Tuna Kama - it's bigger than it looks!

Still my favorite sushi spot! They will accommodate custom orders and the fish is super fresh. Highly recommended!

Came in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon after the lunch rush and restaurant was literally empty. What a great feeling. The service was friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Nice japanese beer and wine selection.

First time at this local spot and I loved it! The bento lunch special is unbeatable for $17. The fish tasted fresh and you could taste the natural flavors. Staff was attentive and very friendly. We were in and out within 40 minutes. It is the perfect spot for a casual meal.

This restaurant is clean and staff is very friendly. Sushi itself was just okay. Not a lot of rolls and nigiri selections are few. Prices are very decent.

This place is a 10/10 every time, regardless if it's lunch or dinner, weekday or weekend. The food is fantastic, so flavorful and fresh. The staff is so sweet and accommodating, Hiromi is the sweetest and super funny. This a place is so quaint and friendly.

Sushi Ko has been a solid sushi joint for many years with many loyal followers. This past Saturday we decided to have dinner there and thankfully it has not lost its touch. The interior of the restaurant has been updated with a cool area for lounging and the traditional sushi bar in the middle. We decided to order our usual favorites such as California Roll with masago, rainbow roll, tuna (Teka) roll, and a plate full of various nigiri (sliced fish on top of rice). All the sushi were very fresh and came to our table quickly. Both the owner and the waitress were very friendly and welcoming. For dessert we ordered the brownie tempura with ice cream, amazing an excellent way to end dinner. In Miami everyone has there "to go sushi restaurant" I think we going to join the Sushi Ko wagon.

Tucked in a strip mall with other dining options. Stumbled upon this spot on a Monday evening in our route home. The ambiance is your traditional zen like vibes, nice lanterns, dim lighting. Nice ambiance and waitress was very accommodating and patient with all our questions and modifications to our order. The only thing is that's it's Cold inside so bring a jacket. The tuna tataki is seared so slightly cooked, it was delicious. Seaweed salad was typical and on the small side. The ceviche roll made the home run for me! Lots of fresh fish topped on the roll with hits of citrus and ponzu sauce. I'm a fan! We will come back soon and the prices and pretty standard.

I came here with a party of 6 at about 1 PM on a Sunday. We chose this restaurant because the dim sum restaurant in the same strip mall that we had originally planned on going to was absolutely packed, and we didn't have time to wait to be seated. When we entered, it was relatively empty - only 2 other parties were dining in the restaurant. We didn't initially see anyone to seat us, but then someone came from the back, and another man came from the left side of the restaurant and told us where to sit. The first thing I should mention about this restaurant is that service was phenomenal. We were attended to by a man and a woman. The man embodied all of the qualities that are hospitality in my definition. He was friendly, warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. I think he must have been an owner or manager. Speed of service was perfect, maybe even more than perfect considering the size of our party. The man attending to us brought us 6 fried gyozas on the house. They were good. I ordered the chicken katsu dinner (as did my boyfriend), which comes with rice, salad with ginger dressing, and miso soup for $21. I felt that the price was very reasonable and I left quite full. The portions were generous. The soup was good, the salad was good, and the chicken katsu was pretty good. Someone in my party got a salad with tofu in it and she felt like it didn't have enough tofu. The man attending to our table (well, the entire restaurant) offered to box the rest of my food up for me, which was another reason I felt how hospitable he was. I tend to see that as something they only do for you at nice restaurants. The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms. The area of the restaurant we sat in felt a bit dim, but I wasn't really bothered by it. Overall, it was a surprisingly good experience. I wasn't blown away by the food, but I was certainly satisfied. It was solid. I couldn't think of anything in terms of the food or service to possibly complain about. When we left, the restaurant was getting busy. I hope they stay busy, because they deserve it!

Good people and good service. I come Here often when I want no hassle sushi dinners that hit the spot. Sometimes you'll find very good toro here and the uzukuri can be delightful.

Sushi KO dinner - servers were very busy, trying hard to keep up but the wait was reasonable and the Food was good, we got the Chicken Katsu and the Yaki Soba with shrimp. COVID measures are being taken and there is hand sanitizer on each table, which is awesome!

Yesterday evening, I went here with a group of 10 good friends after swimming at the incredible Venetian pool in the afternoon. Our reservation was for 5:30 pm and we were able to be seated at 5:00 pm, which is great! The first thing I did before I decided what to order was look at the fish counter to see if the fish was freshly prepared and how it was stored. I took two pictures of the sushi counter that will be uploaded here. I decided to Facebook message my father his advice but he didn't respond in time. So I decided to order dishes that did not have fish or shellfish in them to stay safe. I ordered steamed gyoza , agadashi tofu appetizer, and tonkatsudonbae for dinner. My tonkatsudonbae came with miso soup . The gyoza was juicy and decadent. The miso soup was perfectly flavored and had the right amount of soy flavor. The agadashi tofu tasted soft and melts in your mouth incredibly- soft silken tofu slightly fried with light brown sauce that tasted excellent with the the tonkatsu dipped in it also. The tonkatsudonbae came with black and red flakes over a bowl of rice. The pork was a bit dry to be honest - I had to dip it in a sauce. The rice was cooked very soft which I was fine with. The portion of the tonkatsudonbae was huge and without the appetizers is enough for dinner alone. The service was excellent. The waiter was very sweet and complimented my shirt which was a demon slayer anime shirt. Overall this is a very good Japanese American diaspora restaurant.

