After reading the reviews on Yelp. I stopped by and ordered the Lobster Dynamite and the sushi pop. The Lobster Dynamite was very good and the flavors that are in this roll works very well together. The sushi pop has great reviews and after I had it I feel the sushi pop is a good roll to order and enjoy yourself. The restaurant was clean and it has a good feeling to it. Had sushi pop a million times. I've done pick up, eaten in and gotten DoorDash and every single time it's perfect. The staff are on point. The sushi is fire. Highly highly recommend this sushi spot, you will come back again and again. read more

Food was good. Service was okay considering there was only one server for the entire place. We stopped by thinking there was an all you can eat menu because that's what we saw on the reviews but there isn't which was a little disappointing. Other than that everything else was ok. read more

My girlfriend and I have been here at least 4 times and every time we eat here the sushi is always fire. Their Euclid roll is our favorite, definitely recommended. Their lunch combo is a great deal ramen and a roll for $22-$28 depending on what roll you get. The service is always on point and the servers are always really nice. Jai served us today and everything was great as usual! read more

This place is amazing! The food was good and at a great value. The serving staff was very attentive and gave great recommendations. We never had to ask for extra napkins or water. They always came around and replenished what we needed. The food is very reasonably priced. For 2 people who order way too much food, we walked away paying less than $45 per person. Last few times me & my husband came here the waiter jst can't get it right but this last time I was really disappointed in the customer service. I ordered a rainbow roll and I always request to replace the tuna with Albacore bc I jst don't like tuna. Well my sushi roll had tuna on it no albacore so I told them and they said "well u said replace albacore with tuna"....umm no sir I think I know that I don't like tuna so u wrote it down incorrectly! He apologized for the waiter & I thought they were going to make me another one the correct way & I was waiting forever & I finally asked if they were making it & he said no I'm sorry & that we needed to pay for it. this place is SO BOMB. not only is the food reasonably priced and delicious, but they kept bringing us free food!!! the server brought us these crab fritter things compliments of the chef, and they were SOOOO GOOD. they had our mouths melting. after we finished our rolls, they even brought us free matcha ice cream for dessert. i was BEAMING. i was surprised it was so empty- to be fair, we went on a wednesday afternoon but regardless this place is a hidden gem. if you're in the area and you're looking for somewhere to eat, this should be your first pick. read more

Pros: sushi is good , got the sushi combo. Beer was cheap (1.99$ for 16 oz Sapporo, promotional) Service was nice , friendly and they have free edamame. Bathroom was clean and the atmosphere feels chill. Cons: few dollars expensive compare to sushi's nearby (not a big deal but might be turn off for others ) Now this is just my opinion by DONT GET THE RAMEN. It was my fault getting ramen at a sushi place . 1st rule of good ramen is get it on a ramen restaurant not sushi . This place is a Korean sushi place with Korean chef. The ramen has onions , carrots and cucumber, so I assume that's how Koreans make their soup stock . I ordered tonkatsu but the broth tasted like vegetable soup. The chasu was tough and the egg is hard boiled . I'm not a ramen connoisseur but I think I know how ramen eggs should look like but this place is not a ramen place. Completely my fault . Consistency is a reason why we go here every time we are craving sushi. Our favorite roll is the Rainbow Spider Roll. It consist of a rainbow roll but with soft shell crab... it's amazing. Our old go-to sushi spot didn't serve any alcohol... Which is why we started going here years ago. The service is top notch too. Never had any issues with the service and they randomly give us free appetizers/rolls that they are experimenting with. Always a nice surprise! Overall a great place to go to when you are in the Fullerton/Anaheim area. read more

Really awesome service! Super attentive and kind. I came in as a solo diner, and ordered the chirashi bowl as I thought it would be a good way to gauge the fish quality without breaking the bank. It was very tasty, with the seared albacore (I think) being my favorite part of the bowl. There was a white fish used that I wasn't a huge fan of, which is why I'm giving 4 instead of 5. The vibes as far as music and overall energy of the place was very light and positive too which made my experience that much better! I'm excited to bring my husband here!! read more

This place is low key but don't let the plaza fool you. This is a great sushi restaurant! The sushi has always been 10/10. We've tried May different rolls. Eating there, you're met with fast and friendly service. Also, complementary salted edamame. The food has always been on point. Even when we get take out. This restaurant punches higher than what we first expected. We keep coming back again and again for almost 3 years now. I highly recommend you try this place. read more

Our favorite local sushi spot! Service is great and the fish is fresh. I am super picky with my salmon nigiri and it is always fresh here. It's sad to consider that they're using their omakase option to lure customers in during the slow days of the week. This limited availability wasn't on their website hosted menu. I was very excited for this place at first but unfortunately I don't think I'll be back.

