Food is overpriced. $5 for 2 pieces of salmon nigiri that is still frozen. Was really disappointed that their fish was not fresh and quality still lacking. They did do a nice job with the remodel but it's like putting lipstick on a pig. Invest in the quality of the product instead of the decor. Ended up spending almost $80 for 2 people and was left unsatisfied. I can see their attempt at trying to replicate Kura but fell short. Kura is in downtown Bellevue and charges $3 for most plates, vs $5+ . Much better options around like wild wasabi or Muto japanese in the area if you're looking for sushi options. read more

North of Seattle, in suburbia, this is one of the best conveyor belt sushi place. It was recommended by friends and I liked it so much that I ate there twice in one week. Love their selection and ability to order from a menu or grab from the belt. Washington rolls, seared saand the salmon poke were delicious!! One thing I wish they would improve is consistency in their service. The first time I ate there, they were short staffed, but they weren't busy, and the host/server wasn't very personable or attentive. She never brought out my miso soup and I finally cancelled it with a server who came on shift afterwards. My second visit was better and the service was friendly and attentive, even though they were busier. Okay, one more thing, instead of bringing out one small cup of tea, how about bring out teapots that hold at least 2 servings of tea? Just an idea. Food was just Ok with me. Our seared salmon(s) were overseared... so that yummy soft fattiness of a medium rare piece wasn't experienced. My husband had the non-seared version and said it was good, but has had better... I noticed that almost all the slices of rolled sushi on the belt were thinly sliced. Some so thin, when you picked them up with chopsticks or your fingers, the rice and filling fall out. Pretty stingy for the price if you asked me. You'd get better/thicker slices at Sushiland(Sushiland Redmond branch, NOT Lynnwood---It's terrible) & they taste and have the same quality it seems. We didn't want to drive far for a rotary type of sushi bar, so beggars can't be choosers, right? Overall, good flavors, not the most unique, but good. Overpriced for the slices/quality you get. This sushi restaurant has exceeded my expectations in the Bothell area. When I thought that I couldn't find any decent sushi places outside of Seattle, my husband and I discovered this little gem in Bothell! Conveniently located in the same plaza as Fred Meyer, it's a quick and easy takeout spot. We've ordered here multiple times through their online app (SUPER EASY) and they are always accurate with our order, and have never forgotten anything. We've tried most things on their menu - their fish is fresh and their calamari is always well-fried. I even suggested this restaurant for a work lunch, and they did a great job packaging each meal separately for each person - we will definitely be eating from here again soon! read more

A quick fix for sushi cravings. Food is decent and a decent price for a rotating sushi restaurant. The service and staff is very good. The restaurant doesn't fill up their rotating belt with food like most rotating restaurant does. They prefer you place your order with the waiter or chef which is kinda annoying but I guess its to keep the food fresher and not to waste food. Not a place I would recommend to bring guests or folks that never experienced rotating sushi. But as a local, I like to come for my quick fix once in a while. read more

I am taking two stars off not because the sushi is bad - it's not. The service is very good and today, especially, both waitresses were very friendly, so that's not the reason, either. I'm taking the two stars off today because this place is getting dirtier each time I go (and I go at least once a week if not once every two weeks). I am a customer of their Oregon sister locations, as I travel frequently there and never had the issue (of cleanliness) that I experienced. Today, one of my sushi plates was sticky as was the counter area where individual patrons sit. What grossed me out was the the conveyor belt, as it's clear it hasn't been wiped in a while. I observed this the last time and gave them the benefit of the doubt (busy Friday, etc.). But, alas, nope. There are metal pegs that are about an inch high that sit along the track - guessing it's to keep the sushi plates in line. One of them was to my right and had literally yellow gunk on it. I wanted to throw up at that point, so I asked for my check. I wanted to say something but what do you say to a waitress in a very open area? Please, please, please have your staff clean more - it's clear they're not cleaning this place like they should a restaurant (ongoing and daily). read more

