How can you not like this place?? AYCE omakase and drinks?? Everything was so good, its not the lame options either. You start out with 14 piece omakase and then two rounds of unlimited sushi (you have to tell them how many extra pieces you want and they charge for leftovers). You get to choose between eel, lean tuna, fatty tuna and scallop. I'm not usually a fan of scallop but that was probably my favorite of the night. Also I was a little surprised they seared the fatty tuna, there were a couple people who asked for it not to be seared which I didn't know was an option. I think I would've preferred that too. Each round I did 8-10 pieces. But my brother did around 20 Each round LOL I think the restaurant lost money cause of him. All of our neighbors were impressed and humored by it. Overall this is the best value omakase if you're trying to grub and I can't believe its in williamsburg!

So excited about Sushi Hayashi's second location in Williamsburg! The great part about Williamsburg is that there's so many bars and spots to hang out at afterwards when you've ate and drank to your heart's content here. For $98, you get a 13 course omakase plus unlimited selected nigiris and sake/beer. It's truly such a great deal and everything is top tier delicious. Make sure you're on time for your reservation though since they serve the courses one by one. For drinks, they offered a dry and sweet sake. Both were delicious, but great to start with a dry and end on a sweeter note. Each nigiri was beautifully done and the pieces were a nice bite size with not too much rice either. For the unlimited nigiri, you get two rounds of scallops, lean tuna, fatty tuna, and unagi. The scallops and lean tuna are my favorite as I got 15 pieces of each. I really wish o had more room in my stomach because I could eat this forever. Always such a treat to dine at Sushi Hayashi and am super delighted about this new location. Easily one of my favorite spots in NYC!

Amazing all-you-can-eat sushi experience in Williamsburg for $98 including unlimited drinks. The 14-course tasting and unlimited beer or sake! Such a great deal!!!!

I wish I could give this place 100 stars. Finally, a great sushi spot in Williamsburg, right in my neighborhood! The entire experience was incredible from start to finish. Both chefs were so attentive and guided us through each course, which made it feel really intentional and special. I genuinely loved every part of it, the quality, the pacing, and the overall experience were all amazing.

Lean tuna on the right. Sea scallop on the left and Fatty Tuna being made.

This place was phenomenal! Our server was an amazing guy who chatted with us and made our lunch very pleasurable! Our Omakase lunch was an amazing experience!! The fish was so fresh and exceptional. You can truly taste each fish flavor and they're not overpowered by toppings. Highly recommend!

The food is amazing the courses are so fresh and flavorful and you can appreciate the fish. My favorite was the A5 wagyu and the king salmon but everything is amazing and super fresh and the unlimited sake is such a plus. Alan was a great host and we loved interacting and talking with him. Definitely worth it!

It's been open for a few years, so clearly it has a good enough formula to keep the neighborhood happy. I have been here once before, but returned last week after dining several meals at Tomoni in Jackson Heights. Apparently, the owners are friends. Nonetheless, I needed to make the comparison. After my first few bites of their Tora Don and Chirashi Don, it was clear that this restaurant has the better quality seafood. Each slice of sashimi had vibrant colors, clean taste, and the proper texture. Tomoni is not bad, but fall slightly short of this caliber. With that said, there is an even farther gap between their rice quality. Though Tora is very good, Tomoni produces nearly perfect texture and acidity for my taste buds. Other than the best omakase restaurants in NYC, Tomoni shines as one of the best versions of sushi rice in the five boroughs. Service is good and space is cute. If I have a craving for some decent Japanese food, I would drive 20 minutes here for a meal anytime.

He ordered the Honey roasted duck ramen and I ordered the spicy salmon miso ramen. Before our ramen came out, we ordered our drinks which were a Thai Iced Tea (can't go wrong with that) and he ordered the Lychee Iced Tea. For apps we had the Veggie Spring Rolls and the Edamame which were so crunchy with just the right touch of salt. We may have visited on a slower day since it was raining, but I can tell that it is a popular eatery and can get busy and packed. We lucked out and were seated immediately and didn't wait long for our food. The server kept refilling our water glasses which was much appreciated. I thought my cup was half full and i'd look up and all of a sudden theres even more water poured. Overall it was a cute restaurant and would be perfect for a lunch. Although we had ramen, they have an extensive menu. Check them out!

Soft Japanese music played in the background, creating a calm, relaxing setting. They started us off with hot tea while we looked over the morning menu. It's nonfussy, and although not the cheapest sushi, it's definitely not super expensive/omakase level. It's a small space with a giant bar for seating and maybe a few tables - the owners are definitely passionate about Japanese cuisine and you can definitely feel that as you chat with them a bit. The menu is small, but dedicated to quality, and you will make your choice quite quickly. All the fish was fresh, large pieces, and really really clean tasting. The soup was delightful and paired wonderfully and everything was presented quite nicely. The grilled fish was also tasty and really tender.

All the ramens were pretty good. The serving size of noodles is perfect, just enough to be filling. - If you want a creamier broth that you might get from a pork broth, I'd recommend the miso (mix of mushroom broth and oat milk). - The niboshi is pretty tolerable spice. The spicy fish oil gives you a kick at the back of your throat, so not really a broth for sipping before mixing it. The pork belly is less fatty than what I prefer but the broth was plenty flavor. It comes with just bean sprouts, scallions and bonito flakes. If you want more toppings, an egg is $3. SEATING / AMBIANCE: 6 tables - 3 two-seat tables and 3 four-seat tables, and a row of high tops. It's a fairly small place, but when we went when they first opened during lunch time, it was completely empty so walk in was not an issue. Quiet with RNB playing.

Also one of the BEST broths I have had in New York. It is comparable to some in Japan with how good that beef broth is. The chicken broth is excellent as well and worked since my friend has a dietary restriction. Sadly could not try the karaage since they sold out! Get it if you can. Food (5/5): probably some of the best ramen you can get in Brooklyn! You take a sip and it has so much rich flavor you can tell they took a long time to cook it. Just the right amount of salt that leads to explosive umami flavor with everything else included. Only downside is that the egg is an additional 2-3 dollars boosting the ramen price to 20 per bowl. Other than that, it's a great bowl of ramen I will be going again. I heard the steak was good from my friends but we got the okanomiyaki, it's pretty big, delicious, but only get it if you are a large fan of them. It's pretty pricey for what it is. Cucumber salad was delicious and fresh, nice hit of spiciness. Service (4.5/5): The person helping us is super nice, though there is a language barrier and that might cause some misunderstandings. I only brought it down half a point because you aren't going to get that understanding but they are very nice and try their best. Nothing wrong but it does get busy and you might have to call them for refills or other issues. The chefs are also very friendly. Cleanliness and interior (5/5): you can tell it's rather small, but modern and chic. Great for a night out to eat as they are open late. Great casual dinner spot and has a fantastic Lofi jazzy playlist that adds to it. Combined with the unforgettable beef broth, and you have a night to remember. J's Parking Advice- it's pretty packed at night because there is a lot to do around. Parking garages are a little far off too but everything is walkable once you find a spot. There is a street parking but it's hard to find, you might have to park far and walk there or public transport. We did take around 10-20 mins to find parking. So good luck! Overall: it's a spot I have to go back to especially since they sold out of the karaage! If that doesn't tell you how good it is not sure what else! Definitely a local favorite and a hidden gem
