Ok I see why this place is so highly rated. This has become my new sushi spot. This sushi is so fresh and delicious. You can't get better in Long Beach. We got our order to go and they packaged it perfectly so the flavors didn't mix all over each other. We LOVED the nigiri. Super fresh fish. Great quality. The cut rolls were also delicious. Not a crazy amount of sauce or anything so we could enjoy all the flavors. I absolutely loved their spicy crispy tuna rice (which is not spicy at all). The shumai were the only thing that I thought could have had more flavor, but still very solid option. And of course we got the baked salmon roll which was very good if you like baked sushi. We will definitely be coming back here anytime we want sushi. The inside of the restaurant was well done, it's a nice casual spot on 2nd street so keep that in mind for parking. But it's worth it.
Ordered takeout & it was prepared quickly and it packaged nicely! Everything we ordered was amazing. Fresh and great portions. Our favorites were the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, salmon sashimi and Garlic chili roll.
An immediate go to sushi joint! Tell me what you don't like about this place... I'll wait. Friendly service, tempura that came out piping hot just seconds from the cooking, delicious and succulent fish, and flavorful tastes all around. As a visitor to the area every so often, I'm delighted to find this place and look forward to returning!
SO GOOD!! We stumbled upon this place and were initially attracted to the big fish inside with the many menus available for viewing on the windows. We were so happy to walk in and eat the best sushi. We ordered the seared yellowtail TWICE! It was so delicious. The garlic chili roll was yummy yet the Long Beach roll was even better. We even tried the green mussels and it was BOMB! Service was so welcoming and kind it made us wanna go back whenever we are in the area! Go try it!!!

We were on our way to Saint & Second and as we were driving down Second St we seen @Sushi. We immediately decided we wanted sushi instead. We were all happy with this choice. This place has extremely fresh and tasty appetizers and sushi rolls. We're all definitely coming back. They have mostly inside seating but do have a small little patio. Unsure if people actually eat out there. They have a tv which was nice because we were able to catch the end of the Rams/Bears game last night. Very clean. Great Wall decor. Bathroom was clean. The service was top notch. Very attentive and friendly. For starters we ordered Spicy Garlic Edamame, Garlic Salmon Chili, Spicy Tuna Rice Crispy, and the Shumai. Everything was delicious. They were all 10/10, but that Garlic Salmon Chili was our favorite. The 3 rolls I ordered and enjoyed eating were the Spring Roll, Cucumber Special Roll and the 911 Roll. Both were a 10/10. I would definitely order these again. Out of all the Rolls ordered the fan favorite was the Spring Roll with that amazing sauce. Dynamite. Until next time.
This is one of the best sushi spots in Belmont Shore! I've been here several times and the food is just amazing each time I go. The service is incredible, and if there's a wait they always get you in very quickly, and the charming, energetic owner always greets you and makes sure you are taken care of. There is street metered parking, or you can try to find a spot in the busy neighborhood. The ambiance inside is very quaint, upscale, and charming. Although it's a small spot it's adorable inside and seats plenty of guests. I'm a huge fan of the yellowtail sashimi and I have never gone wrong with ANY of the specialty rolls here-they are all delicious and 5/5!! I love the rainbow roll as well as some of their own special rolls. The real star is not on the menu, but please listen when I tell you to order the pickled wasabi and it will LEVEL UP your sushi experience!!! I also like to enjoy hot saki here with a cold beer and the overall experience is always delightful. Check out this hidden gem for a new sushi experience and you'll be thrilled!
This place was amazing! I noticed that they had 5 stars so I had to try it out myself, and might I say, well deserved! The service was great. The waitress checked on us several times and was very sweet. I came on a Saturday evening and it wasn't crowded at all. The food came out surprisingly fast. I absolutely loved the presentation of everything, especially the baked salmon roll. The food was really good and fresh as well. Definitely the best baked salmon roll I've ever had! Their scallop roll was good. Their garlic edamame and crab & cucumber salad were so delicious. Their sauces are in house made. There is about 4 bar seats outside. There is also more seating available indoor as well, which is where I sat. Very small, intimate place. I loved everything about my experience and would definitely return. There is so many food options to choose from. Thank you!
This was by far the best baked salmon roll I have ever had! I would go back just for that again. The salmon had a garlic flavor to it which made it so much better than the usual. Ordered a few other rolls as well that I enjoyed. Service was attentive.
This was my first time here and all I can say is wow. The sushi is very fresh, service is excellent, everyone is so friendly. The restaurant is nice and cozy with a lot of space between tables. Restaurant is very clean and all the employees were helping each other to cater to their guests. The food and service is what will keep me coming back.
Best sushi in long beach! I've been here twice and there's always been little to no wait given that it's a pretty small restaurant. It's a wonderful restaurant for a special occasion or night out on Belmont. We ordered the blue fin tuna, salmon tataki, hot day roll, and Long Beach roll. The blue fin tuna was so fresh with the fresh wasabi. The salmon tataki was my second favorite with the truffle oil that cuts through the classic lemon salmon combo.