I try to avoid sushi belts but I love Sushi Hana! My cousins introduced me to this place and it's totally out of the way for me but I don't mind the drive for some salmon and avocado hand rolls. Mmm. I find that the quality of the sushi is a lot better than most other sushi belts and I don't feel annoying ordering off the menu because the servers come around and ask what you'd like! I've never experienced this at any other sushi belt. Speaking of the salmon and avocado hand rolls, they're not on the menu but they're the bomb!!! Make sure to order some because you get a lot of salmon and some avocado for only $2.50 each! I normally order at least 3-4 for myself and then a red dragon roll and some veggie tempura. Been years since I had visited this place since I never frequent this side of town anymore. But I was on an errand nearby and wanted lunch. Since then the place had certainly been upgraded. No longer the standard belt of sushi on display to select from. Instead this fancy belt delivers directly to your table via ordering from an electronic menu. Sushi - 1 to 10 would be a solid 8 being as it is as standard as it gets with good presentation. Calamari I would rate a 9. Prices did certainly take an understandable hike yet the presentation of the sushi seems to make up much of the difference. Pros: Good if you prefer minimal interaction from waitstaff. Updated ordering and seating arrangements. Predictable sushi. Quick service. Cons: Maybe just a personal preference but I was hoping that they had updated their spicy mayo. This location compared to other sushi establishments seems to have a plastic aftertaste which is why I try to avoid items using this ingredient at this location. If you have not visited this location recently, do not try to move the plastic sushi case closer to you. I accidentally made this mistake. While the mistake seemed minor seeing as i did not break anything, the waitstaff was quick to correct me. Also would be nice if the waitstaff offered the options for menu and dining instructions for those who don't appear to be regulars regarding the sushi case and order submission. I assumed Wasabi would be coming so I didn't order it until after my sushi had arrived. Because of this I never received my Wasabi but because it seemed minor I just chose to cut my loses and enjoy the rest of my food. WARNING IKURA ARE $6 PER PIECE! $12 PER ORDER. I had a hankering for Ikura (salmon roe) and I tried to order but their ordering screen is bolted down in the middle end of the table. I am visually impaired and I couldn't see the screen so I asked the busboy (because apparently they spent too much on a robot so they probably couldn't afford waiters anymore) and he found the Ikura on the screen and ordered for me. After I get the check to my shock it is $12 per order. I don't think I've ever seen it that much before especially a nothing Thrasher location. I think it used to be like $4 before they brought in all the gadgets. I'd pay that for Uni, but Ikura? Heck no. I felt so taken advantage of being visually impaired - should be warned ordering a $12 nigiri!! This used to be a great value choice. For the $45 I spent for 4 tiny items, I could have gone to Sushi Spott and got a ton more quality & quantity for less money. Dang read more

Sushi Hana has now become my favorite go-to for conveyor belt sushi, even surpassing my long-time love affair with Sushi Land (sorry!) The selection and prices are great and food is never left too long on the belt. If you don't see what you want- ask! The seared salmon and asparagus roll are my absolute favorite and never disappoint. The staff is attentive and bothers you just the right amount in order for you to be happy and get what you need while still enjoying your food or conversation. Plenty of parking, but getting out of the lot and back on to Bothell-Everett Hwy going south is a bit annoying (having to go through the Fred Meyer parking lot). read more