This place is super cute inside and the food was delicious. We loved how the setting was intimate and it even had a curtain for more privacy which made us feel like we were excluded from others and felt like we were completely alone on a date, which was extremely nice! Thong was friendly and gave excellent recommendations on food. We also had Elyse serve us with a smile and such a spectacular personality. We ended up here based on the mostly positive Yelp reviews we read. Initially we were seated at a table right near the sushi bar. One of the sushi chef's kids was standing on the sushi bar (not kidding), making tons of noise and throwing soy sauce bowls on the ground. I love kids and can exercise patience when dealing with them, but this was ridiculous. We changed tables twice until we were seated as far away from the sushi bar as possible. Even after it was made painfully obvious why we were moving tables, the sushi chef and his wife continued to allow the kid to make tons of noise and keep throwing things around. We ordered the $20 AYCE special, mostly because it made the most financial sense. I stayed pretty simple and ordered a variety of sushi and a seaweed salad. Everything was pretty yummy and fresh tasting. My boyfriend tried a bunch of the rolls and was pretty happy overall. The decor was kind of strange....each table had a giant balloon hanging from it which just ended up getting in the way. Food: 4 stars. Ambiance: Strange, not very inviting. Felt more like a quick serve place than a restaurant. Screaming child (of an employee) that no one cared enough to make stop...deal breaker. 0 stars. Price for AYCE: Pretty good deal. 4 stars. Overall, not very memorable (in a good way at least). Not the worst but definitely no where near the best. read more

First time here after reading all the positive reviews in yelp. Came in for the AYCE dinner and seated after a short 15 wait. Servers greeted my party and immediately offered a complimentary appetizer and all the goodies. Foods are very well prepared and love the presentation. I ordered mostly nigiri and the fish are fresh. Only issue is the rice to fish ratio is a little more towards the rice. 4 stars. They have a limit for sashimi offering. Only one per person for salmon, ahi tuna, yellowtail, seared albacore and seared tunas. A little dry on the albacore and tuna, but the no rice options are a huge plus. They also have halibut and large scallops for premium which is also included in the AYCE. Something to die for. 5 stars for that. Service wise is descent. My water cup was always topped off, and servers check us out occasionally, considering only 2 servers available for the floor the whole time. Another 5 star. They also let my party know since we're ordering a lot so expect a longer service time, which I understand and didn't bother me at all. Overall experience is superb and I appreciate their kindness giving us an extra mochi ice cream at the end. Thus a 5 stars review. read more

