Lunch. Good variety of Chinese food, salad, sushi, fruit and Mongolian stir fry. Faves include spicy chicken, chopped scallop on shell, wings, steamed bun with meat and jumbo prawns. Not so good was fried rice, rice noodles and dessert. Spicy tuna sushi very good. Finished plates were cleared expediently and place appeared clean although condiment bottles were a bit sticky. Not gourmet cuisine but given extremely fair prices, this is a winner in my book. ~EG Eats

Staff was super nice! you can tell this place leaves their food out for hours sushi was dry & the oysters were going bad. Overpriced for the quality of food $30 per person. Not to mention there was man sleeping at one of the booths. Would not recommend nor come back.

This was a random stop. We were all starving so I yelled this place. I give it a 3 star. When we came in the staff was nice and also let us know that dinner portion was starting in 7 mins so we don't get a surprise bill. The seafood was not as fresh as I expected. All the foods I've tried were tasty but I'd like it a little more fresh for the seafood no one wants a stomach ache afterwards.

Mongolian BBQ plate and one from the buffet line.

Golden Hibachi is a good Chinese buffet that has pretty good food from the buffet to the Mongolian grill that makes dishes fresh to order. I went on a Sunday evening and there was a decent crowd of young families and small groups of elderly people. With that being said, people took a moderate amount on their plates when getting food and didn't really utilized the grill. A lot of the substandard food was food that had been sitting on the buffet table for an extended period of time. The restaurant isn't going to refill the pan if its not running low. Some of the more popular dishes were refilled often like the honey walnut shrimp, salt and pepper prawns, noodles, pot stickers, onion chicken, chicken wings, beef broccoli, baked crab on the scallop half shell, poached salmon and the more well known Chinese food staples. Other dishes that were not as popular sat and dried out. After a while, those looked dried out and unappetizing. Even the crawfish boil was overcooked after sitting for who knows how long. Don't take the dried out stuff and expect it to be good. There isn't the foot traffic in the restaurant that night in Hemet that the cooks would be refilling everything. I arrived during the dinner "rush" at 5:30pm on a Sunday and I was surprised how empty the restaurant was. Most people took two plates on average and stayed less than an hour. I filled and ate 4 plates plus one from the Mongolian BBQ area and stayed over an hour. When the food was brought out fresh, it was VERY good. There was always crab legs on the buffet line and they were mediocre at best, I wouldn't expect them to pay for premium crab legs if customers weren't constantly snatching them up and the food was moving faster. The crab legs were smaller than most buffets but I can't fault the owners at all. The price for the buffet isn't bad. Service was quick and friendly. I got my soda refilled whenever I needed it and they were quick to take away my used plates. The atmosphere was very casual, well lit and the bathrooms were relatively clean. Utilize the Mongolian grill, get what you want, season how you want it, tip the cook, and you have a great fresh food to your liking. I think this place would do much better if they pared down their food selection so things would move faster and the food pans would get refilled with fresh food. Very reasonably priced for what you're getting. I give this place a solid 4 stars after seeing how everything came together.

Lots of food variety but the quality of food is not great. I prefer Four seasons better in San Jacinto.

Food was good and so was the service, I don't know why people give them crappy reviews.

There's something honest about a new sushi spot finding its footing, and Toro Sushi leans into that simplicity in the best way. No gimmicks, no overreaching, just clean cuts of fish, thoughtfully plated, and priced like they actually want you to come back. The sashimi (even the "small") punches above its weight, fresh, clean, no nonsense. You taste the ocean, not the freezer. That's already half the battle won. The sleeper hit here is the bento box. It's the kind of meal that reminds you value still exists, generous without being sloppy, filling without feeling like a compromise. The kind of plate that earns repeat business. Come in around 5:30 and it's still catching its breath. By 6, though, the place finds its pulse, busy, lively, the kind of energy you want in a neighborhood spot that's clearly starting to click. Service was kind, and quick, food came out decent too. The tempura shrimp and veggies was crisp and not too oily. The room itself? Polished. Modern. Spotless. Someone cares, and it shows. But like any place finding its stride, there are gaps. The men's restroom is a one-person situation, and if you've got a kid, you're out of luck, no changing table in the men's room, us millennial dads are not afraid of a poppie diaper. Not a dealbreaker, but a miss in a family-heavy area. Still, Toro Sushi doesn't try to be the loudest spot in the room, it just quietly does enough things right to make you want to return. And honestly, that's the kind of place that lasts.
