    It's fan-tastic!
    Raul M.

As my local sushi place, they check all the boxes. The sushi is great, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is always friendly. The menu is extensive with dining options for those non-sushi eaters. The Japanese and Korean food is on point and fills your appetite. I strongly recommend coming before 8pm as the restaurant tends to fill up on Friday nights.

Sakura is a great option when looking for a Japanese restaurant. The menu has lots of options for everyone. Nigiri, specialty rolls, regular rolls and even noodles and ramen. Everything was super fresh and portions are big. Also they have Like half portions so you can try more things in one seating. We had the gym roll which was very tasty, a riceless roll which was very good and of course a lot of Nigiri. Also wanted to try the octopus sunomono to start and again... it was fresh and perfect. If I had to say a bad thing it would be that some of the octopus pieces were to big. (Not exactly a bad thing) but difficult to eat. Service was impeccable, our waiter Gabo was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend coming here!

Love the sushi and prices here. Service is good too. They have Thai and Korean options too. They have amazing spicy edamame. The fried bagel, spicy tuna and Kendall rolls are my favorites.

If you want to enjoy some delicious hearty sushi rolls definitely come to this Spot in the heart of West Miami on 57 ave. I have been coming here for years , since it always so fresh. Today we ordered the Madonna roll since its one of my favorites ! Along with a Thai Tea ! Come check it out

Hidden gem in between west Miami and coral gables! I always come here for pad Thai - it's packed with so much flavor with the perfect balance of peanuts, fish sauce, and oyster sauce. Additionally, their miso soup is one of the best I've had!

What a time for restaurants... not! I was really feeling sushi the other night and after a friend recommended Sakura, I decided to order take-out. Warning: I was super hungry at the time of this order so don't judge me on the amount of food I consumed! :) The ginger dressing that is on the side salad is something I've never had at a Japanese restaurant before. It has a garlic taste to it and I absolutely loved it! The I got two pieces of the steamed shrimp shumai, which were really good and came with a tangy ponzu sauce. I also ordered three roles: kappa, salmon crunch, and minion. The kappa is just cucumber but really great; the minion roll was delicious but it comes with jalapeños and a jalapeño soy sauce (kinda spicy!); and lastly, the salmon crunch roll was to die for as it was huge, full of flavor, and topped with crunch and eel sauce. The restaurant was eerily quiet but everyone was busy putting together orders. The ladies behind the counter were friendly and taking sanitary precautions. Great place to pick up lunch (apparently they have an excellent lunch option) or dinner!

Wow. Just WOW. Probably one of thee best sushi experiences I've ever had. Although they are a really tasty wonton Soup away from perfection, that will not stop me from coming back here. Let me get this out of the way. You NEED, to get the Buffalo Shrimp Roll & the Volcano Roll. Me and my friend Mike were just flabbergasted when we tasted the Buffalo Shrimp Roll. I mean, it's unreal. Do yourself a favor and just unload your wallet at this place!!!

Don't remember the name of this roll, but it was terrible. Like $20 after tip for this crap?!
    Mario R.

I've visited 3 times and really I'm not going to bother going again. I haven't been impressed by anything and it's grossly overpriced. "Lunch specials" that start at $20? You're in a run down building, not south beach. Matsuri down the street has lunch specials for under $10 and their fish quality is one of the best in Miami! I've tried the salmon carpaccio(nothing special), some other app that isn't worth remembering, and a roll that was basically a ton of rice with a tiny piece of fish in the middle(pic attached). Just terrible. Maybe their cooked items are good, but the sushi is crappy and overpriced.

Portions are big. Food is delicious. Menu is so large hard to pick. Donut bites are sooo good come out nice and hot. Pricing is reasonable for the portion.

Madonna roll! It tastes as delicious as it looks!

This place is a sushi gem. Small quaint place where they focus on quality and give you lots of quantity. No other sushi place has rolls like these. You will leave full on fish not rice!

FRESH, FRESH, FRESH and exquisite sushi! Made with incredibly fresh ingredients and with careful attention to detail. Super friendly staff, impeccably clean environment and always a warm welcome. Love this place! Have gone several times and has become our local go to, so sorry it took me so long to post my review.

This spot is located in an unassuming shopping center where a Nicklaus building is, which is perfect for when you're in the mood to keep a low profile. It's a small, intimate restaurant with counter top seating and a few tables. From the moment we walked in, the folks chopped it up with us and made jokes, which is great because it broke the ice in a way that felt like you were amongst friends. Excellent service all around. We sat at one of the tables as we intended to do a lot of talking and didn't want to be noisy at the counter. We decided to take the recommendation of the staff and did the omakase express option and a sake sampler pairing with three different kinds. No notes here because everything was great, there were several "MMMM!" moments (wish I remembered what each bite was!) and the first sake we got (pictured) was fantastic. Would definitely buy it to have at home. Big shout out to Allie, who covered our table on her first day, was very cool and definitely helped steer the dinner in the right direction. If you're in the Doral area and in the mood for some quality Japanese, definitely stop by here!

The spicy tuna roll, one of our always staples, was just rice and tuna, no spicy mayo. Total disappointment. Waste of time, energy and money. Each piece tasted clean and high-quality, the kind of sashimi that melts the second it hits your mouth. They did their thing! Kanpachi Sashimi - 10/10 So good. Soft, delicate, and perfectly fresh. Every bite was balanced and flavorful without being heavy at all. Nigiri - White Fish Tasting - 11/10 Hands down my favorite part of my experience. I ordered multiple rounds (they come two per order), including branzino and snapper. The branzino was unreal. I wanted only branzino... that is how marvelous it was. Topped with this umami crunch that added so much texture and flavor. It was literally mouthwatering, like a burst of flavor in every bite. I honestly could've kept ordering this all night. Nigiri - Bluefin Tuna Tasting - 5/10 This one just wasn't for me. It wasn't fishy, but the texture was very slimy and didn't sit well in my mouth. It didn't swallow smoothly and just wasn't appetizing to me personally. Definitely a pass. Blue Crab Hand Roll - 6.5/10 I know this is a fan favorite, but it was just okay for me. The price point of $185 per seating is super worth it. You get a lot of fish and they are very creative with each nigiri. Their spin on it shows their creative side (with Miami flavors) but is not super over the top and sauce does not drown out the freshness of the fish. Something that stood out to me was how they shaved frozen monkfish liver as a topping. I wanna go back just for that!! They also had some pieces where they smoked the fish. Besides the food, I thought it was very creative how they welcomed guests with a welcome drink at the hotel bar. This was so unique! We finished ours early, and had some of their other drinks - they were all very good! Once they're ready, a server came to get us from the hotel bar and led us through an alleyway to a separate building which was where the actual omakase was taking place. The atmosphere was dark and gave off speakeasy vibes, which I thought was different to other omakase places. Bar is spacious enough to still have private conversations. We did the beverage pairing and we really appreciated the sommelier's knowledge. Overall, we would want to come back again for another tasting experience!!