Good value, convenient location, nice variety of food options, friendly staff. We moved to the Bothell neighborhood this summer, and were excited to find out about the sushi conveyer belt joint in town. Each visit during weeknight dinner time has been little to no wait, and there has always been plenty of open seating. Sushi: Most importantly, we like the sushi here. My favorite is the seared salmon, which they make very well here. They have seared salmon with garlic and seared salmon with sesame. Otherwise, I would say the rest of the sushi offered is standard for a casual setting. We mostly stick to the nigiri options, especially salmon nigiri. The quality of the fish is not too shabby considering it is a little sushi joint with a conveyer belt. I heard they also have a nice selection of sushi rolls. I enjoyed the tempura asparagus roll with cream cheese and spicy mayo. I would be interested in trying more rolls sometime in the future. Udon: The noodles were cooked well to an al dente and served in a warm broth. Simple and satisfying when I am in the mood for something warm. I would order this again. Ramen with tempura veggies: Although the soup was so-so, the noodles were overcooked and super mushy. It reminded me of instant ramen that had been sitting for too long. Overcooked noodles are one of my biggest pet peeves! My tempura veggies were also soggy swimming in the soup. I tried to eat the ramen anyway, but after a more few bites decided I had enough. Sorry, but I am sad to say this might have been the worst ramen I have ever had. Parking and seating options are ample, prices are average to a little high, service is prompt and friendly. Overall, okay sushi conveyer belt option in the Bothell area. I will say....it's been a couple of years since I last visited a conveyor belt sushi place and my expectations are pretty low since most places are either hit or miss. Sushi Hana = a miss. Here's my verdict as I write this review out of hunger after my awesomely long long wait for food at Sushi Hana. [[PROS]] -Spacious interior. -Parking is plentiful -Prices not toooooo pricey -Extensive options on the sushi "rolls" (a.k.a rolls that had x + y + z etc items) -Menu easy to look at -Like all conveyor belt sushi places, plate colors denote the value of the dish -Spicy mayo sauce itself was on point and deliciously spicy without being too creamy [[CONS]] -Horrible wait time: I ordered two simple rolls and it took 25min to get it. What made it worse was the restaurant was not even packed at all (and it was prime time for lunch) -Lackluster service: After reminding the hostess twice about my forgotten order, she made no attempt to apologize or explain why there was such a long wait. Furthermore, she made the experience quite unpleasant by repeatedly asking me if I did place an order.......Oi. -Food quality: Meh. Ordered the Super Crunchy Roll + Washington Roll and both were average. The super crunchy roll was lukewarm and semi crunchy while the Washington roll tasted too creamy without much savory flavors to it. -Food portion: The sushi rolls here are a lot smaller in comparison to other places -I'm sad that I left a conveyor belt sushi place with just two plates and not my usual 10+ (I do love sushi). I really enjoy this place as a quick sushi stop. It's not the highest quality sushi but hey, it's quick and satisfies the craving. Pros: Quick! You can get in and out in less than 30 minutes. Servers are usually prompt at taking any special orders and getting drinks. All servers and chefs are typically friendly. Won't break the bank depending on how much you eat. Cons: Quality. But this comes with the territory of convenience, sometimes the rolls aren't the freshest. When it's busy it can take some time to get special orders. Cleanliness - the bar can get a little messy while it's busy and the bathrooms are a little dark and messy. Not a deal breaker since they will clean the counter immediately if you mention it. Even though the ramen wasn't bad and the price was decent, I feel like it was just an upgraded top ramen. Once I tasted the broth, I could taste that distinct top ramen flavor. They just added spicy oil and tempura. I'm not hatin' on it, I'd still buy it, but that's what it tasted like to me. You be the judge if you try it. They raised their prices over 40 percent in the last 2 months. A 4 piece California roll is 5.50. Rolls that were 4.00 a month ago are 6.00 now. I understand inflation is high but this isn't due to that, its because they saw other businesses were raising prices and they saw the opportunity, not need, to do the same. Not a fan of this place. I really don't care for conveyor belt sushi places. Sure it's cheap and you can get in and out really fast but from a quality and service standpoint it's pretty low. Today I decided to order off the menu instead of taking off the belt and they got my order wrong. The dragon roll I ordered was so badly rolled that I couldn't pick it up with Chopsticks. Then once I was finished it took them 10 minutes to come around and tally my plates. Another 5 minute wait at the register. Got out for under $15 which is pretty good for a sushi joint even at lunch but I've been here three times now and remain unimpressed. Not coming back anytime soon. read more

We were super excited to go here after reading the reviews on yelp and to see how high the rating for the place is, but I hate having to state otherwise. The service was nothing to complain about for sure since the servers were very nice and attentive. We went on a Friday around 3pm and there was barely any food on the belt which was odd to us, because we've never seen a conveyor belt that empty before, especially when it wasn't even near closing hour. The food though were disappointing. Most of my sushi were coming apart and some tasted old. The spicy ramen tasted like noodles coming straight out of an instant noodle bag, the only difference is that our instant noodle doesn't come with fried vegetables. I did really enjoy their pepper tuna and seared garlic salmon so there's a slight chance I'll come back for those! read more

I love the whole sushi conveyer belt experience and Sushi Hana definitely exceed my expectations. Their fish was fresh and they had tons of options! Best of all, the price! For the price and the quality you get,I don't think you can get better than this. I wish there is a Sushi Hana in California! We liked it so much that we went back the second time during our stay! We didn't visit this place for a while , heard they have remodeled with a monorail delivering sushi to the table , we thought give it a shot again. Nicely remodeled, a lot of sushi options. The order ready fast right on your table however the sushi rice was cold like you get it from the supermarket sushi stand quality. The plate are larger as the price are higher too , the ramen noodles soup are not really tasty for the price you paid. Sucker for sushi...my whole family is. We browsed on google for some eateries since we were in the area for a sporting event and the conveyor belt got us (if we're being 100% honest lol). I wouldn't say this is the best sushi spot that I've ever eaten at but I certainly wasn't disappointed with my experience. The staff was quick and friendly, we barely had a wait time and they were very quick with fulfilling our "off the conveyor belt" orders. I will admit that their miso soup is the best tasting miso that I've ever had. A little sad that my nigiri kept falling apart and the nori used for my negihama didn't seem like it was the best quality. The service was okay, but the food was meh. Not sure how to describe it really and I don't expect anything grand when it comes to conveyor belt sushi. I have had way better, the salmon nigiri I had tasted kind of dated and when I got the shrimp tempura roll off the belt, I took a bite and it tasted like the roll was making it's rounds for quite some time. I gave it a 2 star at least because the agedashi tofu was decent and the fire roll actually had a little heat in it. I don't think I'd come here again, although the prices aren't bad.
