I've been coming here since after Covid and it's still the same great place even under new Owners Today I brought my 15 yr old Daughter here for the first time. She loves it.

Read the description of the rolls. Everything is a base California roll.

I'm only giving two stars because the servers tried really hard. But this place is absolutely not worth trying! The sushi was horrible. Everything is a California roll base with random toppings to be named a different roll. The sushi chefs were yelling at the waitresses and they were working so hard to get everyone's orders out in a timely manner. There aren't a lot of sushi options in Hemet so we decided to try this place. Unfortunately we will never be back. We'll be going into Menifee for sushi. Honestly save your money and go anywhere else.

All You Can Eat Sushi - what a treat. Tried the AYCE which includes appetizers, hand rolls rolls- traditional and baked specialties. ($33 Sept2024). We tried several rolls- dragon rolls, golden tiger, baked lobster and my favorite Volcano which has baked scallops on it so good! appetizers we tried the Tempura and gyoza (pot stickers) very good , skip the egg rolls a bit greasy. I like that the sushi rolls are on the smaller side this way you can sample more LOL. The two wait staff ladies were super nice and eager to get our orders right. My only criticism is that the tables need resurfacing badly actually the interior could use a mini make-over for sure. but that will not stop me from returning to this Hemet gem.

The table I got was sticky. That was a yucky feeling. When I went, it wasn't busy. The ambiance inside felt so gloomy. It's pretty dim inside. It felt so depressing. The customer service was good. They are all friendly there. It's just one set ayce price all day. I think it was about 35$ I could be wrong. Again, I'm not really paying attention to the price. I gave this place 3 stars bc the rice was really mushy, and everything I ordered was bland or tasted off. The miso tasted like water. Perhaps my taste buds are on the saltier side. The shumai was weird. It just tasted so fake. Lol. Like deep fried imitation crab blended with shrimp. I think I came on a day when the food wasn't really fresh. I'll try it again and maybe the experience will be better.

It had been over a decade since eating here. We decided to give it another try and was just as disgusted and disappointed as before. If you opt for the AYCE be prepared to eat sushi from TEMU. The fish was old and smelly and the rolls were tiny. Should've opted for stater brothers sushi instead

Rainbow Roll (if you can call it that.)

Sushi chiefs looked like they both sucked on a lemon. The waitress Samatha was great. The rolls could have been better made but when the Cheifs looked so bothered to do their job their it showed in their shoddy work.

Today was our first time at Sushi Ray; I never thought Hemet could have excellent sushi, but here it is! We had the all you can eat, and we enjoyed it all. The tempura was light and delicate. The cut rolls were very good, and the various sushi pieces were great. We will be back soon.

Sapporo Sushi - Menifee…read more We had such a nice family dinner at Sapporo Sushi! We ordered the kids' chicken teriyaki meals and the all-you-can-eat sushi, and everyone enjoyed their food. We were seated right away, which was a huge plus with kids. While we waited, the kids were given crayons and paper to draw, which was such a thoughtful touch and kept them happily entertained. The restaurant is one large open room and was very clean. It has a casual, family-friendly atmosphere that made it easy to enjoy our meal together. Parking was also very convenient with plenty of spaces available. Overall, we had a great experience -- friendly, quick seating, good food options for both kids and adults, and a fun place to enjoy sushi as a family. We'll definitely be back! They offer all-you-can-eat specials and other menu options. Check their current hours and specials before visiting since they may change.

Exceeded my expectations!…read more I don't think I've ever seen a sushi place that offers as big a menu as this place. There are so many different flavors and options to choose from, so you're definitely bound to find something that you like. I'm not an expert when it comes to sushi, and I don't eat it as often as I'd like, yet I think that they provide decent quality rolls and ingredients. I highly recommend trying out their tempura or baked rolls if you're not sure what to get. The prices are pretty standard to other sushi places, but I think they dress the rolls with more toppings here. * Golden Roll: 10/10 - so tasty and generously sauced * Fire House Roll: 10/10 - perfect level of spice * Calamari Roll: 9/10 - comes with deep-fried calamari and crispy flakes We came during brunch time and were able to be seated right away. Our waitress was very attentive, and we didn't have to wait too long for our rolls to come. The interior is actually quite spacious with plenty of tables and seating options to choose from. It's located in a pretty large plaza with other shops and restaurants, but finding parking should be relatively easy as it rarely gets crowded. Can't wait to come back!

There's something honest about a new sushi spot finding its footing, and Toro Sushi leans into that simplicity in the best way. No gimmicks, no overreaching, just clean cuts of fish, thoughtfully plated, and priced like they actually want you to come back. The sashimi (even the "small") punches above its weight, fresh, clean, no nonsense. You taste the ocean, not the freezer. That's already half the battle won. The sleeper hit here is the bento box. It's the kind of meal that reminds you value still exists, generous without being sloppy, filling without feeling like a compromise. The kind of plate that earns repeat business. Come in around 5:30 and it's still catching its breath. By 6, though, the place finds its pulse, busy, lively, the kind of energy you want in a neighborhood spot that's clearly starting to click. Service was kind, and quick, food came out decent too. The tempura shrimp and veggies was crisp and not too oily. The room itself? Polished. Modern. Spotless. Someone cares, and it shows. But like any place finding its stride, there are gaps. The men's restroom is a one-person situation, and if you've got a kid, you're out of luck, no changing table in the men's room, us millennial dads are not afraid of a poppie diaper. Not a dealbreaker, but a miss in a family-heavy area. Still, Toro Sushi doesn't try to be the loudest spot in the room, it just quietly does enough things right to make you want to return. And honestly, that's the kind of place that lasts.