Very warm, serene vibe with neutral tones. Definitely the kind of place you'd come to unwind and just enjoy good sushi without any chaos. Parking: Street parking is available, but it is paid, so keep that in mind before pulling up. The servers were very helpful and kind overall. My only complaint is that food came out a bit slow, especially considering it wasn't very busy at the time. Like serve me all my orders all at once pleaseeeeee so I can indulge lol What I Had: _________________ Sashimi Assortment - 10/10 Freaking delicious. Light, decadent, and incredibly fresh. Each piece tasted clean and high-quality, the kind of sashimi that melts the second it hits your mouth. They did their thing! Kanpachi Sashimi - 10/10 So good. Soft, delicate, and perfectly fresh. Every bite was balanced and flavorful without being heavy at all. Nigiri - White Fish Tasting - 11/10 Hands down my favorite part of my experience. I ordered multiple rounds (they come two per order), including branzino and snapper. The branzino was unreal. I wanted only branzino... that is how marvelous it was. Topped with this umami crunch that added so much texture and flavor. It was literally mouthwatering, like a burst of flavor in every bite. I honestly could've kept ordering this all night. Nigiri - Bluefin Tuna Tasting - 5/10 This one just wasn't for me. It wasn't fishy, but the texture was very slimy and didn't sit well in my mouth. It didn't swallow smoothly and just wasn't appetizing to me personally. Definitely a pass. Blue Crab Hand Roll - 6.5/10 I know this is a fan favorite, but it was just okay for me. Not bad at all, just didn't wow me compared to everything else I had. For $6, it's fine, but I wouldn't rush to reorder it. Customer Service: 8.5/10 Friendly and helpful, just slightly slow. Overall Experience: 9/10 Will I Be Back? Yes, absolutely. This establishment has been TAMIED™

Parking is mostly limited street parking though, so plan ahead. This spot is more about curated tastings, sashimi, nigiri, and handrolls rather than specialty rolls, so don't expect a huge roll menu. We ordered the sashimi assortment, white fish tasting, seared salmon, bluefin tuna tasting, unagi foie gras, and a few handrolls including blue crab and negi toro. Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful, especially the bluefin and unagi foie gras. Portions are on the lighter side though, so we left satisfied but not totally full. Cedrick was awesome and really made the experience better. He knew the menu inside and out and explained everything perfectly. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Wynwood and want quality sushi without the overly trendy vibe.

We got there a bit before our reservation time, and they let us sit in the smaller dining area as we waited for our spots to open up. We all did the $200 tasting and we were all pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the bites. It's 8 courses that range from a nigiri sampler, small bites, and dessert. Most memorable were the clam broth, beef loin and carrots, and the fatty tuna nigiri with caviar on top. The fatty tuna nigiri with caviar was the main reason I wanted the tasting! There is an à la carte menu too, but it was a lot easier just letting the chefs portion out our meal. Would definitely check them out and enjoy a superb evening out!

You can access the mall area from the left of the hotel lobby. What impressed me most was the presentation of all the dishes. They really took great care to make everything look beautiful. All the plates and dishes were just so stunning. The other thing that really stood out was the service. They were so friendly and helpful. I truly appreciate when servers know their menu well and are able to make suggestions. I can't remember my server's name, but she was just top-notch. We ordered: - Miso soup, (served in a charming, Japanese chawan mushi cup) the flavor was really good and strong. (I hate it when it's weak) - Spicy dumplings. They tasted homemade. Yummy - Shrimp shu mai, good, tasted as it should - Tanaka roll, with extra crispies on top, (I was not a fan because I did not expect it to be deep-fried. if it had not been deep-fried, I would've liked it.) - Peking duck served in an impressive three tier tower that looks like a round Chinese Temple. - Pork Belly Bao bun, this was also a miss for me because I expected it to taste like barbecue, but it was just really salty like they used a lot of brown salty sauce. All in all, I really enjoyed this restaurant, even though I didn't like those two items. Bec But, because of the excellent service, the atmosphere and the beautiful way they served the food, I decided to leave them a five star review. Those dishes weren't bad they just weren't what I expected. We don't live in the area so if we were to stay in this hotel again, we would definitely dine here again. It may not have the best ambiance or the nicest restaurant decor, but the menu does not disappoint. I particularly like eel, so I recommend the unagi. I also loved the hama chili, which is one of their signature dishes, the wagyu dingo, the shime saba (mackerel), the kimono even though it's a very small bite, and the kinoko nabe, which is not pictured but is truly a must. I'm not sure what they add to it, but it is delicious. If you have room for dessert, the fried milk is interesting because it has several different flavors and textures you can combine. The one dish I would not necessarily recommend is the madai crudo, which needed a little more flavor in my opinion. Service is good both at the tables and in the bar area.

It's funny, when I was looking at the happy hour menu I was thinking about having the crabcake curry, even though I ate it all, it was my least favorite out of the nine courses. It was perfectly cooked on the outside. Nice and crispy. The curry taste was very delightful, but the inside of the crabcake was crazy mushy. Just not what I expected. We normally check the Michelin Guide first but there's none for Miami so we decided to browse through Tock for fun. This was how we stumbled upon Sushi Bar and we are so glad we did! The price point of $185 per seating is super worth it. You get a lot of fish and they are very creative with each nigiri. Their spin on it shows their creative side (with Miami flavors) but is not super over the top and sauce does not drown out the freshness of the fish. Something that stood out to me was how they shaved frozen monkfish liver as a topping. I wanna go back just for that!! They also had some pieces where they smoked the fish. Besides the food, I thought it was very creative how they welcomed guests with a welcome drink at the hotel bar. This was so unique! We finished ours early, and had some of their other drinks - they were all very good! Once they're ready, a server came to get us from the hotel bar and led us through an alleyway to a separate building which was where the actual omakase was taking place. The atmosphere was dark and gave off speakeasy vibes, which I thought was different to other omakase places. Bar is spacious enough to still have private conversations. We did the beverage pairing and we really appreciated the sommelier's knowledge. Overall, we would want to come back again for another tasting experience!!
