Excellent All You Can Eat Sushi, great variety, and service was fast. This is definitely a place we will be coming back to!

I had a very good experience at this sushi haya location. I stopped in for lunch & got the $20 all you can eat option! I was so surprised the all you can eat included appetizers and desserts. That made it really fun! Most things were pretty delicious & the sushi was just ok. I've had better sushi at similar places nearby... I thought the tempura Oreos were fun. The coconut shrimp were good. The sweet green tea was the best thing I had :) The vibe was very nice & clean. Service was very good.

Service was quick and our server was super honest about what's good and what's just ok! Quality is as expected for a AYCE sushi place, but items were fresh and fast. All the food unfortunately were topped with the same overpowering amount of "spicy mayo and sauce" so it was just too much of the same flavor after a while! Nigiri was good. Good location with easy access. No wait for us at dinner time on a Thursday!

Great All-You-Can-Eat Experience! What I really love about this place is that it's all-you-can-eat, but everything is brought right to your table -- no standing in lines like at a typical buffet. The fish is always fresh and full of flavor, and the quality stays consistent with every visit. Service is also on point -- friendly and efficient. If you're into sushi and like a relaxed dining experience, this is definitely worth checking out!

We decided to try a restaurant we had never been to before. 100% satisfaction with us. Food great. Servings very large. Service great. Ambiance great. Price great. We ordered off the menu. We had a bento box, gyoza, a California roll, and vegetable tempura. There were 3 of us. One beer, two waters. Tax and tip $60.

The sushi is great, also highly recommend the teriyaki entrees on the AYCE menu. The food comes out pretty fast and the service is great overall. Highly recommended! The interior has a great modern vibe and is spacious enough for large groups.

Had to post from here some more views of some amazing Sushi and Hibachi, still the best around A.Y.C.E.

The baked mussels were one of our favorites, juicy, savory, and topped with tobiko for a nice pop of texture. Great start to the meal. We ordered a variety of rolls and they did not disappoint. All were generously portioned, fresh, and packed with flavor. The tempura rolls had a satisfying crunch and it came out hot. The sashimi was beautifully sliced and super fresh. Salmon, tuna, yellowtail, white tuna, etc. Service was fast and friendly, and the food came out quickly before our movie day. Definitely one of the better AYCE sushi experiences in the area before going to the theaters. Would come back again next time if we're going to the theaters around it!

Very delicious but very expensive restaurant . $180 plus tips for 4 person . It was for our daughters' birthday so it's ok but not an everyday table . Served by a robot . Drink nécessité to be served colder . Otherwise nice place

I think this place is better than most all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants in Houston! The food came out quickly, everything was super fresh, and it tasted delicious. We ordered a sushi boat -- it was amazing! Oh, don't forget to order the Takoyaki (3 pcs) -- it was so good! And for dessert, the green tea ice cream wasn't too sweet, which I loved. The one in the picture is Tempura Ice Cream -- it looked cool, but tasted a bit floury. Still fun to share once with a friend! In the end, I totally recommend this place! More photos from this visit on IG @lori.119!

We arrived to Sushi Haya with the sweetest server! Each dish was filling but we weren't as satisfied as we hoped to be. Though, it was a good experience to try it out!

Food pretty average. Watch out for robot. Staff seems insincere and all grilled foods cause ulcer like symptoms

When we arrived for dinner there were several diners, but it wasn't overly crowded. Plus, it was happy hour...perfect timing. Our waitress was very helpful with helping us decide. We finally decided on the baked mussels and fried calamari from the happy hour menu. Our main course was the deluxe platter. Absolutely amazing. Some of the pieces on the platter are chosen by the chef. The platter consisted of salmon, yellowtail, tuna, sea bream, and red snapper -- the sea bream took the show! Very robust flavor! The red snapper, a close second. Everything was so good. Very fresh selection. Can't wait to visit again.

I got green tea for a beverage. Finished with a mango sorbet and a mud pie. The meal started with salad with ginger dressing and onion soup. The dressing was fine, and I prefer onion soup to miso, so we were off to a decent start. The teppenyaki show was pretty basic, some fun stuff but not particularly advanced. Shogun's teppenyaki is all seasoned mainly with teriyaki sauce. All of our food was a bit overdone, not a lot but enough to notice. Vegetables were fine. We got the fried rice, which is more fun since it's prepared in front of us, but it was just fried rice and eggs and ended up very sticky. I didn't eat much of mine. The yellowtail roll was ok, the flavor did not jump out but it was good with soy sauce. The sushi was also just OK, the flavors kind of run together. Not a lot of crunch for a crunchy roll. We got our shrimp appetizer last because one of our party had a seafood allergy and they do the shrimp separately if you ask, which is good. The shrimp were prepared just right. The mango sorbet was probably the best thing about the meal. The sorbet is tasty and it's served attractively in a halved mango. I can recommend that. The mud pie is a purchased frozen dessert but it was good. Service was fine, the server was attentive and helpful and the chef did his bit competently. The overall impression I got about the place is that it's tired. The decor is very simple and hasn't been updated in awhile--everthing is brown. The wallpaper was installed some time ago with obvious seams. It is showing wear in several places. The bathroom was reasonably clean but the urinal had flushing difficulty. What the place needs is a makeover, from the decor to the menu to the teppenyaki presentation. It's acceptable but I've had better teppenyaki in several places.

To start the server looked like he was hired "off the streets" and not presentable. Whatever happened to smiling and having a clean appearance. Additionally the drink orders were inconsistently served and we had to ask for items a few times and the "show" hadn't even started. The our chef arrives and I have my 4 grandchildren there and when you bring them you are expecting a bit of a show but our highlight was the "burned face" beginning but failing miserably on the "rice toss" and the disastrous "chop chop train" onion. Has any of the staff been trained? Maybe other tables but ours was pathetic. Sorry guys but facts are facts and even our grandkids don't want to go back!! Food quality was horrid and my salmon wasn't even cooked and I don't believe it is "sushi" grade salmon so I left it for the scrap heap which is where I'm also putting Shogun on my list for future visits. I found their selection of specialty rolls to be very unique and was delighted by the quality of the fish. Furthermore, the rolls were very generous in size and included a lot of fish. Definitely would come here again to try different rolls and their sashimi! - Pink lady roll (4.7): I ordered this roll because I was intrigued by how many different fish were inside (tuna, salmon, white fish, shrimp), and was surprised that they all ended up working well together. All the fish tasted fatty and fresh and the shrimp added a nice chewy texture that the roll needed. This roll was quite hefty with a generous amount of each ingredient and every bite felt so satisfying. Definitely order this roll if you like raw fish! - Yuzu tuna roll (4.4): This was a well rounded roll. The yuzu was pretty strong and gave the roll such a refreshing and bright flavor. I also loved the addition of red onions which added to the fresh taste. The tuna on top was so red and beautiful, and the spicy tuna inside had a nice kick to it that lingered afterwards. - Spicy chicken ramen (3.6): This was a pretty good chicken ramen. The broth was very flavorful and savory with a hint of sesame. The toppings were all cooked well and the noodles were nice and thick. My only complaints would be the chicken was on the drier side and there wasn't any spicy flavor at all. Also the portion was a bit on the smaller side, but overall still very enjoyable dish. - Crispy Calamari (3.6/5): The calamari was well seasoned and crispy on the outside. Most of the squid wasn't too chewy and was a pretty good texture overall, but there were a few that had a more rubbery texture. Service/ambiance: the service was really good! Our server, Sunny, was very patient and helped answer all of our questions. The interior was really pretty with Japanese style decor and some of the booths had privacy dividers, which made a very cozy vibe.
