut nicely unlike a lot of other places. I noticed they had the typical tiny crab legs ($22 Buffett don't expect King Crab). Oysters. Crawfish. Etc. I don't think there was that great of variety. Orange chicken wasn't good. Sweet and sour chicken was ok except I bit into the inside of one piece and it was ice cold. I figured it was frozen and maybe flash fried. Spicy chicken was mid. Unfortunately the fruit areas weren't in the best shape. When I went the strawberries were not the color I'd hope for. And that's all I'll say about that. The dessert section. Typical for these types of buffets. Some will love it. No soft serve. You get the old school ice cream cups in a freezer. All and all. With prices the way they are now $22 is about right for what you get here. But. This should be about $17-$18 in my opinion. It's not that large and doesn't have too many selections. Hard working people inside wish them the best of luck. But the next day my stomach wasn't very nice. We won't be returning. read more