10/10. The salmon tataki roll has a slight truffle taste that is so delicious and the eel hand roll was cooked to perfection. The eel was tender, carmelized, smokey, and overall super balanced. The qualify of the fish was amazing and worth the money. The owner was super sweet snd definitely tried to connect with his customers. They close at 9 yet they still served us till 9:15 with the same amazing service, no rushing or anything. Also, the location of the restaurant is perfect to get a sweet treat afterwards or even shop! The place includes a bar and slightly moodly lighting, it is a little small but the owner makes sure you dont wait too long to get in and served so that is always appreciated! Highly recommend if you can!

Finally found my sushi spot to go to in Long Beach! Nice little sushi spot with quick service. Everything was delicious and I couldn't be happier. They even have soju here - which makes sense since the owner is Korean and the sushi chefs were Korean too. I especially loved my oysters shooter. It wasn't too salty/strong tasting like some spots make it and was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the chirashi bowl so you can get a little bit of everything and the tuna cracker to share. I cannot wait to come back to eat some more sushi. read more

Doesn't look like much while walking by but was really craving sushi that night. I came across @sushi and decided to try it. The workers were all really friendly and quick. This is my new favorite sushi place! Too bad it is an hour away, but I guess I will need to visit Long Beach more often. We got lucky and got a table for 6. The food was served quickly and was delicious as well as plated beautifully. I don't know what the thing was that was served on fire, but it was awesome! I got to try a lot of new things I don't usually find at my sushi place. Especially loved the deep fried spicy tuna on the deep fried rice! Wow! Also loved the decor. WOW... just simply WOW!! My fiancé and I came here for dinner and let me tell you I was blown away of how good it is. We came in and quickly greeted and we bellied up at the sushi bar. It was full. We where greeted ... quickly asked for drinks which we got a Sapporo on draft. We informed the waitress that we where first timers and she took the time to explain the menu and not only that she asked us what fish we like and what we didn't like and quickly gave suggestions that where divine!! I'm glad we took her advice. Just watching the chef make the rolls with such care and presssicion was fun. He was making sure every roll had the best slice of fish or avocado, and it was very pleasing to watch. We different dishes with so many flavors it was divine I will be back!!! Decided to try this place as it has outside seating. It was about 6pm and we were seated within 5min. Friendly staff, great food. We got all nigiri and sashimi. You MUST try the Black Snapper! They can fry the body and head for you after you eat the sashimi. Try it! We also got the fatty hamachi, seared salmon sashimi. Alll really good. But I'd just go with the regular salmon sashimi next time. We also ordered the eel nigiri and regular hamachi nigiri. I'm going to pass on the hamachi nigiri. The cut wasn't that great. Looked old. Oh and BEST part- they offer FRESH GRATED WASABI. if you've never had fresh wasabi, you're missing the fuck out. You'll never want to go back to wasabi paste ever. I love me a restaurant that offers fresh wasabi. The reason I took off a star? We waited almost 30 minutes for our food. For sashimi and nigiri. The table next to us orders the same time and already had two rolls served to them while we waited. At the end of the day, the food was delicious, presentation was amazing and staff was nice. Craved for a sushi date on a warm night.. We didn't expect how good it was since we haven't been to a sushi restaurant in the a long time. The In & Out Roll is really new and different for us. Some may not like it, but we loved it. On top of the food is the business owner's attention to detail and fantastic service! Mr. Song was very attentive and hands-on. Tried this relatively new sushi spot on my street for the first time night. The service was great, presentation beautiful, and the sushi fresh and delicious! We started out with some garlic edamame, and it was very tasty and not too strong on the garlic which was nice. We also both ordered the tiger roll for a special roll and a basic salmon roll. The salmon was definitely my favorite. The salmon was so fresh and they also put a generous amount in them. The tiger roll was good, but probably not one of my favorites, but I think I should have just picked a more interesting special roll. The presentation was so nice! I loved the round wooden serving platter and all the extra details with the placement and the flower. The little things count! Also our service was very fast and very friendly as well. The place itself is also very nicely decorated and clean inside. I'll definitely be back as I'm sure it will be one of my staple sushi spots on my street now. read more

FRESH!!!! This word covers both the fish, wait staff and the look of this "new" (less then a year restaurant) The fish used in the sushi was awesome! It was tasty buttery deliciousness.not only was everything delicious, the chef was generous with the fish and also the size of the rolls. They were double what I would expect from most sushi restaurants... but don't worry I still ate every last piece :) The presentation was on point. Beautiful is the only way to put. They also added some garnishes that I hadn't seen before. The little orange balls are actually boba giving a nice sweet relief from my Spicy tuna roll! The restaurant itself was spotless and tastefully decorated to match the food. Not like some sushi places that are dark and dingy. The staff there were awesome and friendly! I could see that if this place gets busy you are going to want reservations as it is small. While this is not an all you can eat establishment, you will be full... for a reasonable price for the quality you get. I'll take one piece of delicious fresh fish over all you can eat anyday!
