Ordered my favorite special Green bean w/chicken special. This special comes with a choice of sweet/sour or egg drop soup. The meal also comes with a small asian salad. There didn't seem to have as much sauce or it tasted watered down. The green beans were smaller in size this time, Lots of beans and chicken in my plate. Even when I ate the leftover soup and entree yesterday it was still tasted good. Our group of 5 with our 'special requests' was well attended by the server. Never left reviews before because I am easy to please, but for being the first time--the portions are ridiculous. Taste is okay but $19 walnut shrimp I expected more than what was given, probably one scoop of shrimp at most. The description also said a bed of broccoli, literally comes with four broccolis total. I went with the cashew chicken; the celery was crunchy, the sauce was shiny; could use a little more flavor over freshness in my opinion. Used to be the best Chinese food in town. The last time I went for lunch with a group, the food was too salty. A few nights ago my husband and I went in for dinner and the food was just warm. The only things that were hot were the appetizers and the saki. We also felt a little rushed. The main courses came before we finished the soup and appetizers. I have eaten here many times. Since becoming Vegan, it's difficult to eat at places that are not "totally vegan" due to cross contamination. The service is OK, the food is OK, I think that the lunch menu is where you get your bang for your buck. It's a little above the "order to go" Chinese places. My only complaint would be the cleanliness of the store. I think it could use some "spring cleaning ", with scrubbing of the floors, tables, chairs, and menus. Food looks good. Restaurant waitress was very nice, knew the menu. I wish the orange chicken was a little crispier. The fried rice had no veggies but did have egg. This dish was about $17. The one reason I wouldn't return is that when I asked for a paper bag to conceal the food to surprise my husband ( this was a gift purchase ) the manager ( an Asian young man ) told the waitress she needed to charge me. This was after I payed and was waiting for my food and about to leave. The very kind awesome waitress told the manager she would pay it from her check. The food was inedible I understand it's hard to get great Chinese food east of the Hudson but even by west coast standards this place was abdominal! I ordered Pork Chow Mein what I got was bean sprouts and tiny pieces of pork nothing else no snow peas no bamboo shouts it like the chef was clueless about the single easiest recipes in Asian cooking I also ordered Mooshu Pork the wraps were out a of a plastic bag and were mostly hard as a rock and once again their idea of this standard fare was unrecognizable. The Egg Foo young was a 3/4 inch thick tasteless pancake cut into quarters so it was dried out this abomination cost $61 after the 10.00 tip. If you don't know any better I guess you might be able to make an argument that what they served was food but if you do AVOID GOLDEN GINGER LIKE PLAGUE! read more

I have been wanting to come here for quite some time. When we arrived due to Covid19 the Restaurant is blocked off for indoor dining. They were allowing us to both call in orders as well as walk in ordering. I ordered the spicy garlic shrimp plate ($8.95) for my hubs and he selected an (just one lol) egg roll for his side option. This is supposed to come with fried rice. He was basically served buttered or fried rice literally with two pieces of egg, no veggies in it at all. Maybe they just make it that way? He stated that he would not order this again. I ordered the House Chow Fun ($11.20) that was absolutely amazing! I loved it very much. It is made with rice noodles, chicken, beef, shrimp, onions, and a delicious sauce. This was supposed to be for us to share, but I didn't. I also ordered #08 Sizzling Beef & Scallops Delight (for $15.55)(Slice of tender beef and scallops sauteed with broccoli. snow peas, shitake mushrooms, carrots and baby corn in brown sauce). This was good but I wouldn't order it again. This came with rice and a tangerine salad. Egg soup cold, egg roll greasy and barely warm, my shrimp in kung pow chicken delight barely warm, wonton chips stale, my peanuts in my meal stale, my wife found a hair in her meal and they came back and compared it to hers and said it was from her, we didn't ask for any thing for free, and didn't even want a new dish, not sure why they'd do this, but I will say this, we will never come back, and if you look at the reviews theres so many bad reviews, and they've never had bad reviews, that's why this must be under new owners or different management.