My friend and I were here on Saturday for sushi. As we sat down, friendly servers gave us soy beans and explained they have all you can eat sushi and regular menu. They have Sashimi, sushi, hand rolls as well as appetizers and non sushi menu. My friend ordered all you can eat and I ordered Rock N Roll, Sushi Pop Roll and some sushi. Service was quick and we got our foods really fast. 2 Sushi chefs and servers were professional and very friendly. My friend told me sushi was so fresh and rolls with nice decoration were amazing. Personally, I liked my Rock N Roll. I like the sauce, it tasted great, i don't know why two people are complaining about the sauce... I ordered few sushi, thy were fresh with reasonable amount of rice. At the end, they gave us small green tea ice cream for free!!!!! The price was good too. It was pretty cheap compared to other sushi restaurant nearby. I recommend this place, you won't regret. Don't even bother to read bad reviews. Just try their foods. you will be satisfied. 5-Star Review - Sushi Pop Fullerton Sushi Pop Fullerton continues to be one of our absolute favorite places to eat. The food is always incredible, the service is consistently welcoming, and the atmosphere feels like a true family dinner every time we walk through the door. We highly recommend the Caliente Roll and the Hotty Hotty Roll. They are both are packed with flavor and always perfectly prepared. Their ramen is also one of the best around! One thing that sets Sushi Pop apart is how kid-friendly and family-friendly they are. Our whole crew feels right at home here, and that's something you don't find everywhere. They also go above and beyond for first responders, police, fire, military, and law enforcement, and we appreciate that more than they know. On top of that, Sushi Pop even sponsored my son's school, which tells you everything about their commitment to the community. They're not just a restaurant, they're a place that truly cares about the people who walk in. Thank you, Sushi Pop, for all the great meals, great memories, and great service. This restaurant is always changing. It's a great location but unfortunately the food did not follow suit. The first thing you notice about this place is the 50% off everything sign. Or, you think that'd be the first thing you notice but somehow my wife and I both missed it entirely. So, you can imagine our surprise when we sat down at the bar and started looking over the menu. "$7 for 2 pieces of nigiri?! $10 for a hand roll?!? $6 FOR A COKE??!" We were both in growing disbelief as we went down the menu, but it wasn't until I hit the coke that I realized something was off. That's when I looked at the front window and made out a sign that read" 50% off..." and that's when it clicked. "Discount" aside, the food was just average and not worth going back for. The place was packed though. Judging from the outside, you'd think they have some amazing fish but for what it's worth, neither of us was wowed. The servers were SUPER friendly though, 5 stars easily. This is the only reason I feel bad giving an "OK" review. But just like their pricing model, I had to take 50% off. I was in the area for work and decided to pop into this spot for a quick bite. I ordered the sashimi salad, and at first, I was like, "$20 for a salad? Really?" But let me tell you--it was SO worth it. The amount of fish they give you is super generous, and it was incredibly fresh. Like, melt-in-your-mouth fresh. The flavors were on point, and it actually filled me up, which is saying a lot for a salad. Also, major props to the waiter! It was the lunchtime rush, and even though he had a few other tables, he was super attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. The restaurant itself felt really clean and welcoming, which is always a plus. Definitely planning to come back whenever I'm in the area again. Wow! Never seen a place so packed and yet so attentive! The servers were clearly running around but they seemed so energetic and happy to answer our questions, ( our 2nd eating sushi so we had a lot of questions). Our server recommended ordering a few rolls for ourselves since it would not be worth it to get the AYCE so we ended ordering Lobster Dynamite and the Alaskan roll. The Lobster Dynamite took a little tie to come out but considering how busy it was it was pretty quick! The roll was so nicely presented that I had to snap a quick pic before extinguishing the flame in the middle! LITERALLY FIRE! The Alaskan was really good too! Nice place! Not many clean all-you-can-eat places in the OC area to begin with especially one that has great food and etiquette service to match with it. Average ayce pricing for lunch and dinner. But above average quality of fish and freshness of ingredients, compared to that, the pricing is very affordable and quite cheap. I had a difficult time deciding which rolls to choose for each of my rounds since I wanted the best ones for my first time experience here. So our server (Sang, was his name!) helped so much with that, he was friendly and took his time to inform us in detail about the popularity and taste of some of the rolls. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and definitely will be back soon! read more

Sushi Pop is hands down one of the best sushi spots I've ever been to! The quality of the fish is outstanding--every bite is fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Their specialty rolls are creative and absolutely delicious, and the presentation is top-notch. The service here deserves a special mention. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made great recommendations and ensured our drinks were always topped up without being intrusive. Came here with my family for some early lunch. The place was packed and saw that everyone was super busy. which is a good sign cuz that means the business is good ! The servers did take a little of their time but i couldnt blame them. They were working their butts off. Sean made sure to answer all of our questions and this other server made sure to check up on us every time he passed by. The food was amazing and came out super fast despite it being busy ! Highly recommened the lobster dynamite becuase that rolls literally on fire ! Overall a very good experience and couldnt recommened this place more. I think coming on a weekday might be better if you want to beat the traffic. read more

I just dined at Sushi Pop, and wow! From the moment you walk in, the vibe was perfect-- with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and attentive without being intrusive, which added to the experience. Now, the sushi! Each roll was so fresh, beautifully plated, and absolutely delicious. I am sushi killer First time come here to eat sushi with my friends. When i enter the restaurant, we are meet to server. table server she was name of Judith. She was really good service for our table. I steel thanks too much. And About food, I also work at another sushi place so i know how good qualities they have. Great quality and delicious! They have also all you can eat lunch is 21.99 / dinner 26.99 per person. And even have individual menu. Anyway, The servers are wonderful. Judith has such great service, friendly also. I would strongly recommend people to come here if they really enjoy having sushi with their family and friends. I will definitely coming back soon. read more

I've been coming here with my friend lunch time. We keep coming back because the staff always makes it a comfortable experience and are always welcoming, especially to new visitors! The service here is absolutely great. The servers Jiyon and Eric always sweet and friendly too. really nice people! The sushi overall is great. Always fresh and really presentable. My favorite to get is the alaskan and the hawaiin king :) Weekends can be very busy and the wait can come to around 30 minutes or so but once you're seated, your food comes quick! Thanks sushi pop! they gives free green tea icecream too. it is delicious:) I love this place. i wanna come back as soon as possible. read more
