A solid all you can eat sushi spot in Chicago! We came here for dinner on a weekend night and found no issue getting a table. The place was busy, but not packed. Their menu was typical for a sushi spot - we ordered a lot, but the main issue we had was the length of time it took in between orders. Maybe intentional, but it was a good 30-40 minutes in between rounds despite it not being packed. I would understand if it were busy, but sadly it seemed like service was just inefficient. I would just order as much as you can in round 1 to ensure you get your money's worth! Besides that, presentation and quality were fine.

Now THIS is a premium AYCE spot in Chicago. With three tiers for AYCE menus, I always opt in for the second tier including sashimi which I highly recommend. The highest tier includes crab legs. Notably, all their fish tastes fresh. The speciality rolls are unique and have a great fish/rice ratio. Service is always great, but can get busy. Clean and aesthetically nice inside.

Umm... yes. AYCE sushi, appetizers AND crab legs. Omgoodness. So much yes. The interior... so well done. So pretty. So aesthetically pleasing. The service... really super sweet. The food... AhMazing. Sushi was fresh. Appetizers delicious. And the crab legs. So yum yum yum. They come hot to the table. Just salty yumminess. I love this place and cannot wait to go back. The bathrooms are decent and city street parking. IF you oark on Lawrence it's parking you pay for.

My friend took me here, I never had been to all you can eat (ACYE) sushi before. We went on a Friday night and luckily we had a reservation as it was packed! We were sat right away. The menu not only included sushi but appetizers, soup, and also dessert. My favorite appetizers that we tried were the chicken yakitori and the seaweed salad. We also ordered the baby octopus salad, I had never tried that before it was really flavorful. We ordered 5 rolls and 2 pieces of nigiri. If you don't finish your roll they charge you so we wanted to make sure we didn't order too much. The rolls were good but my favorite was the fire phoenix roll. I saw review that the fire dragon roll was really good but that was actually my least favorite. We also tried the surf and turf roll which was interesting as it was topped with beef, sunny roll which was my friends favorite and the spider-man roll which was wrapped in soy paper and had mango in it. For dessert we each had a piece of mochi and tempura Oreo. The Oreo and mochi were so good! I would definitely order both again. I would definitely come here again as the menu had a lot of options and the decorations inside were cute with the fake cherry blossom tree. I recommend making a reservation as there were a lot of people waiting that didn't have one. The only bummer was the service wasn't the best, we were waiting to pay our check once we were done and kept trying to call the server over but she didn't come over so we had to pay at the host stand at the front.

Food was great, service was wack This place truly has some potential but the slowness of their service brings it quite down. Their were tables available but we still have to wait to get seated till a table left I guess to space it out but even when ordering food it took awhile As a previous waitress, we usually get a section to tend to but in this case our waitress was just running all over the places. First round of crab legs were delish. Second was so salty. Third was not too bad Sushi taste & quality was good. We saw a party of 4 kids left because the wait was so long waiting for their food to come.

If you love crab and sashimi this the idea AYCE sushi restaurant for you as they offer it at the cost of a premium price for their premium seafood. My wife and I went for the lunch on a Wednesday and I was surprised with the amount of options that they had on the menu. Items ranging from the appetizers, sushi, and even ramen. We kept it simple and had the standard AYCE that doesn't include sashimi (only sliced sushi, no rice) or the crab legs. From ordering to waiting for the sushi took a bit of time so I'd recommend either ordering a fair amount in the beginning so you can get your fill or order as soon as your order arrives to optimize on the time. Paid street parking in front, patio along the side so possibly dog friendly during the warmer seasons (not confirmed),

Really wished I liked this sushi spot. Our waitress was extremely sweet and thoughtful, we absolutely loved her. Our waitress was kind enough to let us know our sushi would take approximately 30 minutes because the kitchen was busy and made sure we order some appetizers. The interior design is really cute, they did a great job. We were disappointed with the sushi out of all things. We ordered multiple signature rolls containing spicy tuna. The spicy tuna was lacking the spice component. The rolls were cut thickly which was difficult to eat and enjoy. If you order a roll that contains cream cheese, watch out; they put a lot which makes you feel heavy after eating.

I used to think all AYCE sushi places are the same. Sushi Loop provides that is not the case! Highly recommend upgrading to the sashimi as they provide generous portions of fish. Personally, I love rolls and they have an impressive array of options. The only thing I would skip is the Ramen. That was the only underwhelming thing, but we came for sushi, not Ramen. Service was super attentive and able to explain the concept of menu well. Seating inside has family friendly options for large groups and folks with little ones.

Everything I got is included in the $31.99 dinner meal. We had a party of 5 and after mandatory tip and tax it came out to around $42 per person. Ordered more than this but forgot to take pictures. The food is really good but theres a lot of fried stuff for appetizers. I wish they also had more non fried options, but overall great experience. Servers were really food about giving us the paper to order more after our batches of food finished coming out. It's a really cute place too, they have a bar area. They also had a fun challenge you can do to try to win a free meal or discount.

Came in on a Monday around noon expecting lunch prices but the server mentioned that it was going to be dinner pricing the whole day. I'm not sure if this was because it was considered a bank holiday. There are normally 3 different dinner pricing tiers. The normal dinner pricing includes appetizers, ramen, nigiri, hand-rolls. The premium tier includes sashimi and the 2nd premium included snow crab. The restaurant is spacious and currently decorated with fun and spooky Halloween decorations. There were two large nest seating areas for larger groups. We ordered some edamame, chicken yakitori and tempura veggies to start me. I shared a spicy miso ramen with my friend. The broth was flavorful and a little spicy. We also ordered the fire dragon roll, sunny roll and golden dragon roll along with some egg, scallop and new york strip nigiri. Unfortunately there was extended wait times between courses and we felt like we had to wait to flag down the server. We were also surprised to find that hot green tea was not included in the ayce price and it was just hot water plus a Bigelow green tea bag that we would have to steep. The desserts were fine. We tried macarons, strawberry and matcha ice cream mochi, tempura oreo and creme brulee. Unfortunately they did not have any hamachi kama.

