The fish was fresh and cut with care, and the rice was seasoned just right. Even with a full house, he was friendly, attentive, and kept everything moving at a perfect pace. Drinks never ran low, and he checked in at just the right moments. The restroom was clean and well kept, which says a lot about how a restaurant is run. Paying is easy too: just scan the QR code at your table. Great food, great vibe, outstanding service. I got the eggplant tempura snack off the happy hour menu for $6 and this was SO good. And actually a little too much for one person! Portion was generous and this was delicious. Perfectly crispy, with super soft jammy eggplant, with mildly sweet, savory, herby, and fish saucy(?) flavors. I opted to get a yuzu margarita, not on the happy hour menu, but yuzu margarita. YUM! To round it out, I got the deluxe nigiri set and this was SO fabulous. Really delicious, high quality fish, with inventive garnishes, but while still letting the fish itself shine. There was a specialty scallop nigiri on the menu as well with nori-infused French butter. The sushi chef heard me talking about all the things I was trying to choose between and just upgraded the scallop nigiri that comes with the deluxe set to the specialty one, with no added charge (which was a surprise!). Super lovely folks working behind the bar. If I wasn't an out of towner, I could absolutely see myself becoming a regular here. Interior was vibey but in a relaxed, approachable way. Highly recommend checking this spot out!

I ended up calling the Printer's Row location and had the team talk to the manager at the Chinatown location, and the manager at the Chinatown location kept their stance that it does not work, stating Printer's Row location does not know why the gift card does not work at the Chinatown location, and will not make any exceptions to accepting the gift card. Thankfully at the Printer's Row location, they are stating it's due to their system being new as they are a new location, and reason why the gift card is not working at all the locations yet which they are now working on to fix so it does not happen to any other customer moving forward. The sushi was better than I expected, and portions were larger than I expected as well! There was no menu provided, not even after the meal, so I'm not really sure what anything was, but each course was relatively "safe" - there were no crazy fish we'd never tried or weird concoctions. Limited drink menu, but my husband enjoyed the sake tasting and I stuck with wine. The chef also provided us some of his favorite liquor to do shots with the team lol. As they said: Never drive to Q Sushi! Only complaints were that we didn't get a menu to reference, and sitting at the bar, I watched them wipe the counter with the same rag over and over without cleaning it off or even shaking the bits of rice out of it. We then got the seared scallop, spicy bluefin tuna, and hidden dragon rolls. The seared scallop was my favorite as I like the torched flavor. The spicy bluefin tuna was also pretty solid, leveraging the crispy garlic and green onions for additional flavor. The hidden dragon is good especially for those that prefer a cooked sushi since it's eel plus spicy tempura, with more garlic. I am glad the garlic added to the flavor rather than overpowering the flavor. 3 rolls plus appetizer is sufficient for a nice meal for 2. 5 stars - the boat said it all before i even took a bite i genuinely was not prepared for this. you ever sit down at a restaurant and then the food comes out and you just kind of stare at it for a second because you don't know where to start? yeah that was me. they brought out this massive wooden sushi boat and it was LOADED -- we're talking rows of sashimi (salmon, tuna, yellowtail all perfectly sliced), nigiri lined up clean, and then a whole section of specialty rolls stacked next to each other. dragon rolls, something with spicy mayo drizzled on top, a crunchy roll with panko, avocado rolls -- like it just kept going. the presentation alone was worth it. but here's the thing -- it wasn't just a pretty boat. the fish was actually fresh and good quality. the sashimi was buttery, the nigiri rice was seasoned right, and the specialty rolls had real flavor, not just sauce slapped on top to hide mediocre fish. every piece i grabbed i was actually excited about which is not always the case at sushi spots. and this was ALL YOU CAN EAT. like i need people to understand that. the value here is actually insane. for what you're paying you genuinely cannot beat it. i've paid way more at sushi places and left feeling like i got half of what i got here. the service was really attentive too -- our server was on top of everything, super friendly, kept checking in without being annoying about it. the whole vibe of the place was clean and cute, ivy on the walls, little floral decorations on the table, marble white tables. it felt like a nice night out without being pretentious or overpriced. honestly one of the best sushi experiences i've had in a while. if you're looking for AYCE sushi that actually delivers on quality AND quantity this is the spot. we'll definitely be back. read more