I really wanted to love this place but left feeling like there are way better all you can eat sushi spots in the city. I can't put my finger on it but I just didn't feel like the fish was fresh. Nothing off about taste or texture. It was just dull and my salmon hand roll was limp and sad. They have a full bar with a great selection of martinis. I would come back just for the drinks. They were $8-10- never heard of in Chicago! They are also byob and charge $10 for each bottle. We did both martinis and wine- so you can imagine the night I had lol. The service was just ok. Took a few minutes to even be acknowledged and seated even though there were plenty of employees, and even if they were busy, not one said hello or addressed me. I dock major points when it comes to service. The food can be meh but when the service is, it's a huge turn off. The place is big and can accommodate large parties. I'd suggest hiring a host to welcome guests as they arrive.

We came here for their AYCE lunch on a Monday ($23.99) which I thought was a great value. Most of popular items were available execpt sashi which cost extra. They also have snow crab legs for extra $ as well. We ordered a bunch. The highlights included chicken skewers and dragon rolls. The fish mostly tasted fresh. Interior were new and modern. Would come back on weekdays if time permits.

Tried this place for lunch on opening weekend. We had the all you can eat special. It's a great deal and it covers not just the sushi but also appetizers, ramen, salads, and dessert. The interior is well done and colorful. The staff are friendly and service was good. We tried several of the sushi rolls and they were all delicious. Mango Tango is a must. We also tried a few appetizers and they were great. Will be back for certain

Even with a full house, he was friendly, attentive, and kept everything moving at a perfect pace. Drinks never ran low, and he checked in at just the right moments. The restroom was clean and well kept, which says a lot about how a restaurant is run. Paying is easy too: just scan the QR code at your table. Great food, great vibe, outstanding service. I got the eggplant tempura snack off the happy hour menu for $6 and this was SO good. And actually a little too much for one person! Portion was generous and this was delicious. Perfectly crispy, with super soft jammy eggplant, with mildly sweet, savory, herby, and fish saucy(?) flavors. I opted to get a yuzu margarita, not on the happy hour menu, but yuzu margarita. YUM! To round it out, I got the deluxe nigiri set and this was SO fabulous. Really delicious, high quality fish, with inventive garnishes, but while still letting the fish itself shine. There was a specialty scallop nigiri on the menu as well with nori-infused French butter. The sushi chef heard me talking about all the things I was trying to choose between and just upgraded the scallop nigiri that comes with the deluxe set to the specialty one, with no added charge (which was a surprise!). Super lovely folks working behind the bar. If I wasn't an out of towner, I could absolutely see myself becoming a regular here. Interior was vibey but in a relaxed, approachable way. Highly recommend checking this spot out!

It clearly is for all their locations. Unfortunately, here at Chinatown's location, when they attempted to scan the card, the staff said it does not work and only works at the Printer's Row location. I ended up calling the Printer's Row location and had the team talk to the manager at the Chinatown location, and the manager at the Chinatown location kept their stance that it does not work, stating Printer's Row location does not know why the gift card does not work at the Chinatown location, and will not make any exceptions to accepting the gift card. Thankfully at the Printer's Row location, they are stating it's due to their system being new as they are a new location, and reason why the gift card is not working at all the locations yet which they are now working on to fix so it does not happen to any other customer moving forward. I just wish the Chinatown location showed some compassion to address the issue and still accommodate the inconvenience instead of us having to go back to the Printer's Row location to use the gift card Price: Approximately $20, not including tip for 2 people. The sushi was better than I expected, and portions were larger than I expected as well! There was no menu provided, not even after the meal, so I'm not really sure what anything was, but each course was relatively "safe" - there were no crazy fish we'd never tried or weird concoctions. Limited drink menu, but my husband enjoyed the sake tasting and I stuck with wine. The chef also provided us some of his favorite liquor to do shots with the team lol. As they said: Never drive to Q Sushi! Only complaints were that we didn't get a menu to reference, and sitting at the bar, I watched them wipe the counter with the same rag over and over without cleaning it off or even shaking the bits of rice out of it. Gave me an ick! I'd like to come back here and try the regular menu as well, since the quality was good! Definitely a good place to go for a date night or with a fun-loving small group.

I would definitely recommend the crispy rice. The Hamachi roll and the spicy tuna roll. The shrimp fried rice was not as tasty as I would hoped, but they have big shrimps in there, which I loved. The shrimp temporary I could've lived without it. It's just fried shrimp very flaky the sauce it comes with is actually really delicious. We kept it for the remainder of the meal. Get the lychee martini it is divine and super smooth, not like a kick in your face! The ambience here is upscale of course you must dress to impress. They have window seating since the weather wasn't permitting for us to sit on the rooftop. Our waiter was really sweet. He was kind of busy so he was forgetful a little bit but super sweet. We then got the seared scallop, spicy bluefin tuna, and hidden dragon rolls. The seared scallop was my favorite as I like the torched flavor. The spicy bluefin tuna was also pretty solid, leveraging the crispy garlic and green onions for additional flavor. The hidden dragon is good especially for those that prefer a cooked sushi since it's eel plus spicy tempura, with more garlic. I am glad the garlic added to the flavor rather than overpowering the flavor. 3 rolls plus appetizer is sufficient for a nice meal for 2.
